About this property

Brantfield House is a large Victorian house set in mature gardens in a quiet location overlooking the village of Bowness and Lake Windermere. The apartment is on the first floor at the front of the house, with beautifully proportioned rooms offering spectacular views of the lake and surrounding fells.

The apartment is continually being updated. All rooms are well furnished, spacious, light and airy. The apartment sleeps 4 in two bedrooms, the master bedroom has a kingsize bed and the second bedroom has twin beds. Each room has plentiful storage and the twin room has a TV, and PS3

The bathroom has a shower, toilet and wash basin. The kitchen has ample workspace and includes oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, washer and dishwasher. The large lounge /dining room was recently redecorated and is comfortably furnished with leather settees and dining table set in the bay window. There is a TV with Freeview, Netflix and DVD player There is a selection of dvds, books and games. The apartment has free wifi access. This room has a bay window allowing spectacular views of Lake Windermere and the surrounding fells.

The house is set in a quiet location but only a short walk to the heart of Bowness

Out of this world

Mind blowing accommodation, couldn't stop looking at the incredible lake views. Spotless property, so quiet and tranquil, listening to nature and with a short 5 minute walk to the centre. Perfect weather made the stay even more incredible.

Beautiful apartment

We had a great stay at this beautiful apartment it had everything we needed, it was spotless and a fantastic view, we have been to this area a few times now and I would definitely stay here again as couldn’t fault it, we both loved it. Lots of dvds to choose from if you’re just wanting a relaxing movie night in, it was like a home from home we loved everything about it. The views are amazing and it’s so quiet and only a short walk down hill to the town with loads of pubs & restaurants. I would recommend to book this apartment if available. Thank you to the host for letting stay in your great apartment x

Really lovely spacious apartment. Great views. Extremely well appointed and tastefully decorated, , we lacked for nothing. Comfortable and quiet, but only a short distance from the lovely hustle and bustle of Bowness. I particularly like the artworks on the wall, two of my favourite artists, so what more could we want? !! Will definitely return Thank you Christine

Beautiful property with stunning views

This was my third visit to Brantfield and as usual, the property was spotless with great amenities.The view of Lake Windermere is one of the outstanding features of the property.

Another wonderful holiday.

This is our second visit and we love this property! It is in a fantastic location with the most wonderful view of Lake Windermere. Clean and comfortable with all the amenities you need and easy parking outside. Quick walk to the shops, restaurants and boats and yet in a quiet location. The host is very good with communication and updates. Thank you Christine!

Hidden gem

Great apartment with absolutely stunning views across Windermere. The apartment was clean and cosy with all the amenities that we needed. It's located in a quiet avenue but only a 10 min walk into the heart of Bowness. I would recommend this apartment and would stay here again.

Great Apartment

We had a lovely 4 night stay in Bowness. The apartment was perfect for us, clean, really well equipped and the living room was very cosy. Plus it comes with superb views of the lake and hills. We would definitely recommend.

Best Views

Stayed with my mum and dad at Christine's place and was thoroughly impressed. Absolutely amazing view from the living room window. Loved eating meals there. Very tidy and homely. Well-stocked kitchen. Only downside was the hike up the hill! Only later did we realise there was an easier way up. Bowness is a lovely little town, very picturesque and lots of nice cafes and restaurants. Would definitely stay again if I come back!

Wet week in august

Flat was lovely. Perfect location in bowness despite the hill .... which kept us for. Lovely walk right on the door step too. Flat was lovely and homely with everything and more that we needed.

Amazing views

This was a great apartment. The views from the living room were amazing, clean, tidy and spacious. It was a peaceful place, easy walking distance to the centre and other activities. I would certainly stay here again.

Great flat, location and views are fantastic. Flat is very clean and comfortable. Bowness is just down the hill but the flat is quiet and away from the busy area. Highly recommended

Fabulous view!!

Fabulous apartment with the most amazing views from the lounge window. Evenings spent watching the sunset over Lake Windermere with a drink and a book. Big rooms with high ceilings and very comfortable beds. Good shower with plenty of hot water. The walk into Bowness is relatively easy so long as you take the walking route suggested by the owners, rather than the steep car route. 5-10 min walk to the restaurants and shops. Very clean and fluffy towels. We will definitely stay again!

Amazing Flat in Bowness

Lovely bright ,clean with all the mod con and more .Excellent communication with the owner The view made up for that really steep climb to the flat..A word of advise try the bit gentlier climb up or down the road via Langrigge .road (believe me you knees will thank you lol )

Another fantastic stay

Perfect short break in Bowness. Even when it rained we had the apartment to go to and relax. Feels like a second home with plenty dvds and streaming services to use. Thanks again for a great stay. Highly recommend.
