Invite your friends and family to join you to experience the magic of the Dordogne Valley. The Cottage and Barn is well equipped for you and your family to enjoy a wonderful holiday, whether you choose to spend Les Chouettes challenging your family to a game of ping pong, volley ball or simply relaxing next to the pool. We have got you covered.
Our quaint village of Tremolat is only 1 km from the Les Chouettes, which hosts 4 great restaurants. The Michelin star restaurant, Le Vieux Logis, the Michelin star Bistro en Face, the Wine bar - Les Tartines, the Pizzeria - Nulle Parte. In summer on the bank of the Dordogne Riverwe have a lovely little pizzeria. Here you can enjoy a light meal and watch the sun go down. When it comes to restaurants you are visiting the right area.
We also have weekly music sessions with fish and chips at our wonderful Cafe Village. This is so much fun and not to be missed!
If you are interested in cycling, walking, history of early man, history of the 100 years war, castles, chateaux, delicious wines, gourmet foods you are visiting the right place. We also have caves worth a visit only 500 metres from Les Chouettes.
The Basin Nautique, offers water skiing, peddle boats and paddling.
Hire canoes and paddle down the river and enjoy the tranquility of bird watching along the way.
We have 10 non-professional bikes onsite all for your own use to peddle into the village to buy your morning baguettes and croissants.
Visit the Dordogne you will create lovely memories which will last a lifetime.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Tremolat and the beautiful Dordogne region when we visited in 2008 from Chicago. We have returned every year since that trip and we now have our beautiful cottage and barn Every day we discover something different and very special. Living in the Dordogne Valley is certainly a blessing. Tremolat itself offers 4 superb restaurants and 1 wine bar and is within easy reach of wine regions such as Bordeaux, Begerac, Pecharment, and the lovely smooth wines of Monbazzilac ( gorgeous with fois gras), It is also within easy driving distance of wonderful historical sites such as Baynac and Castlenaud chateaux, 1 hour from the paleolithic sites such as Les Eysiers. We are also only 35 km from Bergerac Airport, and 2 hours from Bordeaux Airport.
