About this property

Finca Buenavista is a 200 year old restored Canarian farmhouse. It has breathtaking coastal views of the South of Tenerife including Los Christianos and Playa De Las Americas. It is set in a peaceful 4000 metre plot near the pretty Spanish village of Arona with all local amenities including supermarket, chemist, post office bank a few bars and restaurants. Yet it is only 15 minutes drive to the coast with its many beaches as well as bars, restaurants and shops and choice of recreational activities including the famous Siam waterpark.There is a twin and double with shared bathroom on the ground floor and a twin and master bedroom on the first floor with a shared shower room. The house is surrounded by a beautifully landscaped garden with pool, table tennis table, barbecue area and covered pergola with seating for 8 as well as a fire pit for cooler evenings. The house even has its own cave.

Great villa!

Villa had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. Very clean and well equipped. Views were amazing and the local bakery sells delicious pastries. Jim was incredibly helpful when we arrived, I’m sure we’ll be back again! Thank you Julie for a wonderful stay

Excellent location and host

We had a week of fabulous weather and super excursions. The house is as descibed in a super location up in the mountain with a fantastic view and equipped with all necessary amenities. The host Jim is very helpful and super friendly. All in all a superb vacation.

Excellent stay

This property is absolutely stunning. It's a view you'd never get tired of looking at, and the grounds are wonderfully maintained gardens and spaces, across multiple levels. My three year old loved exploring for pine cones to put on the fire pit.Inside it's a similar story, big open spaces, everything you'd want and need and very secure with an alarm and cameras.The location is fantastic, arona is a beautiful village, the walk to and from is great (I don't advise doing it with prams!!) and the aroma cafe was particularly great, we visited most days. There's also a park there for little ones.It's conveniently located near Los christianos, PDL Americas and Adeje, we visited them all. Worth bearing in mind that the weather up in the villa is vastly different than down there, but we did travel in March, so expected it.

Away from it all villa

Stunning villa. Great communication, Jim very welcoming. Had an abundance of crockery, cooking utensils etc. Car absolutely essential as its quite a challenging walk to Aerona(very steep) If its an away from it all holiday you want then this is definitely the villa for you.

Beatiful Villa with a great view

The Villa with the pool was amazing, thank you very much Julie. The manager on side was also great, when we need him, he was on the object in less than 10 minutes. The view from the house is great. Everything was really great.

Lovely secluded property, perfect for a family get-away

The house is very much as described in the listing. It is spacious inside and out, has all of the facilities you need for a great stay. There is plenty of outside space around the pool and gardens which made it perfect for family BBQs. The location is quite remote and taxis into the resort areas are not cheap. We had a good balance of Tim in the property and trips into town

Family or large group villa. Mountain setting.

Beautiful spacious villa offering outdoor heated pool. Completely private in picturesque surroundings. Our family group of teens and adults spent the perfect holiday here. Just the treat we all so deserved. Communications were never too difficult. Jim made every effort to help us settle. The location is stunning. Recommend a confident driver in the party and a car hire or use cabs. Only draw back was it wasn't really walking distance to restaurants but that wasn't a problem for us. Recommend booking, one not to miss, we would definitely return. Thanks Julie the owner and Jim for all the tips and help.

Beautiful house, scalding water not able to shower

The house location is wonderful. However we had ongoing issues with hot water which was scalding all the time and there was no cold water. This was an issue with previous booking according to manager who didn’t readily attend to sort the problem out and in some cases attended the next day leaving us without facility to shower. This stress ruined our holiday

Stunning location!!!

The house is in a private and very peaceful location but handy for roads leading to the coast and up into the mountains. The gardens are a real delight with all sorts of beautiful plants and there's a stunning view down to the coast from the terrace. We enjoyed watching the lizards popping up around the garden. We made good use of the pool. The beds were comfortable, the house was well-equipped. There's even Netflix on the TV.... Arrival was very smooth, Jim met us at the petrol station in Arona to show us the way. Jim lives locally and is available if there are any problems - which there weren't! Certainly will come here again.

VERY HAPPY

Beautiful villa in a stunning setting. Quite remote so do need a car - but perfect for us as could relax at the villa or drive to good choice of beaches within 15- 20 mins drive. Also very close to Siam Park which was amazing. Pool a little cold but this was expected as middle of winter. But we braved it when sun was shining and wind abated. Many thanks to Jim, who manages the property. He was amazing meeting us after 11pm; showing us around the villa and explaining all about the best of the island. Overall a beautiful ‘home from home’ - we will most definitely be back!

Tolles Haus mit grandioser Sicht

Ein wirklich toll und liebevoll gemachtes Haus mit schönem Garten und tollem Pool. Die Aussicht ist super. Fahrt zum Strand ungefähr 12 min. Es liegt doch auf einer gewissen Höhe, bei uns im Dezember waren es am Haus immer so 8 Grad weniger wie am Strand. Insgesamt werden wir erneut buchen, mit kleinem Kind aufgrund der Temperatur aber doch eher von März bis Oktober.

Traumhafter Urlaub

Das Haus und das Grundstück sind genau wie auf den Fotos abgebildet . Wir verbrachten einen wunderschönen Urlaub dort. Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Lage, aber trotzdem ist man relativ schnell an der Küste. Im nahe gelegenen Arona gibt es eine wunderbare Bäckerei (Café Aroma). Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Teneriffa Urlaub 2024

Wir (2 Familien / 7 Personen) waren 10 Tage im Haus. Es hat alles super funktioniert. Die Finca liegt am Berg etwas außerhalb. Wer gerne Ruhe liebt und entspannen möchte ist hier richtig. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, ideal für zwei Familien. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Pool und Garten sind ebenfalls gepflegt. Ansprechpartner vor Ort ist vorhanden. Alles entspricht den Online Inserat.

