Imagine sitting on this terrace, listening to the waves from the Mediterranean Sea 20 meters away, taking in the panoramic view over the sea to Africa and Gibraltar. This south-facing and bright, 1st floor contemporary apartment was completely refurbished in 2016 and equipped with high quality furnishing, beds, and kitchen appliances.

The master bedroom with en-suite bathroom has a double bed and ample cupboard space and a safe. The second bedroom has two single beds that can be combined into a double bed.

To satisfy the need for entertainment - and perhaps work - the apartment offers fiber-optic internet (Wi-Fi) and a 43” flat screen TV with international channels.

You will have access to a private underground parking space with a lift. Next to the parking space you have a private room ideal for storing beach gear and golf clubs.

Between the apartment and the sea, you’ll find a well-maintained garden area with two large swimming pools. From the garden, there is direct access to the beach and you can walk along the beach to several very nice restaurants / beach clubs – one for every occasion: Bahia Beach and la Sal are both hugely popular for there charming location and good food. The upscale Finca Cortesin Beach Club offers the perfect setting for a special treat during your holiday stay. In the morning you walk 5 Minutes along the beach to buy your bread - how better can you start a day?

Fabulous apartment

We loved this place, the quality of the accommodation was gorgeous, the bed was the most confortable bed ever! Lovely patio areas, gardens, pool. Great beach access and a new bridge adjacent to the property meant that the restaurant just west of the complex is now very walkable. We had a great vacation here and we would absolutely recommend this apartment. Contacted the host a couple of times and she replied within minutes.

Fantastic apartment

For a sea lover , this apartment is the best . The view and sound of the sea is amazing . The apartment was clean and all appliances easy to use . All the information and communications were straight forward . We would love to stay again.

Modern and tasteful flat with great views of the sea

The flat was as described - quite spacious as there were only the 2 of us. Everything was clean, modern and tasteful with a spacious terrace with great views of the sea and pool. There was everything you needed, although the microwave was not working. The location is lovely, although to beach at the front of the property is quite narrow and you need to walk a little way along the coast to get to a wider beach. There are 2 restaurants within 10 mins walk with lots of restaurants in Estepona (about a 20 min drive) and Sabinillas (10 minute drive). I would recommend the property and my only suggestion for improvement would be to upgrade the bedding - the pillows were awful!

Picture perfect!

Where to start…. There is always a leap of faith moment booking online, hoping that the images match reality. With this apartment, it absolutely did. Splendid views every time you walk into the sitting room. Modern, clean and comfortable furniture throughout. Exceptionally clean and bright rooms and all the standard house ‘kit’ you need. The aircon was fierce and much needed in the evenings. It is doable without a car! An easy walk along the Senda Litoral to Sabinillas and Duqesa. Supermarkets, butchers and greengrocers all available in Sabinillas and plenty of fish restaurants by the sea. Uber works to get to Estepona/ Sotogrande and we understand there are buses if you want to go further. The pool was excellent and if you walk through the side gate you are on the beach. Saskia was super fast in responding to any questions or queries, she could not have been more helpful. Cannot recommend this place highly enough for a chilled out break in the sun.

Home from Home

This was our first travel in over 2 yrs for myself and my Mother ,(92 yrs young), so, we had a few boxes to tick . Its very simple, We had no issues. On our arrival everything was perfect for us. The apartment is lovely ,comfortable and well appointed. We had a couple of issues , which were down to user error! On contacting the The host, she returned my call for help, by return, was most helpful, always assessable and charming to deal with . Just in conversation, Having mentioned a wine cooler would be useful, the very next day , we had a one! Thank you for all your help, assistance and for making our holiday so special, We will return! J :)

Luxury apartment

A lovely apartment with bright, stylish scandi inspired decor. You cant fail but notice the view the minute you walk through the door, we stayed over Christmas 2018 and woke up each morning to a spectacular sunrise that you can watch develop from the comfort of the very comfortable bed! The apartment is worth the stay for the view alone, a lovely terrace to sit and watch the sea and the sun glinting off the water. however Saskia makes the apartment a pleasure to stay in with some extra little nice touches, the place itself is spacious and light and airy exactly what we wanted, even better than the photos. The terrace is quite private and you can sit out to enjoy the view with little in the way. Also worth a mention is Bahia beach cafe where we were treated to lovely service on Christmas day we ate there 3 times during the week and were pleased with the food and the view. It was Christmas, so we didnt use the pool but everything is well cared for and maintained.. a treat, we will return...thank you Saskia.

