The village and pub everyone was so kind and friendly
Thank you xx
Beautiful, well equipped home ftom home. Kitchen and lounge are amazing, cosy and spacious. Bedrooms are all excellent - but bunk beds really only goid for kids.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.
We were 9 adults staying for a girls weekend. The house is perfect with everything we needed. Lovely large dining kitchen where we enjoyed spending time. Little shop straight across the Road and can't recommend the Lion and Unicorn Hotel for food. It was delicious and service exceptional. Very friendly staff. A great weekend. We will definitely be booking another trip next year. :-) Thanks for a great stay Ross! :-)
Ross has been very accommodating and excellent to deal with as we’ve had to chop & change plans due to Covid. The property itself has a super kitchen & lounge which are ideal for guests to be together. The kitchen table played host to some rather competitive games of Scrabble & Frustration amidst a banquet of biscuits cheese & nibbles! A great property for a group of friends/family to be together.
As a group of 8 adults, a baby and a dog this place was perfect for our stay, with added convenience of en suites. The living spaces were large and cosy. The communication with the owner was great. Situated in quiet village with nice local pub.
Great house in a pretty little village with a very handy shop across the road and pub within a few minutes walk.
Very prompt service from Ross regarding a minor problem which was fixed immediately.
Would definitely recommend for a get together / party with friends. I forgot to ask for the beds to be separated as we were all females but they were spacious enough not to worry about it and all comfortable.

Gorgeous property in a fab location.
Really enjoyed our stay. Perfect for big groups. Logs for fire were wet so was rather smoky but lovely to have the fire going in the evening. The large roasting tin doesn’t actually fit in the oven! The bathrooms were amazing - great showers and so nice to all have our own bathrooms.

Brilliant stay in Thornhill - and in a great location for visiting the surrounding area.
The Coach House is amazing - it looks great inside and outside. It's really well decorated and has everything you would ever need for a luxury weekend.
We booked a meal at the local hotel (Lion & Unicorn) and it was excellent too with a great atmosphere & very friendly hosts..
Overall we had a superb weekend

Lovely house in great location!
We had a lovely stay in Thornhill. A group of us stayed for the weekend and found the house spacious and very comfortable. We went to the local pub for dinner one evening which was a stones throw away and had a lovely meal. Great access to beautiful walks and a nice farm shop and restaurant a short drive away so location is perfect. We would definitely return!

Ideal house for family get together
Large spacious house, great kitchen size and appliances. Although we didn't need it the central heating was on when we arrived and the house was very warm, not needed in June and we turned it off. Bedrooms, linen, bathrooms & towels all good size.
Plenty to do in surrounding area with handy village shop across the road & Lion & Unicorn Pub down the road serving great food.
The one thing we needed was a vacuum cleaner, when we pushed back sofas & coffee table to allow baby to crawl, the floor & rug was very dusty/dirty so my husband ( who was coming later) brought ours from home !!!! There was no access to house vacuum.
The house is a great venue, there were lots of paths/walks around the village.
I would recommend this house to others.

We stayed as a group of 9 adults and had a great time, house is cosy, nicely furnished, comfortable, homely and very functional for meals in. It is also in a great location by the Trossachs National Park with outstanding walking & cycling paths right on the door step. We would definitely recommend this house.

Very pleasant, clean and smart place
11 of us really enjoyed staying in this house for 3 nights. Ross was great to deal with and was very happy to accommodate extra guests at a modest charge. The living room is very cosey and the kitchen is very smart and functional. All bedrooms were in perfect condition and extremely comfortable. All around very happy with it and would recommend to anyone considering staying here
We (a group of 9) enjoyed our stay in Thornhill as a great “base camp” for our adventures in the central part of Scotland. Ross was very attentive to our needs and immediately
Our entire family....ten of us....went to Scotland to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We began our vacation in Thornhill. The house was perfect. It was sparkly clean and very roomy. Each couple had a bedroom and bathroom of their own. The village in which it was located is perfect. The house was centrally located and it was easy for us to make day trips. I often wonder if the reviews I read on HomeAway are real. Sometimes they seem too good to be true. The reviews on Thornhill were very accurate..........perfect. I would recommend this house to a large group of people. It was everything we had hoped for and more.

Four couples enjoyed their stay
The property worked well for us, with each couple having their own bedroom with ensuite. It was well equipped and had ample parking. Not having very hot water in the second floor bathrooms was an issue when we were all getting ready at the same time. The furniture in the main reception room was a bit tired. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, especially given the property location (easy access to Stirling, Edinburgh, and Glascow).
