Beautiful view

The place is really nice! Well equipped kitchen and everything was very clean. The main bedroom has a beautiful view over the Loch and of the mountains. The road out front is quiet, much more so than on the opposite side of the lake. There is a nice pub nearby but better for a beer than for dining.

Amazing Views and Comfortable Cottage

We had a lovely week long stay. The location is ideal to explore Loch Lomand and the west coast. Great pub a few steps away, as well as a village shop. The cottage was beautifully decorated and very comfortable with everything you could need. And the views are beautiful.

Great location and lovely views

We spent four restful nights at the cottage. The location is great for local walks and the outlook is spectacular. With a car you have so many options for walks, cruises, castles, and scenic drives. There are lots of birds and the cottage has absolutely everything you need and more.

Loch Long Christmas

This is one of the nicest holiday rentals we’ve ever stayed in. Such a well maintained, thoughtfully equipped, cosy and comfy house. We were there over Christmas and so cooked a huge amount - very well equipped for cooking, right down to actual sharp knives!!

Even better than expected

The cottage is perfect and more than lived up to our expectations. Stunning views, we were lucky to have great weather which enhanced the scenery. Local Village Inn and Ben's Bothy great if you want to eat and drink local. Lots to do in the surrounding area. The walk to the cobbler well worth a go. One of the best holidays we have had.

Beautiful house, stunning location

If you like a room with a view then this is the house for you. The location is stunning and the house is lovely and so well equipped there is everything you need and more. There is a local shop for essentials and a decent dining pub five minutes walk away for the nights that you don't feel like cooking. Lots of nice places to visit within a reasonable drive and an off road parking space right outside the door. What more could you want. We will be back

Wonderful time!!!

We spent a great week in this magnificent cottage right by Loch Long. The cottage was beautifully situated and we enjoyed our dinners outside in the elevated garden with stunning views of the Loch. The cottage was very nicely furnished and had everything we needed. From the very first moment we felt right at home. Arrochar is really well-situated for visiting the Loch Lomond and Trossachs region. There is also a local grocery store directly in Arrochar and we enjoyed dinner at the local Pub " The Village Inn". We can highly recommand this wonderful place!

A beautiful cottage with amazing views

We stayed for a week whilst attending a wedding. Before we arrived we asked Kay lots of questions some unrelated to the cottage and she always replied immediately with lots of suggestions. Nothing was too much trouble. The cottage was gorgeous. Beautifully furnished with really comfy beds and lovely crisp linen. The kitchen is really well equipped as we - a family of 5 - ate in quite a bit. The weather was amazing, so we made no use of the heating but lots of use of the outside area where we ate breakfast, lunch and tea looking out over Loch Long. The wedding was fantastic made all the better by staying in such a lovely place. We’d highly recommend it to anyone who wants a home away from home in amazing surroundings!

Perfect house

We stayed for one week in August 2019 in this very nice house. The contact with the owners was very smooth. Although they were not able to meet us in person, entering the house and getting settled was no problem at all with the provided instructions. Heating took some hours to get going, but it was cosy and warm for the rest of the week. It is the last house of the village along the local road to Helensburgh, but we did not experience the road as busy during our stay. The view on Loch Long and the Arrochar Alps is excellent - independent of the weather. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, and the bed was comfortable too. The location of the house is strategically perfect for exploring this beautiful part of Scotland. Overall, we can only recommend this house.