Stunning apartment with amazing views!

We walked through the door of the apartment for your eyes to be immediately drawn to the stunning ocean views. Beautiful modern and very clean apartment with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. We (my husband and two children age 11 and 13) stayed for two weeks. We hired a car, which I highly recommend to make the most of the area. You can walk to the local garage and along the beach to restaurants etc., but we used the car a lot for exploring and shopping. Our children swam everyday in the pool even though it wasn’t heated and was way too cold for me, but they love swimming and were determined to swim everyday!! Wonderful and relaxing holiday overall. The owner Saskia is extremely responsive and very helpful with every query we had. Overall 10/10!!

What more could you ask for?

A beautifully appointed apartment. The photos and description are just as you find it. This must be the best equipped and decorated place we have stayed in this year. The third property from Homeaway for us in 2017. The view from the balcony was so relaxing we didn't want to leave. Wish you could bottle it. The kitchen had all that I needed to cook a three course meal! Home from home. Saskia was very helpful to if we couldn't find or do something. She responded within minutes. Access to the apartment is very good with the lift, we needed it as one of us was slightly disabled by a leg injury. Both bathrooms are good too, that shower in the master bathroom is wonderful. Supermarkets are very close at hand and easy to find, a good sized fridge freeze in the kitchen will store a lot if you intend to be self catering. Bedrooms are so comfortable I slept very well indeed. Local trips are easy to plan and get to as Casares Del Mar is so conveniently positioned to allow you to make trips out in any direction. Brilliant! I hope we return.

Superb relaxing apartment on the beach front

This apartment definitely has the wow factor. Straight away as you walk in you are faced with a view of the the beautiful blue sea from the lounge. This can also be seen from the master bedroom and on opening the doors there is the constant sound of the waves which is so relaxing. The apartment was bright, modern and spotlessly clean. There was plenty of room for my husband and I and our two daughters aged 20 and 17yrs. We were able to walk to two beach bars about 15mins walk away, both excellent for lunch and evening meals. We tried one of the restaurants recommended by Saskia, La Casa del Rey in Estepona. It was a short drive away and was a lovely modern gastro bar, good atmosphere and service and excellent food. It's very popular so you would need to book. We loved walking through the old streets of Estepona in the evening. The apartment had everything you would need including a TV with Netflix if you wanted to escape the sun for a while. We really enjoyed our break here and would definitely return. Thank you Saskia 😎

Fantastic!!!

One is always concerned when booking online. However the instance we arrived we realised Saskia's apartment was all we had dreamt it would be. If you want to rent an immaculately clean, beautifully presented, luxury apartment in a tranquil location. This apartments for you!! Relax, on the veranda overlooking the sea, lounge on the beds next to the private pool or exit the coded gate to walk for miles along secluded, unspoilt beaches (no hoards of tourist and associated trappings) Our family was in dire need of utter relaxation, we got it a 100 fold!! Wonderful Saskia, many thanks indeed. We would book again in a blink of a eye!!

Modern decor 2 bedroom flat. Very clean with fantastic sea views.

The apartment has fantastic sea views and overlooks one of the swimming pools. The beach is literally 5 minutes walk but is quite pebbly so wasn't ideal for sun bathing. This is not a problem though as the complex have sun loungers which all overlook the sea. It is about a 20-30 minute walk to Sabinillas but there are beach bars/ restaurants along the way. The walk is all along the beach walkway which is lovely and ideal for a refreshment once you reach the town. To drive is no more than 5 minutes and only a few minutes more to the port of Duquesa which has many bars and restaurants. We thought the apartment was ideally positioned and was very relaxing. We do recommend a car for sightseeing. Supermarkets are 2 minutes drive. To sum up this is a lovely apartment, very clean and modern decor and walking distance to Sabinillas.

Amazing apartment!

