Very good apartment. Clean on arrival. Welcome cleaning kit and snacks very much appreciated. Some minor issues that need dealing with. Owner informed The negative side was there was no pool to use as advertised. Tennis club membership expired when got there. Beach club pool 30 euros per day each was not affordable and was always full. Otherwise lovely place and area to stay in. Beaches and local shop are walkable but too far in the heat. Ubers excellent.

Beautiful place!

This was our second time staying at this apartment. First in 2018. Still a lovely apartment with basics provided - toilet roll, washing up liquid etc. Great location too being a short walk from the tennis club and bout 20 minutes from the beach. Owner had great communication and recommendations for us. We loved it!

first class appartment

This is a first class apartment in a luxury resort. Accomodation arrangements were very smooth and Andrew normally responds immediately-all facilities are exactly as described.TV EXCELLENT AS WAS WI FI.You are given membership of the Tennis Club which has a pool and restaraunt for basic meals.The beachfront PRACA has classier restaraunts but a bit pricier.UBERS are reliable and cheap although you can walk to nearest Supermarket which is very reasonable and well stocked.Recomend going to one of sea front bars/restaraunts views are stunning.For the transfer Andrew will recomend YELLOWFISH TRANSFERS-TO/FROM AIRPORT-BOOK THEM THEY ARE EXCELLENT.

Winter break

The apartment was comfortable and being January/February the heating was a must. Although the apartment was abit care worn, there was everything we could need and more to make it a home from home experience. Just a little grouch, the settee was very low to the floor and being tall, it was rather uncomfortable to sit on and get out of. We found the apartments location good for getting about easily but you do need a car. The excellent local supermarket only 5 minutes away , Quinta shopping and restaurants 8 minutes and several beaches nearby. Loule Velho is our favourite. Since we wanted a winter get away we were pleased that we chose Vale do Lobo, it is quiet and residential. We would like to visit again.

Nice apartment in a good location

The property is nicely decorated and the tv is brilliant as you have sky kids channels for the early morning risers. Nice kitchen and interiors. Would say that there could be an update on kitchen utensils and some mattress toppers to make it perfect. Overall a very nice stay and great communication with the owner.

During our stay we experienced a series of issues - screeching pipes in the main bathroom waking us up three separate times in the middle of the night, no air con or windows in second bedroom, poor security as patio doors not fully lockable and no corkscrew in the kitchen! The management company and owner resolved the pipe issue after complaining but we will not be returning to this apartment again.

I stayed in this apartment in late January and it was a really lovely apartment in a fabulous location in Vale Do Lobo. Great place to stay if playing golf, close to supermarkets, the beach and Vilamoura. Nice and clean, well equiped, good wifi and Sky Sports was an added bonus!

Not as expected!

Firstly let me say this is Vale do Lobo an exclusive expensive area I have been visiting for 25 years. While the apartment has been modernised it is of an old style Portuguese build so small dark rooms. We were going to try it for future reference for our children and grandchildren as a cheaper option.Unfortunately the apartment had not been cleaned on our arrival and we decided not to stay. A lot of walking is required to the beach and main swimming pool in the pictures (20/25 mins each way with kids especially ).If a cheap place to get your head down is all you require (ideal for golfers) then it is great but otherwise pay more and stay nearer the beach.

Every aspect of this booking has been high quality. From start to finish Andrew could not have been more helpful. The apartment was perfect.

Andrew’s apartment was well located in the centre off Vale do Lobo near to the tennis centre and golf clubhouse. It was refurbished to a high standard and had all modern conveniences PLUS Wi-fi, full U.K. tv channels including Sky Sports, BT Sport and Eurosport! So you needn’t miss a thing. It was very clean and had good showers and heating. Can’t ask for more!!

Great location but accommodation needs work

The property was in a good location to reach all amenities on foot. Vale do Lobo is a brilliant resort. The accommodation however wasn’t what we expected. The cleanliness and linen freshness were not great, there was an smell of damp in the bedrooms from the linen, there was a lot of dust on surfaces and the bathroom tiles were very water marked. The outside patio was particularly dirty, tiles were stained and extremely sandy and there are lots of broken tiles around the edge. It’s not suitable for a family of 4 as there is only one single size cupboard for hanging and one chest of drawers. The 2nd bedroom only has room for 2 single beds and there is no outside window (think it’s been converted from kitchen or a large cupboard). We went in the winter and there was nowhere to eat as a family as the only table was outside and there are only 3 stools inside to use at the kitchen counter. 3 stars given rather than 2 due to the fact the cost to rent was reasonable.

Great Location. Modern apartment.

Spacious, clean and modern. Kitchen well equipped but could do with more tupperware and newer pans. Internet was slow and abit unreliable but did not need it much. Would definitely recommend.

Awesome Property

My family has just returned from a weeks stay at this property in Vale Do Lobo. The apartment is fantastic, well kept, comfortable, and in a great location. The owner has extremely helpful throughout the booking and provided some great restaurant recommendations. I would STRONGLY recommend this property for either a romantic getaway, or a great break with the family.

A perfect family holiday in a stunning resort

We have just returned from a fantastic stay in a beautiful apartment in the resort of Vale de Lobo. The apartment was perfect for our family with two children aged 3 and 6. It is a lovely apartment with a nice terrace area , air conditioning TV and all essential kitchen things. Andrew the owner was extremely helpful with any queries prior to the holiday and always returned emails immediately. The resort was perfect for our family as there is a lovely beach and two beautiful swimming pools to choose from as well as tennis courts and restaurants. We particularly enjoyed The Creperie! It was our first time to Portugal and will definitely come back to this resort! Many thanks !

Very clean property,aircon works effectively but second bedroom is very clostrophobic and i would not have booked for my mother if the picture shown in advert had been taken from outside the room. If the bathroom to the Non en suite had been in the main bedroom it would have been better,as en suite bath/toilet is a tad small. As in another review the sun is only on terrace until midday,on the plus side there are passes for pool area at Tennnis club,and note terrace is not private,and my mother could not use sunloungers as to low. And lastly sleeping in main bedroom is outside a road which has a rumble strip and can be noisy at times. Restaurants and bars are nearby but a car i would say is essential. Overall comfortable stay.

Very nice break

Had a lovely stay at this apartment, very clean and modern. Wouldn't hesitate to book again. Vale do Lobo is a lovel place and right next to the equally impressive Quinta do Lago...would certainly advise to book a car to get around the Algarve.

Poor

RESORT: Nice enough resort but far too sterile for our liking. Much of the resort facilities were closed (no mention before arrival or at time of booking) and lots of building work going on in adjoining apartments didn't make for a restful stay as works often started before 8am each morning. In terms of food, the majority of eatery options catered for English tastes with no real Portugese food on offerings. APARTMENT: Pleasant enough on initial arrival but I have left covered in what looks like bed bug bites and am off to the Doctor tomorrow to resolve, cleaning left a lot to be desired, old poor quality towels, stains on mattresses, bed linen would have been far nicer if it had been cotton rather than poly cotton and man made fibres and lacking aforementioned critters. Finally, sun lovers beware but the orientation of terrace meant it got little sun!
