Spacious & attractive 7-bedroom villa overlooking the picturesque Obidos Lagoon surrounded by pine and eucalyptus woodlands on Portugal's unspoilt Silver Coast, within an hour’s drive north (60 miles) of Lisbon airport. Located in a quiet residential area with private garden, BBQ area & fenced off 10m heated swimming pool, providing a pleasant environment to relax. Just minutes to a large sandy beach, with a selection of other lovely beaches close by. Also 10 mins from three high quality golf course and 15 mins to the famous medieval walled town of Obidos. The villa is well located for many other places of interest within an hour’s drive (Lisbon, Sintra, Nazare, Fatima, etc). The villa has an upper level with 5 double bedrooms (two with en-suite), a family bathroom, a large lounge/dinning room with traditional open fire, fully fitted kitchen and veranda. Downstairs is a separate spacious annexe with 2 double rooms, a big family bathroom and an integrated lounge, dinner & kitchen area.

Nice Villa mit schönem Pool

Great time had by all

There were only 6 of us, 3 adults and 3 children therefore didn’t use the annex, there’s plenty of room for a large party. Pool is a great size and enjoyed by everyone although colder than expected as it said it was heated. Short walk into the village which has 3 bars and a small shop where you could get essentials. The beach area is outstanding. Found the villa easy as we had found it on Google maps, it wouldn’t except address so put Villa Catharina or Kitesurfing Soul obidos lagoon and it took us there. Will hopefully go back in the future.

A beautiful villa in a perfect location.

We had a lovely week staying at this villa. It was a perfect size to accommodate our large group of 9 people. The pool area was a big hit, along with the beautiful views from the balcony. The villa itself had everything we needed and the location was ideal for accessing Obidos Lagoon and the nearby beaches. I especially enjoyed the track that runs alongside the lagoon, it was great for an early morning run.

Beautiful Experience

Villa Lobos is a beautiful home set against a rural but equally beautiful landscape. When we arrived, we couldn't believe the size of the villa - and the pictures on the Vrbo advert dont do it justice in this regard! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the little ones in particular loved the lazy days by the large pool at the property. I would definitely recommend for large family groups who are looking for a quiet getaway in Portugal. The property is authentic Portugal, and whilst clean it does have a certain musty smell given it is quite dated. The beds too could do with upgrading - but overall enjoyed by all!

Great family holiday

We had a party of 11 people, age range 25-84. A family celebration for my 60th birthday. The taxi firm had trouble finding the villa as the Sat nav couldn’t find the address but we contacted Robert who directed us. Pick up was fine. The villa is a bit remote and there’s not a lot around it. We went to the local restaurants which was a 25 min walk (we had elderly people with us). Restaurants were fabulous. A very small shop is by the restaurant but you do need to hire a car to get to main supermarkets. Taxis are difficult to find. The villa had everything we needed. There are beautiful nature walks for the able bodied!

Great location and good, but humid house

The main part of the house is nice with 5 bedrooms that are all big enough for two people and 3 bathrooms. It is a bit humid, for example there was water on the floor a couple of times, and you could tell that this is a general problem by the look of the floor. But other than that the house met all our expectations, as it is easy to use the kitchen, there is enough of everything, and the pool is great! But the annex is actually the basement of the house, and it is so humid that we had to give up using it. Luckily, we were 10 people including a baby staying in the house, and there was space for all of us in the main part of the house. But it was a bit of a hassle to move upstairs after trying to sleep downstairs and being vey uncomfortable, so it would be better if the house was just let without use of the annex. A small note could also be made on the barbecue not being in very good shape, but other than that we were very happy and enjoyed the stay.

Fijn verblijf gehad met elkaar

Het was een heel fijn verblijf. Ruimte genoeg voor ons. De omgeving is mooi en fantastisch om te wandelen. Het zwembad is ook super lekker. Je zit wat afgelegen waardoor het prettig was dat we auto's hadden gehuurd. Het is wat vochtig maar met goede ventilatie goed te doen. Het is ook een plek in de buurt van een aantal byzondere bezienswaardigheden van Portugal. Wij waren met 12 en hebben een fantastische tijd gehad.

La casa está muy bien ubicada. El entorno es formidable. Las condiciones de humedad en la casa no son buenas. Pero si se tiene cuidado con la ventilación y se usan adecuadamente los aparatos deshumidificadores se puede conseguir un ambiente aceptable. Disfrutamos mucho de nuestra estancia. La piscina climatizada fue muy aplaudida por los más frioleros de la partida.

Gutes Objekt in toller Lage

Im großen und ganzen gibt es an dem Haus nicht viel zu beanstanden, bis auf die Matratzen in den Doppelbetten die sehr hart sind. Wenn das behoben ist und der Herd wieder komplett funktioniert gibt es nichts zu bemängeln. Preis Leistung ist in Ordnung. Ich kann das Haus weiterempfehlen.

Fijne vakantiewoning in rustige omgeving

Heerlijk verblijf gehad in Villa Lobos. Nette ruime villa met 7 aparte slaapkamers. Goed zwembad. Hele rustige locatie waar als je iets wilt ondernemen je wel echt een auto nodig hebt. Echte aanrader voor grote families; wij kwamen samen met 3 families en dat ging prima. Goed contact met de eigenaar en kleine euvels werden snel verholpen. Hopelijk komen wij hier nog eens terug!

Calme et bel endroit

La location est au calme assez proche de Lisbonne, il y a tout pour une grande famille et la piscine est chauffée ! Le deshumidificateur est absolument essentiel car c est une zone humide, et pas évident de manger le soir dehors car la semaine où nous avons séjourné en août fut très fraîche.

Zusammenfassung

Dieses Objekt hat eine sehr geräumige, saubere und auch familiäre Einrichtung. Vom Standort aus kann man viele Sehenswürdigkeiten entdecken. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir hatten Schwierigkeiten am ersten Tag das Haus zu finden. Ansonsten alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen!!!

Lagoon villa

Great location from walking distance to the lagoon. Nice swimming pool and overall well equipped. The owner was also very responsive and flexible with arrival and departure time. We where a big group of 14 persons so needed the top and bottom part of the house. The house on the ground-floor is pretty damp, but the owner did have some dehumidifiers running there. The family enjoyed a lot the wide range of DVD's who were available and also the acces to lots of extra tv channels. We think the price range is very fair for the big property you get.

Toller Ort für Familienurlaub

Der Ort ist wunderschön und das Haus hat oben mächtig viel Platz für uns 9 Gäste gehabt. Die untere Etage haben wir nicht bezogen, das es dort einfavh zu feucht ist. Die Sauberkeit lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig (dringende Verbesserung durch die Agentur gewünscht). Die Kommunkation mit den Besitzern war ausgezeichnet. Ich werde dieses Haus weiterempfehlen und gern wieder kommen mit meiner Familie und unseren Freunden (auch wenn wir erst einmal wieder selbst alles reinigen müssen).

We find that not only ourselves but our gests too, love to enjoy the real Portuguese culture and many historical places to visit within 1 hour from the villa, including Lisbon, Cascais, Estoril, Sintra, Nazare, etc.
You can find lots to do and if you want just to relax it is great for that too.

What makes this property unique

The villa is by the lagoon and very close to the beach.
The size of the property and its facilities can accomodate up to 14 people confortably.
Our fully fenced swimming pool is ideal for younger children. The villa is in a quiet cul de sac with sucluded gardens.
