Close to all amenities shops & supermarkets, banks, pharmacy & doctors, bars & restaurants. This fully furnished apartment is only 50m from the beach. The harbour is nearby for local seafood/fish restaurants.

Near shops & Supermarkets, bank, bars & restaurants, also there is a water park, aquarium and golf course within the resort. There are bikers for hire as well as 3/4 and 5 seater family bikers or you can take a tour of Roquetas on a land train.

Roquetas is still a very Spanish town, it has a very good and large beach perfect for swimming and water sports.

Perfect

Stayed for a week in july with my two daughters and had a perfect holiday. Communication was excellent, got the keys and information in plenty of time. Decided not to hire a car and chris was waiting for us and took us straight to apartment. Spotlessly clean and a really lovely place with everything you need for your holiday. Location is absolutely perfect with two great swimming pools. Very safe and friendy people around. Shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk and the stunning beach just a few hundred yards away. We cannot wait to stay again

Perfect location

Myself, my husband, teenage son, and his friend stayed for 2 weeks in the apartment. Having been to Roquestas many times before, we know the area well and the apartment was perfectly situated and appointed (the tv and 2nd bathroom a must with two 14 year olds in tow!) The large terrace is a real sun trap and was nice to sit on with a cold beer once the sun had gone in the evening. I have to make a special mention of the kingsize bed. The mattress was really comfortable which is unusual in a rental property! The apartment is very close to the beach, tapas bars, and restaurants. It's also a short distance from the bus stop, which was great as we didn't hire a car this year. The larger pool was shut while we were there, but the smaller pool is still a good size and was open from 11am - 9pm. Don't be confused by the sign that suggests it's not open between 3pm and 5pm, it's an old sign and there is an amended, printed sign next to it. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay in Al Baida and will hopefully return in the future. Thanks to Steve and Chris

Great stay lovely property.

Property was well stocked and clean, close to the beach on the tourist end of Roqueta. Comfortable beds and couches and TV and internet for the colder nights (visited Feb). Stephen communicated well and information provided was useful. Overall great stay.

Lovely stay in Roquetas De Mar

We had a lovely stay at Steves apartment. It was large & spacious with a really big terrace.Close to all the shops,beach and some lovely restaurants. It was the Spanish holidays whilst we were there which made a great atmosphere in the evening The only downside to the complex was the pool opening times.This however did not spoil our stay .

January 2020 One month stay

Prime location, close to the beach, shops and eating places – especially Nelly’s (a favourite of ours) which is a leisurely walk along the beach. Nice light airy flat which gets the sun from sunrise and through the day. Huge terrace – WOW – gets the sun from early on until sunset. Stephen gave great instructions and information and was really helpful and prompt. Roquetas is a great place in January, lots of places are open. We had a wonderful time; wall-to-wall sunshine for 24 of the 30 days. Only had 2 days of rain and overcast skies, most of it down to Storm Gloria which didn’t seem to do any real damage to this part of the coast, although one end of the beach and a bit of the nature reserve was flooded for a couple of days.

Lovely apartment close to beach

We enjoyed our stay in Steve's apartment. Its a very spacious apartment with a large balcony and in a great location within Roquetas and would be brilliant for families or a group of 4. It has everything you would need close by and its about 8 minutes walk to the beach. Steve responded to queries we had immediately as we had a hired a car and found it difficult to find the property on the night we arrived. Steve was very helpful in giving us directions which we really appreciated.

Very spacious 2 bed apartment with everything you need loved the large sunny terrace

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment especially the large sunny terrace with loungers nice to relax on after a day out . The apartment was well situated centrally with plenty of restaurants to visit and good supermarkets only a short stroll to beach and promenade we enjoyed hiring cycles which were very reasonably priced and cycled from one end of the resort to the other and a bit further think we cycled around 20 miles with a stop for tapas and a glass of wine. We found the loungers on beach were very comfortable and not expensive.the apartment was very comfortable had everything we needed and would like to visit again. Good contact with owner.We found almeria airport very good not to busy and easy to check in and out .

Just like being at home but with sun!

Lovely spacious apartment with huge south facing terrace. Made all the the better with British TV channels, which came in very handy as we had our dog with us and couldn't really do the pub crawling thing. Nice area, though a little quiet because of the time of year. I would imagine that in the middle of summer it is buzzing. Steve was very accomodating, as were Chris and Lynn who were the local agents and sorted out any minor problems. Lots of little touches to make us feel at home. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Spacious.

Large 2 bedroom apartment. everything you need is there, from a good range of kitchen equipment, patio furniture, for those long hot summer days, when you just want to relax. We did find it quite noisy from the above apartment Perhaps could possibly do with a lick of paint as looking a little tired. Especially on the terrace. We did not use the pool area as not the time of the year, personal I wouldn't want to as far to many Cats roaming around the complex. This was our 3rd time to this area 2nd this time of the year, but found it to be exceptionally quiet this time, we will be back in rouquetas again but most likely around September time.

Wouldn’t stay anywhere else

This is our 4th stay at Steve & Chris’s apartment at Al Baida, where we feel comfortable and relaxed. The keys arrived in the post long before we went, along with plenty of information about the apartment and the resort. The apartment is exactly as described, and in the pictures, and was clean and tidy upon arrival. It is well maintained and we noticed additions and replacements since our last visit. There is also people you can contact in the resort should there be a problem. Would stay again and recommend.

Good sized apartment,ideal for two couples or a family of four. Very secure.

