About this property

Casabella is beautifully located in the Tuscan countryside, 14 km
away from Siena and 3 km away from the village of Sovicille. The
house is a typical Tuscan rural villa, it has been lovelingly
renovated and furnished with elegance in typical Tuscan style. It
includes a lovely terrace with gorgeous views over the hilly contryside as well as a nice pool and a garden. The pool will be open from the second week in May until mid October.
The house is very spacious, including a large sitting room with
fireplace, an ample kitchen and dining area, a lovely living room
located in an attic. There are also 2 triple bedrooms (either a
double bed and a single bed) and a single bedroom as well as 2
bathrooms (one with bath, one with shower).
The kitchen is well equipped with dish washer, electric oven,
toaster, microwaves, coffee machines, gas stoves. A washing machine too is available.
Satellite TV and WiFi, as well as bed linen and bath towels are provided and are all inclusive.

Lovely terrace

We had a very pleasant stay. It was very hot at the time but there was a light cooling breeze on the terrace and fans in the house meant we slept well. Plenty of room in the house and a welcoming host. Pool area is a bit tired but the water was cool and we enjoyed a relaxing stay.

Perfect Stay

We really enjoyed our staying at Marzia's beautiful property, we felt like home away from home. The place is perfect for a quiet family staying, surrounded by beautiful countryside but yet not too far from small villages or Siena. Beautiful Tuscan farmhouse

We had an amazing 2 weeks at Casabella. The farmhouse is beautiful, full of original features, well equipped and very comfortable. The views from the terrace, over the vines to the mountains are gorgeous and very relaxing and calming. The location is perfect, tucked away in a small hamlet, but only 15 minutes to Sienna and about 5 minutes to the nearest village, shops and restaurants. We visited Siena, Montalcino, Montepulciano, San Gimingano and Masa Maritima, all within about an hours drive, and there are lovely quiet woodland walks which can be accessed directly from the farmhouse. Prior to our arrival Marzia was quick to respond to any questions regarding directions, shopping etc. Marzia and Renzo met us at the farmhouse on our arrival and showed us round, and throughout our stay was very kind,friendly, helpful and always available for if we needed to ask her anything. We stayed in April, so the pool wasn't open, but you could still sit on the deck and enjoy the sun and the views, the time of year meant that everything was very fresh and green and warm but not too hot. I would thoroughly recommend Casabella to families and groups who want a peaceful relaxing break but also to explore the delights of Tuscany.

A lovely spacious well equipped and situated villa

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Marzia was very helpful and gracious. The Villa had everything that we wanted but looking a bit tired in the kitchen area. I would certainly recommend this property.

Superb property, in a great location, with a super pool

We had a great time in Casabella. The property itself is lovely - clean and in very good condition, with good quality facilities and furnishing. It forms an apartment within a large house, all on one floor apart from a small sitting room on a balcony. There is a small patio outside with a table and chairs, and (quite close by) a lovely pool and sun loungers (shared with one other property). Views from the flat and (especially) the pool are terrific. Marzia is very friendly, helpful and keen to make sure everything is fine -- and kindly made us a lovely Tiramisu pudding during the week! The area feels quite rural, with properties strung out along Via Saldana, and shops/facilities nearby. (We mainly got provisions from the very good Coop in San Rocco e Pilli.) Thank you Marzia for a lovely stay.

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt

Wir waren vom 06.-20.07. in Casabella/Toiano und hatten 14 wunderschöne Tage mit einem tollen Pool, einem großzügig eingerichteten Haus und sehr gastfreundlichen Gastgebern, die uns jederzeit mit Kuchen, Tiramisu, Tipps und als Handwerker zur Verfügung standen. Ein Aufenthalt bei Marzia ist sehr zu empfehlen und wir kommen gerne wieder :-)!

Perfect Tuscan retreat

Peaceful location but so very close to Siena. Casabella is a lovely spot, nestled above the vines with distant views of the Tuscan landscape. The pool is a bonus, refreshingly cool with a nice deck for those less inclined to splash around to keep a watchful eye while remembering why Aperol is such a good thing. Marzia and Renzo are wonderful hosts, sharing generous hospitality and the warmest welcome. We’ll be back :)

Eine perfekte Woche in Sovicille

Wir verbrachten eine perfekte Woche in der super ausgestatteten Ferienwohnung von Marcia in Sovicille. Die Lage ist perfekt für Ausflüge nach Siena und in die Umgebung aber trotzdem sehr ruhig. Wir haben die Woche sehr genossen, vielen Dank.

Home away from Home

We stayed a total of 9 nights at Casabella. A lovely Tuscan Hillside villa with a great view of the surrounding vineyards. For the most part the 5 adults were very comfortable. Mariza was super accommodating, she had a crib and high chair for our infant and even went shopping to stock the house before we arrived.

traumhafte toskanische Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft ist ein sehr schönes, typisch toskanisches Haus. In dem Haus ist alles was man für einen Urlaub braucht. Auch die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet, um der ganzen Familie ein leckeres, italienisches Essen zuzubereiten. Es sind genug Töpfe, Kochbesteck, Teller, Tassen und Besteck vorhanden. Auch Grundlebensmittel, wie Salz, Pfeffer, Essig und Öl wird bereitgestellt. Die Vermieter sprechen deutsch und englisch. Sehr gute Kommunikation. Sehr freundlich, sehr gepflegt. Wunderschöne und ruhige Lage mit bester Aussicht über eine atemberaubend schöne toskanische Landschaft. Da es sich um ein altes Steinhaus handelt, empfehle ich zu den kälteren Jahreszeiten dicke Söckchen oder Hausschuhe und eventuell für abends eine Wärmflasche, da die Decken typisch italienisch sehr dünn sind. Es sind aber ausreichend Decken vorhanden, um sich auch eine zweite nehmen zu können. Auch Handtücher werden ausreichend bereitgestellt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Ausflugsziele wie Siena und Florenz, aber auch der Strand bei Grosseto sind gut zu erreichen. Alles in allem würde ich jederzeit wieder diese Unterkunft wählen, wenn wir wieder Urlaub in der Toskana machen.

