It benefits from a huge openplan living/ dining area with valted ceiling, wood burning fire .The amazing Italian design kitchen with black granite worktops is both modern and fully equipped including 5 ring gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle plus a large central island with bar stools making it a perfect spot to plan your day over breakfast and a separate utility room with iron, ironing board plus washing machine.

Bedroom 3: This spacious room come with a double bed and benifts from its own work space plus stunning sunrise views over the mountains.
Bedroom 4 : with 2 single beds this room has garden views and direct access to outdoor sitting and dinning area.

Villa Buena Vista has the unique feature of an indoor heated pool ( the pool temperature is generally maintained at around 24 degrees however additional heating up to 28 degrees can be provided at an additional cost, please ask for extra details) . Surrounded by lockable sliding doors giving an indoor/outdoor feel so you can enjoy a dip what ever the weather! The pool overlooks the sun terrace and tropical planted garden. For those with small children, for safety reasons, it is possible to completely shut off access to the pool area
Fantastic views of El Cotillo and the surrounding mountains, giving the perfect opportunity to watch Fuerteventura's breathtakingly sun rise and sunsets plus due to the island being a biosphere and starlight reserve you can experience incredible stargazing. Perfect break with mum

What a beautiful villa in a lovely quiet location. Just the 2 of us but obviously loads of room for 8 people. Exceptionally well equipped, we didn’t need anything. Pool is fabulous, outside space is lovely sitting out on comfy sofas in the evening, eating inside and out is easy as plenty of dining space to suit your mood. We will definitely come again and thinking of bringing the family.

Fabulous Getaway

My wife and I had the most fabulous peaceful getaway together in this beautiful well equipped villa. The location was secluded and quiet, and everything so clean and to a very high standard, just what we were looking for as an escape from our everyday busy lives. The villa was spacious and set in its own walled gardens and was just perfect, having everything we could have wanted on hand. Also the indoor pool was such a bonus as we were able to open up all the doors on a hot sunny day (plenty of those) but perfect for when there was a Fuerteventura breeze blowing some afternoons. The villa is ideally situated in the sleepy village of El Roque and only a stones throw away from the costal town and beaches of El Cotillo, which has a nice feel to it and a good selection of shops bars and restaurants, ideal for all our needs. Also it is only a short car journey to the larger town of Corralejo and the sand dunes and beaches of the East coast. If you are looking for that perfect peaceful getaway, then this is the place for you. Also Stewart and Tanya who own and rent out this villa and live not too far away, are the most welcoming and helpful of people you could wish to meet and nothing is too much trouble should you need them. We will be looking to return again very soon. Thanks for a wonderful holiday. Peter and Lucie

The best villa that we have holidayed in.

The location is perfectly situated with just a short drive into El Cotillo, Lajares and a little further to Corralejo and La Oliva. The property itself had recently been refurbished and felt like new. The kitchen had everything that we needed and had all modern appliances. The huge lounge was great with a very high ceiling helping to cool it. The smart TV was very useful some evenings if we didn't go out and the wifi was fine with just the occasional blip. New mattresses in the bedrooms made it very comfortable for sleeping, each having a fan. I would say that air con in the bedrooms is the only thing missing although some people prefer not to have it. The indoor pool was a perfect temperature. We were unsure if we were going to like an indoor pool as opposed to an outdoor one but in the end we felt that it was better. The outdoor space is great for relaxing with a book, with plenty of shade and loungers if you are a sun lover. Stewart and Tanya are lovely people and not to far away if you need help although we only called on them once to help reset the TV which they did for us over the phone This spacious villa makes you feel like a rock star, you won't be disappointed. Family holiday

The villa was beautiful , very clean, modern and spacious with a fantastic pool leading out to a sitting area outside. We had everything we needed and Stewart was just a phone call away. As a big family the villa met all our needs and I’d definitely recommend it. I would say that even though you can walk to the shops, the area is quite remote so a car would be needed to venture further. Definitely we would come back.