Perfekt für Familienurlaub fern vom Trubel

Perfekter Ort um zu entspannen und mit dem Mietwagen die Insel zu erkunden. Wir waren als achtköpfige Familie hier und würden allesamt wieder diese tolle Finca buchen. Danke Julie und danke Jim!!

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus

Die Anreise und das Timing mit Jim, dem Manager klappte perfekt.Die vorher reservierten Badetücher lagen bereit. Wir könnten den Pool leider nur sehr eingeschränkt benutzen, da es für diese Höhe (ist schon richtig weit am Berg oben) für Juni zu kühl war. Beim Draußen sitzen brauchte man immer eine Jacke. Im Schlafzimmer waren leider sehr viele lange blonde Haare auf dem Boden. Da hat wohl die Reinigung vergessen Staub zu wischen. Die Küche ist gut bestückt und auch sonst fehlt es an nichts. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und im Bad gibt's genug Ablageflächen.

Villa au calme avec vue magnifique sur la mer et les montagnes

Excellent séjour dans cette grande villa parfaite pour 8 personnes, tant intérieurement qu’extérieurement. L’accueil avec Jim s’est super bien passé, tout nous a été expliqué pour passer un parfait séjour. La vue est incroyable, la piscine est parfaite pour le séjour.

Traumhafter Urlaub

Wir sind am Abend mit unserem Mitwagen dort angekommen. Das Auto soll bisschen PS haben, denn da gibts steile Passagen :-) Der wunderbare Jim hat uns eingewiesen und von innen sah das Häuschen super aus. Als am nächsten Morgen die Sonne aufging, war ich von der wunderschönen Ausblick von unserer Terrasse aus überwältigt. So herrlich und im Westen war der Conde zu sehen. Der Pool lud uns immer zum Baden ein! Wir hatten von Mitte bis Ende Oktober an unserem Häuschen ca. 23 Grad, sehr angenehm, unten am Strand waren es 27-30 Grad. Wir hatten kaum Mücken und die Nächte waren sehr angenehm. Die Kommunikation mit Jim war immer super. Also ich kann das Haus, die Lage und den Vermieter nur wärmstes weiterempfehlen!!!!

Mooie accomodatie met een prachtige ligging

Ligt afgelegen en rustig, heeft een prachtig zicht op de steden Las Christianos en Las Americas, maar toch maar 15 minuutjes verwijderd van het strand. Het huis biedt quasi alles wat nodig is om een fijn verblijf te hebben. Jim heeft ons zeer goed opgevangen en verder op alle vragen ingegaan. Top!!

Tolle und ruhige Lage!!

Es war alles super. Die Kommunikation vorher mit Julie wie auch die vor Ort Betreuung von Jim haben 5 Sterne verdient. Lediglich die wlan Ausleuchtung ( wirklich nur im Wohnzimmer nutzbar ) ist ohne eigenen Hotspot und Datenvolumen nicht so gut und ein paar Möbel draußen sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Ist aber alles kein Problem. Es gibt auch im Garten eine Kühl und Gefrierkombi. Gerade für Getränke und wenn man mit 6 Personen oder mehr dort ist, ein echter Vorteil. Pool und Gartenanlage sind top gepflegt. Wir würden es immer wieder machen. Ein toller Urlaub.

Tolle Finca in ausgezeichneter Lage

Die Finca ist sehr gut gelegen auf der sonnigen Südseite der Insel. Der Pool und die Außenanlage sind grandios. Durch die Höhe ist es etwas kälter als im Tal, was uns sehr entgegen kam. Man hat stets einen traumhaften Ausblick ins Tal. Unser Kontakt vor Ort (Jim) war stets ansprechbar und sehr nett sowie zuverlässig, ebenso wie die Besitzerin Julie. Insgesamt eine schöne Villa die zum Erkunden der Insel einlädt. Wir haben unsere Zeit genossen und ich kann das Haus nur weiterempfehlen. Wenn man mich fragen würde, was man verbessern könnte, dann würde mir lediglich eine bessere wifi-Ausleuchtung des Anwesens einfallen, und vielleicht eine nötige ordentliche Entkalkung der Badezimmerarmaturen sowie ggf. die Erneuerung der Tischtennisplatte, die schon etwas durchhängt. Aber alles Jammern auf hohem Niveau.

What an amazing Finca, as previous reviews have mentioned the views are breathtaking, spacious accommodation, amazing gardens with multiple seating areas to soak up the sun and views. Very comfortable beds and quiet location what more could you ask for?

Top-Adresse!

Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen und können diese Ferienwohnung wärmstens empfehlen! Die Kommunikation war vorbildlich. Toll war auch, dass man mit dem Manager der Ferienwohnung (Jim) jederzeit einen kompetenten und hilfsbereiten Ansprechpartner vor Ort hatte.

We live in Oxford, England . We moved back here after living for 5 years in Tenerife, where we renovated our property. We were only planning to go for 2 years!, but we loved the island so much, the fantastic climate, outdoor lifestyle, Spanish way of life and it was great for the kids who can now sail and surf.

Why they chose this property

We were looking for an exciting project to renovate and this ticked all the boxes. Even though it needed work it had the most amazing dramatic views all along the Southern coastline. It is over 200 years old , built from volcanic rock and was originally a chapel. The location was important for us too, we wanted to be in the countryside but close enough to the beaches and restaurants and the beautiful village of Arona is close by.