Schönes Ferienhaus für den Toskana-Urlaub

Das traditionelle Steinhaus ist sehr schön und authentisch. Die Ausstattung ist komplett und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Die Gegend ist schön ruhig und super als Basis für Ausflüge in die wunderschöne Gegend geeignet. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit.

Siena trip

Farmhouse Casabella located in a country setting just outside of Siena. It was perfect for our group of four adults offering three bedrooms and two private baths. Great base for us and easy travel around Tuscany from there. We really enjoyed sitting outside with our drinks and food. Marzia and Renzo were the perfect hosts.

Urgemütliches Haus in toller Lage

Wir haben eine tolle Woche in Casabella verbracht. Das Haus hat ganz viel Charme und bietet viel Platz. Der nächste Supermarkt ist mit dem Auto in 5 Min erreichbar und es gibt viele tolle Ausflugsziele in der Ungebung. Der Garten mit Pool ist herrlich, der Gastgeber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Beautiful Getaway in Tuscany

Casabella was the perfect place to begin our honeymoon. The house is quiet with beautiful views of the surrounding farms and vineyards. During our stay, we took several trips throughout the region, including to Siena, Lucca, and Monteriggioni — each were wonderful and worth the drive. With luck, we'll be back at Casabella in the future!

Schöner entspannter Aufenthalt

Das Haus liegt toll, es ist groß (wir waren zu viert da), gemütlich und beinhaltet alles, was man braucht. Das Anwesen insgesamt ist sehr schön, der Pool toll (mit Ausblick auf die Hügel der Toskana) und in der Umgebung gibt es viel zu entdecken. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett, immer ansprechbar und verwöhnt auch kulinarisch. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wunderschön

Also: - super Vermieter, die sich um alles kümmern (vielen Dank für alles) - perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Besichtigungen im Süden der Toskana (Volterra, Siena, San Gimignano,....) - sehr geräumiges Haus - wunderschöner Pool (teilt man sich nur mit den Bewohnern von Casabellina) - super schöner Blick von der Terrasse, völlig abgelegen und ruhig, außer.... - das ununterbrochene Hundegebell ist für Lärmempfindliche nachts wirklich störend - Einrichtung ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, was unserer Meinung nach aber total zum Haus passt und uns überhaupt nicht gestört hat - es hätte v.a. in der Küche und um Bad sauberer sein können - es ist bis auf eine Klimaanlage (dafür Ventilatoren) alles auch mehrfach vorhanden

Eine wunderschön Woche

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Casabella sehr genossen. Die Lage ist wunderschön und perfekt im die Toskana zu erkunden. Nach jedem Ausflug sorgte der Pool für Entspannung und Abkühlung und war vor allem für unsere Tochter das absolute Highlight. Aber auch ich fand es wunderschön, jeden Morgen vor dem Frühstück eine Runde mit Blick in den Weinberg zu schwimmen. Marzia und Renzo waren uns fantastische Gastgeber. Sie waren immer hilfsbereit und hatten tolle Ausflugs- und Restauranttipps für uns. Das einzige, kleine Manko für mich war, dass die Küche etwas sauberer hätte sein können. Auch könnte das ein oder andere, wie z.B. die Bratpfannen erneuert werden. Alles in allem war es aber eine tolle Woche in einer wunderschönen Umgebung!

Un petit coin de paradis en toscane

Nous avons passé une super semaine dans un petit coin de paradis. Nous avons pu alterner visites et farniente.Les propriétaires sont très gentils et très accueillants. La maison est très bien équipée et la panacotta de Marzia est délicieuse!!! Merci!

Absolutely Gorgeous

We had a wonderful visit to Casabella and greatly enjoyed our stay. The views from this villa are phenomenal. From the porch, from the pool, from every window. I could sit and gaze for hours at the neighboring vineyards and the Tuscan countryside The pool is a cool escape from the hot sun. My companion and I loved it. Our kids loved it even more! There is a treasure trove of pamphlets, maps, and guides to help enjoy the local area, including the host's restaurant recommendations. The host obviously cares about and takes care of the property with great diligence. She provided a crib for our infant. A couple of notes: there are two separate villas on the property, each sharing the pool. In our case, the other villa housed a family with one child the same age as ours, so they played and had a great time. There is no air conditioning, but even in the peak of summer when we visited, it was cool and comfortable at night. The house is exquisitely decorated, but we needed to move some of the fragile items up and out of the reach of our two-year-old. All in all, I would not hesitate to come back; in fact, I wish I could book again tomorrow. We had a lovely stay.

Très beau séjour chez Marzia

Nous avons passé 5 jours magnifiques. Les vignes, les cigales, les fleurs, le petit village de Sovicille et l'accueil de Merzia et Renzo : que de plaisir et de farniente! Une vraie Dolce vita!