Relied on old reviews, needs work

Nice quiet location and big villa, unfortunately we relied on old reviews as there was nothing more recent. I can see how the villa a couple of years ago was excellent but now it’s a bit tired. Blinds in the lounge are yellowed and broken so you cannot close at night, mattresses are old and uncomfortable, the front door had to be locked to stay closed, the door to the master en-suite did not close. Dishwasher dispenser didn’t work and you had to light some hob rings with a match as the igniter didn’t work. Wi-Fi is available but you have to pay extra for it at an expensive rate. The worst part for us was being told the day before arrival that the pool heating had broken. The indoor pool was the main reason we had booked the villa to enjoy time with the kids in there. It had broken on the Monday and we were told on the Wednesday. As it was over Easter we were told it couldn’t be fixed. On arrival some of us tried to use the pool but it was just too cold as with no heating and the sun not shining on it to heat, the temp had dropped. It hovered around 21 degrees. We asked to leave the morning after arrival due to this but were told by the owner we were unable to cancel and would have to forfeit the amount paid less 200 euro. We ended up staying as couldn’t afford to pay for our holiday twice and made the most of our time there by driving to the beach instead. The pool warmed a bit with the weather but didn’t get above 23 degrees all week despite the fact we keep all the doors closed as advised so was still too cold for most of the party. We definitely left disappointed at the amount we had paid for the facilities advertised not to be available.

Photos do not give this villa justice

Having rented many villas over the years, this is one of the best we have stayed in and made even more so by the ease of contact with the owner. Pool was a little cool to start with but was soon sorted out and enjoyed most days. Fabulous location for walking down to the coast, shame there is not a restaurant in the village but plenty of choice a short, 5 minute drive away in El Cottillo or 20-25 minute walk. Very well equipped kitchen, ideal for cooking for a number of people. If booking as a group with friends in future, will certainly book again. Thank you Stuart and Tanya

Great villa in a great location

Had a lovely stay in this large villa which has a great location on the edge of the village so you will need a car. The indoor pool is a bonus not being effected by outdoor weather conditions. The covered outdoor seating / dining area was one of the most comfortable areas of it's type we have encountered .The villa owners were friendly and at hand if needed. Well worth a visit.

Pleasant and spacious villa near the coast in the North if the Island.

A very pleasant stay in a spacious villa only a mile or so from El Cotillo at the North of the island. 3 double bedrooms and one twin room. Spacious kitchen with large centre breakfast bar area. Lovely garden with a view of the distant sunset each evening. Renters should be aware the villa is at the rear (top) of El Roque) and is accessed via an unpaved, but firm, track. No problem in a regular car but take it slow! V friendly dogs next door, always there to greet you. Indoor pool with glass doors to garden. Cool (24 degrees) but you can pay a little extra to have it hotter. Tanya (owner) was very helpful.

Relaxing and pleasant holiday

Lovely, spacious villa within walking distance (about 30 minutes walk or 10 minutes drive) of the El Cotillo lagoons. Local large supermarket is about 10 minutes walk away in El Cotillo. Well stocked kitchen. Indoor pool was warm. When we had a problem with the TV the owner Stewart came round and fixed it straight away. Experienced a few minor maintenance related things (hence the four stars) which the owners are addressing.

Great villa in a great location

This is our second time at Villa Vista Cotillo with a third stay booked. For a party of 8 with two children there is plenty of space with good inside and outside places to chillout. Feels away from it all but is only a 10 minute car journey from El Cotillo which has a relaxed vibe, good restaurants and lots of beaches to choose from. We love Fuerte and this is a great place to stay with friendly, helpful owners.

Beautiful big villa in a beautiful location

Just returned from spending a week here there was 8 of us 5 adults 3 children and we all had a wonderful time. The villa is really spacious every things has been done to high spec and very clean, would recommend staying here, owner is lovely and friendly any questions we had were answered straight away couldnt be more helpful. Swimming pool is so refreshing and big enough for us all to have our inflatables in there . We are lookimg at coming back next year. If you are wanting to go away and have a relaxing time i highly recomend you go and stay here. Beautiful views of the sunset every evening, we even had a visit from some little lizards in the evening outside. 10 minutes from lots of lovely little restaurants and 25 mins from carelajo were there are lots of shops and beaches. 10/10 overall.

Lovely villa in a gorgeous location.

My Family and I have just had a fantastic holiday at this villa, it was so good I am already in the processing of booking to go back again for next year. Villa spotlessly clean and had everything you could need from a Holiday Home, with the added bonus of gorgeous views. Beautiful indoor heated pool and lovely outdoor seating area with plenty of sunbeds and a BBQ. Kids loved it and so did we! We will be back!!