We returned last week after a week long stay. Saskia's communication throughout was excellent. The instructions for our stay were simple and went without any hiccups. She also provided suggestions for restaurants which proved useful. The apartment is fabulous, super clean and crisp. Simple and stylish decor and bigger than the photos suggest. The master bedroom leads onto the balcony and I am really missing waking up to the sound of rolling surf and seeing the ocean moments away. There is plenty of drawer and cupboard space and the ensuite bathroom is larger than average with a great shower. The second bedroom is at the rear, very peaceful. My Son and his partner were very happy in it. (You get the master next time!) Both rooms have extremely comfortable beds. The lounge/dining space is plenty large enough for four, and I loved being able to see the sea through the hatch from the kitchen. The TV has netflix, which I didn't use, but is apparrently a fantastic addition! The balcony is perfect, great views, large enough to sit out on in comfort and not overlooked. The pool area and gardens are clean and well maintained, there are poolside toilets too. It was very quiet during our stay and alot of the apartments seemed unoccupied. There are also permanent residents, so it has a feel of being really cared for and a sense of community too. We decided not to hire a car, despite recommendations, and managed fine using taxis. The taxi firm were very quick and efficient, and as we were not going to do a lot of sight seeing in the area it worked well. The supermarkets are a short ride away and well stocked. We walked to Sebillinas one day which was a pleasant 45 minute stroll along the beach front. There are two beach bars with 15 min walk, both serving good food with perfect locations and views. The local garage (7mins walk) sells fresh baguettes. We took a taxi to Estepona (c.15 euros) to wander round the old town and have dinner, Saskia's tips were perfect. As we were having a very laid back week and making the most of the pool, we only ventured out to explore Casares, the hillside town. It was well worth the trip, sensational views fron the top, very peaceful and sleepy, with a very Spanish feel that was markedly different from the coastal area. (c.20 euros in taxi). All in all we had a fantastic stay, the area is much quieter than other parts of the Costa, the apartment was everything we had hoped for and more! Thank you Saskia!

Exceptional Beachfront Apartment

The apartment is clean, modern and very nicely furnished. The terraces offer a wonderful ocean view and are ideal for dining or simply enjoying the sun. There is an excellent beach restaurant within walking distance and a short drive to a supermarket or to Estepona. Saskia, the owner, responded very quickly to any query. Highly recommended.

Perfect stay!

Sonniges Apartement mit großem Balkon, auf dem wir jeden Morgen unser Frühstück mit Meerblick genossen haben. Die Zimmer sind blitzsauber und schick eingerichtet. In der Küche fehlt es wirklich an nichts - mein Mann hat sich besonders über die Nespresso-Kaffeemaschine gefreut! Wir waren Anfang Oktober in Casares und das Wetter war noch perfekt für eine Abkühlung im Pool, bzw. wer das Meer liebt: es gibt vom Garten aus einen direkten Zugang zum Strand. Alles in Allem haben wir uns zu viert zwei Wochen lang richtig wohl gefühlt - wir vermissen noch immer das Frühstück mit Meerblick und unseren abendlichen Sundowner im "La Sal". Dieses Jahr bestimmt wieder!

....like in heaven

Nach einer wunderschönen und sehr entspannenden Woche in Casares, können wir die Wohnung der Familie Handberg nur wärmstens weiter empfehlen. Die Lage und die Ausstattung sind einmalig! Der Strand liegt wirklich direkt vor der Tür, deshalb kommen wir im Sommer wieder! Die geräumige, gut ausgestattete Terrasse hatte es uns besonders angetan, der Ausblick von dort war Atemberaubend und wir haben die Stille genossen. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Wir haben uns gleich heimisch gefühlt und wunderbar bequem und ungestört geschlafen. Saskia ist eine sehr warmherzige und interessante Person. Sie hat uns sehr gute Tips für Restaurants und Unternehmungen in der näheren Umgebung gegeben. Vielen Dank dafür! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

We are a German/Danish family with two children. Jens and I met in 2000 and fell in love with each other and the lifestyle of the Costa del Sol. Since then we live in Malaga. We enjoy very much good food and discovering nice places.

Why they chose this property

I am a real estate agent at the Costa del Sol and fell in love with the apartment on first sight. The front line beach location combined with the modern style architecture is something rare at the Coast. The view from the terrace and the soothing noise of the waves has something very relaxing to us, and we use the apartment for weekend escapes and small holidays. Here we relax perfectly from our busy day to day life and enjoy walking along the beach to one of the nice restaurants near by.

What makes this property unique

We like the area very much, since it is not so overbuild and still mantains the Spanish lifestyle. There are surprisingly many very good restaurants near by and a lot of great leisure activities - like golf, hiking, fishing, snorkelling, swimming etc. Thanks to its position you are fast in Estepona, Sotogrande, Gibraltar and only 20 Minutes from Puerto Banus.