Good location for beach, shops,bars and restaurants. Very secure accommodation with locked gates.Good size with fantastic terrace.Would stay here again and recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in Roquetas.Easy booking process with home away from the start,Steve the owner is always available to answer any queries. We stayed for a week starting the 7th October and the weather was excellent apart from a couple of storms which came and went quickly. The resort is very quiet this time of year with some of the hotels and restaurants already closed down for the winter, but for us the ideal time to visit

Very nice apartment well laid out for two couples

lovely spacious apartment with a big south facing terrace and ideally situated for the beach shops and restaurants. Had a lovely time with excellent weather . The owner did provide excellent customer service and could not have done more to make sure we enjoyed our holiday. I will definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives. Spacious apartment in a great location

TOP NOTCH!!

My husband, two teenage children and I went to Steve's apartment for 17 nights on 22nd July. On entry, we knew we'd have a wonderful holiday. The apartment was clean, spacious with a huge terrace in the best spot on the complex. Everything went according to plan from first booking the apartment to vacating it. Steve was really helpful in giving us valuable info about apartment and surrounding areas. Even though complex is situated in a popular area, it was really peaceful and quiet and we all had such a relaxing time. All rooms were bright and airy with a full range of kitchen utensils if we decided to stay in. The air-con was a Godsend as it was hot, hot, hot. Is only a few minutes' walk to the beach, restaurants etc, with a supermarket and pub, tapas bars directly outside complex. We had a choice of two big swimming pools which we used every day. Apartment is in a prime position, is brill so thanks so much Steve for ensuring we all had a wonderful time. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!

Great apartment, location and service.

A large 2 bedroom apartment, ideal for two couples as the bedrooms each have their own bathroom facilities and are separated by the kitchen and large lounge area. the bedrooms and lounge have individual A/C units that provide excellent cooling. The kitchen is well appointed and the terrace is very large, with sun loungers. The apartment has the use of a lawned area with two pools. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment and can't fault its location - 50m or so to the beach and the same in either direction to restaurants and a couple of supermarkets. Above all else, I must commend Steve on his reliability and thoroughness in answering emails. If you decide to visit Roquetas then this must be your first choice apartment.

Lovely apartment in a great location

Just got back from Roquetas de Mar after staying at al baida. We have stayed there several times and always have a lovely time, it's like home from home. The spacious apartment has everything you need. It's clean, has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and living area, so it's good for sharing with friends. An added bonus is the excellent wifi and air con. Also the terrace is probably the largest one I've seen. The location, beach, tapas bars, restaurants, supermarkets, in fact everything is on the doorstep. And if you want to go further afield, the bus stop is just a few minutes walk. Steve, the owner is always so helpful with information and any queries you might have. What more can I say "we love it!" Looking forward to the next time.

Perfect holiday apartment for staying in Roquetas.

We have just returned from a week's holiday at this apartment and enjoyed a wonderful rest. All you could possibly want is close at hand. Plenty of Cafe's, bars and restaurants to choose from, Shops and supermarkets close by. A very short walk to the beach. The apartment is fully equipped and very spacious. The outside area is large and an excellent sun trap (even in March!). The owner provided lots of information about the locality, along with maps to help you get around in the early days. Public transport links are really close at hand. This was our first holiday on mainland Spain. We would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to others and hope to return for a fortnight holiday next year.

Perfect

Everything you could possibly want in a large comfortable home. Enormous balcony where you can just relax and soak up the sun .excellent communication from the beginning with the owner. Very pretty gardens around the complex pool looked nice and clean but didn't use it as we were extremely lucky with the weather averaging 28 degrees and reaching 39! We spent alot of time at the beach five minutes away. Lots of great bars cafes and restaurants nearby dormillon bar which is directly under the apartment was lovely the management and staff were very friendly and helpful. For a fun night out tropical karaoke bar was brilliant and very reasonable prices. New York New York excellent quality food as was flemengos but as i said absolutely loads of places to go. Would highly recommend this beautiful apartment. In great surroundings many many thanks

Spacious, well laid out,with a huge terrace having sun all day long

Having just returned from 2 weeks of laid back relaxation,we are already contemplating returning to Mr Stephen Chaplin's apartment again next year. The apartment was exactly as described and the en-suite facilities in the 2nd bedroom was a blessing,with a grown up daughter in tow. The grounds and outdoor pools in the complex were well looked after and spotless. Considering the close proximity of bars and restaurants,the apartment was extremely quiet and with the beach within a short stroll,it's location within Roquetas is perfect.

Fabulous spacious apartment

We stayed at Steve's apartment for three weeks over July and August 2015. It is a great apartment, very spacious with a huge outdoor area. It really is just 50m to the beach! Lovely pool area with two large clan pools. We loved going to Antoni's tapas bar which is right below the apartment and also Dormillon café bar also below. Don't ley this put you off as there is absolutely no noise from the cafes and bars. The apartment is so close to many great bars and restaurants and also good supermercados. We highly recommend this apartment!

Third visit!

This was our third stay here, which speaks for itself - this time we stayed for four weeks. the apartment is handy for many restaurants and bars and a small supermarket is very close!

We came out for week and stayed with friends and looked at about 30 different apartments we picked this one because its an older style property which means it is very large compared to most modern apartments large lounge, 2 large bedrooms, kitchen, dinning room and a very big terrace facing south that gets the sun all day and its location to the beach about 3 to 4 minutes walk away, also you do not need a car everything you need shops, supermarkets and bars & restaurants all within walking distance.