Lovely villa in a lovely Location

Our party of 7 booked this lovely villa in March for some winter sunshine. The weather did not let us down. The village of El Roque was lovely, quiet with character, no bars or shops, which suited fine. The resort of ElCotillo is a very nice walk of about a mile but we hired bikes which meant we could get to the beaches, supermarket, harbour etc, easily. Well worth exploring the bike tracks around the coast line. The villa has 8 beds but the dining facilities only catered for 6 so we had to move chairs around. The twin bedded room was very small for adults with very little space for clothes. We loved the villa but just felt a little more effort was needed to cater for full capacity. Stuart was very helpful but it would have been nice to be greeted on arrival as we didn’t know what the rules were or where the water heater etc was, or even a book of information, however, we were left a very welcome bottle of wine, beers, milk and water so thank you for that. We would definitely recommend this villa and I do feel that Stuart and Tanya are trying to get things right, we asked for another sun bed and it was delivered the next day. El Cotillo is certainly a beautiful part of the island, quiet and unspoilt with lovely bays, even a great beach bar called Torino, well worth a visit for his garlic prawns and calamari. Great family retreat

Superb for adults and kids. Good relaxing space and swimming pool a treat for all. El Roque is tranquil and although windy compared to some other parts of the island, this offered a welcomed cooling from the heat. Good supermarket and town nearby. Stewart was very helpful with all our queries. If we came back to the island we would stay here again.

great get away from it all property

we all loved the location , fantastic views to the mountains and also of the sea. each morning a large herd of goats some with bells round their necks scrambled over the lava fields with many gamboling kids. The lagoons at nearby El Cotillo were perfect for our family swimming needs and very safe for the children

Spacious villa in quiet location.

Villa is huge with everything you need in a lovely part of Fuertaventura. Directions were a bit confusing as we arrived at night (so nobody to meet us) and hot water took a bit of sorting out but owner came to help. (I suggest they install a timer on the hot water so you don't need to keep remembering to turn it on/off).

Fabulous holiday home for a big group

Our big family party of 9 including 2 children booked this wonderful villa for 9 days over Xmas. Stewart and Tanya worked so hard setting up the villa for us with multiple beds, a larger dining table seating all 9and even left us a Xmas tree and decorations so that we could make it really Christmassy. All the rooms were huge and nicely furnished. The kitchen was great with plenty of worktops for all our cooking. The children loved the pool, the sliding doors are nice and heavy so impossible for a toddler to open and therefore very safe. The wifi (which we paid extra for) worked fine, there was a selection of DVDs and paperbacks to choose from. The village of El Roque is very quiet and safe, and quite close to El Cotillo which has plenty of shops, restaurants and beaches. We went surfing almost every day there, we also did the half hour Segway tour which all of us enjoyed tremendously. We went for a long day out to the caves at Ajuy, stopping at the Mirador morro velosa on the way and another day we went to see the huge sand dunes at Corralejo. All these were worth a visit. We did have two hire cars, the last 200 metres to the villa is a dirt track and the roads to the surf beaches are dirt tracks. Most hire car companies do not allow you to drive on the dirt tracks. We loved watching the herd of goats coming past every evening at sunset on their way home for milking. The children loved the neighbours dogs who lounge around out in the road and are very friendly when you return to the villa. We had a few minor problems most of which Stewart and Tanya sorted out, they were very helpful. There are a few maintenance issues which you have to live with such as no lights in the pool room so you can’t swim in the evenings and it gets dark about 6pm in December. We definitely had a fabulous time which we will always remember and maybe we’ll come back one day.

Just Perfect!

We feel extremely blessed to have found such a wonderful Villa for our family holiday that ticked every box ! Peace and quiet, spacious, fab indoor pool making it safe for our 13 month grandaughter, close to wonderful sandy beaches and lagoons, close to shops and great places to eat, complete luxury! Beautiful Villa - great location!

We have just returned from a fantastic 2 week stay in this beautiful villa and had to write a review to say how much we enjoyed it. The villa is very spacious, and with a group of 5 adults and a very large 13 year old, there was plenty of room for us all. The location is ideal - very private and quiet yet just a short drive from Cotillo with it's fine selection of bars and restaurant, and close enough to Corralejo that we visited on quite a few occasions. The Segway Tour in El Cotillo was the highlight of the holiday for the 'boys' in our group, and we booked the catamaran trip at Corralejo on Stuarts recommendation and that was definately my highlight. Lajares is also very close, and we found our favourite restuarant there (Canela Cafe). Stuart was very helpful with advice about the best activities etc in the area - unfortunately did not meet Tanya until we passed in the car as we were leaving El Roque on the way to the airport! The weather was fantastic for the full two weeks of our visit, very very hot, so the indoor pool was ideal, and the covered seating area was perfect - have to say though, if it wasn't for the delightful breezes which Fuerteventura is known for, it would have been unbearable! Only a couple of down-points though: We could get no TV signal at all - Stuart did try to remedy this, and suceeded but it didn't last for very long (this didn't bother us at all, as the only thing we really wanted to see was the football, and we then had an excuse to visit the Seahorse Sports Bar in El Cotillo!). The jacuzzi bath in the main ensuite bathroom is no longer there, which was a bit disappointing - Stuart and Tanya, you need to update your photos and description! The living room sofa - I see from a review done over a year ago that someone said it was propped up on bricks - it still is, and could really do with replacing! Cupboards in the bedrooms smelled a bit musty. The barbecue was virtually unusable as it looked dirty and rusted. The washing line outside is a bit decrepit and needs replacing. HOWEVER- be assured that to us these were minor things and none of them detracted at all from our enjoyment of the villa, and we had an absolutely fantastic time. If we decided to come back to Fuerteventura in the future we would definately look at booking this villa again!

amazing!! can't wait to go back!!

We stayed in this beautiful villa for our honeymoon and it was perfect the villa itself is amazing really well furnished and beds are comfy had everything we needed and more (travel adapter) great collection of dvd and cds but the pool was my favourite and the outside patio area is beautiful so quiet an peaceful the village el cotillo is lovely too great pizza place opposite the supermarket an a great British pub called the seahorse also find the ocean deli best food by far!! Tanya an Stuart are lovely nothing is too much trouble an they really make you feel welcome (thank you for our champagne ☺) villa is close to other villages making exploring alot easier. we're so glad we stayed here couldn't have asked for a better place to enjoy our honeymoon xxx

Wonderful Place, Lovely People!!!

This Villa is beautiful, a little lived in i.e. some of the windows and doors do not open and not all the blinds work, plus the drain cover in the main shower comes away... HOWEVER, these are all tiny, tiny details and things that Stewart and Tanya are honest about from the beginning when showing you around!!! None of this takes anything away from this property - it is beautiful, spacious, has everything that you need and more, and is just outside Cotillo in a fantastic location, so quiet and picturesque. The villa is also clean, with beautiful natural plants outside. I personally wasn't a fan of the pool being indoors as love the sun too much, but the kids loved it and spent every available minute in it. The patio area is stunning and so relaxing after a day's exploring of the island... So much so, my son and I slept out there every single night as we were so hot indoors!!! As a family, we ended most evening sitting out there with a bed time drink and cuddles :-) As well as being a 3 minute drive from Cotillo, the villa is only 20 minutes from Corralejo, 15 minutes from the center of La Oliva and only 40 minutes from the Airport. The owners, Tanya and Stewart are lovely people, they met us on arrival and showed us around the place, visited twice to water the plants and saved us from the Sand Dunes after our car got stuck there - there was no need for them to do this, we just wanted them to call the car rental place as we couldn't get through, but instead they drove down in their Pick Up and pulled us out... They were also at the end of the phone / text all week without complaint. In Summary, beautiful location, stunning villa and lovely people - if we ever visit the island again, Stewart and Tanya will be our first point of enquiry - Thank you again for letting us rent the villa at Cotilla and thank you so much for your help at Corralejo, finally, sorry about the egg sandwiches - Sonya was running late and forgot to grab them on the way out of the door :-S

What more could you want

Just returned from a wonderful months holiday at this villa. The villa is clean quiet and well equipped. The outside seating area is wonderful you can sit and watch the animal life in a really peaceful setting plus in the evening watching the sunset over the sea in El Cotillo is stunning.and the clear starry skies are magical. The owners Tanya and Stuart and their son Jordan are really lovely people offering advice and help where necessary. Unfortunately on this holiday I had to attend the hospital in Puerto del Rosario Tanya was so helpful and gave us directions and advice plus brought me a box of chocolates to aid my recovery which was really appreciated.. There is everything you need at the villa with loads of space plus of course the wonderful indoor pool and sun loungers on the patio. We will certainly be returning next year.

Home from Home

Last month me and my family stayed at this luxury villa. It was really clean, spacious and modern with everything that we needed. The views and the garden were stunning. The Wi-Fi acsess was cheap and really usefull for staying connected. Tanya and Stewart were really helpfull in recommending the best places to go. We all really enjoyed the heated indoor swimming pool and the children spent most of their holiday playing around inside while we relaxed outside in the beautiful sunshine..The quality of the fixtures and fittings was very high and it really felt like home from home.We had a wondefull family holiday here and definalty recomend it.
