About this property

This beautiful 2 bedroom apartment is situated on the top floor of the Manoir Savoie building located in the heart of the superb, newly developed, car-free resort of Arc 1950. It has been updated with new lighting and kitchen fittings together with 'reclaimed' wood cladding and has recently been awarded with the Christaux Paradiski 4-star classification for high quality accommodation. Two large balconies facing South and East offer views towards the impressive peak of Aiguille Rouge and snow covered pistes. The apartment offers excellent direct access to the pistes, as well as a good choice of quality shops, restaurants and bars. Facilities include underground parking, outdoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam/sauna rooms and gym. The resort has been beautifully designed and built in wood and stone, Savoyard style.
Please Note: THIS NEW YEAR (2023-24) we are letting the apartment from Thursday 28th Dec- Thursday 4th Jan 2024, enabling guests to travel away from the weekend and avoid holiday traffic!

Great location, everything you need for a great week in Les Arcs

A great week, so easy with underground carpark straight up lift to apartment, quick walk through corridors to ski locker and out to slopes, and lovely central location in a gorgeous ski resort, where you can quickly find ski rental options, well stocked supermarket, yummy bakery and lots of eateries! One of the best places we’ve stayed at in the Alps

Fantastic accommodation and location

We have just returned from a 10 day stay at this stunning apartment in 1950. Property was beautifully decorated, stylish and had everything you needed. Wood burner was perfect for the cold evenings. Great location a perfect family holiday. We will be back!

Second time staying here!

After our first positive experience of staying here last year, we decided to rebook for an Easter skiing break in 2023. The apartment is still in top quality condition and has had some nice improvements made to both bathrooms. The location (ski in / ski out) is fantastic for the Les Arcs ski area and with a bit of effort you can be skiing in La Plagne by 10 am. The hotel ski room takes a bit of getting used to as it’s quite small but once you’ve figured that out, everything is about as good as it can be. Will definitely consider again for future trips to Les Arcs.

Amazing village, great location, beautiful apartment.

The apartment is beautifully decorated with everything you need an more in the kitchen. High ceiling in the living room and two balconies, cosy bedrooms. The downside is there isn't a bathtub, so can be inconvenient for small children and one of the bedrooms has terrible drought coming from between the wooden boazerie. Close to everything, a real ski in ski out location. The pool complex isn't great for small children (water was rather chilly) but the adults will like the saunas. Very good communication with the owner, who is very helpful and responsive. We will be rebooking the same place for next year! ;-)

High quality apartment, great location

Lovely apartment in very good condition - very clean and with good quality fixtures and fittings. Four of us stayed which was the right number - 6 would be a squeeze. We didn’t use the pool area so don’t know what that is like. The apartment block is very good, easy underground parking and right on the main pedestrianised street. Real ski in, ski out from the ski locker room. The owner’s communication was exceleenet - prompt replies to our questions. All in all a very recommended ski apartment.

Excellent apartment in premier block in the 5 star resort of Les Arcs 1950.

Great Apartment, in excellent block, great location for ski in/out. Apartment is furnished to a high standard and is a fantastic place to relax after a good days skiing. The block has a outdoor pool and jacuzzi pool and saunas and a connecting restaurant for those who prefer a week off domestic duties.

Really nice apartment in excellent ski in, ski out location

We had a really lovely week in Les Arcs staying in this well equipped and comfortable apartment. There were four of us so we only needed to use the two bedrooms and didn’t need the sofa bed. There was plenty of space for us and the apartment is furnished to a high standard. The kitchen facilities are more than sufficient for breakfasts and evening meals and the wood burner meant we had several evenings in front of the fire with a bottle of wine. There’s also lots of storage space in the apartment for all the skiing gear. We drove so made use of the underground parking as well as the included ski locker and outdoor swimming pool with great views down the valley to mont blanc. Would definitely stay here again in future. Stephen is a great host and answered all our questions really quickly as we prepared for our stay.

Amazing location

We loved our stay here! Fit 4 adults happily, we enjoyed eating in so much we ate in most nights. Used the steam room, sauna, jacuzzi and even the outside pool in a snowstorm! It’s ski to door (once you’ve learnt the route) and such a beautiful environment. Couldn’t fault it really!

Beautiful, well equipped apartment, perfectly located!

We stayed in this apartment for a week - me, my husband and our two children - and it was perfect! The apartment is decorated beautifully with some really lovely finishing touches. There was everything we needed, the kitchen in particular was very well equipped, and even the balcony was usable - at a time when all others in the village were off limits! We had a fantastic view of the mountain rescue helicopter taking off and coming in to land more than once, which the children found very exciting! Yet the apartment was peaceful and quiet, situated away from the hussle and bustle of the main village. We love Arc 1950 and will definitely be returning to this apartment if it’s available next time we go! We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone planning a trip to 1950

Great modern apartment very cosy with the added bonus of a fire

4 adults stopped in this glorious apartment the last week of January .The place is in the centre of 1950 overlooking the mountains it is decorated light and modern on the top floor with lift good size rooms and well equipped kitchen ,ski in ski out boot room close to all restraunts and bars,but peaceful we never heard any noise. would love to stay again,kitchen could do with microwave ,thanks loved it ,charlie King Leeds

Comfortable and stylish apartment in Arc 1950.

Well located apartment in a quality complex. The apartment is clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen for those nights you eat in. A Charming Winter Retreat - Highly Recommended!

The apartment is fabulous! It is warm, cosy and tastefully decorated - a charming winter retreat. We felt like we were renting an apartment from close friends who really cared that we had everything at our disposal. The kitchen was clean and perfectly equipped, the TV and radio were of great quality and the wifi was good. Everything in the bathrooms and bedrooms was perfect. Communication with the owners (Stephen & Sarah) was great. To summarise, we could not have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this property and its owners.

Perfect location, beautiful apartment and enough skiing for a month.

The 3 of us stayed for a week in early March 2016 and have to say the apartment is one of the best places we have stayed in the Alps. Arc 1950 is a perfect ski in ski out location with great local amenities and in building services. The apartment itself is beautifully presented and is perfect for a relax after a long day of skiing. The included pool, hot tub and sauna/steam room on the ground floor are extra additions that no ski holiday could be without. Stephen was very helpful from the moment we made our booking right up to and past our arrival date and it completely took any stress out of the planning process. We will certainly be looking to return again in the future. Highly recommended!

One of the best ski apartments I've stayed at

The property is ideally situated for all the local amenities and also the ski runs as well as the bubble to Arcs 2000. It is extremely well equipped and having 2 bathrooms is a real bonus. The use of the pool/sauna/steam room in the basement is also great - but do choose your time to go as it can get busy late afternoon/early evening. The double bed is a little bouncy but the skiing assertions soon send you to sleep. Will definitely be back.

Great place!

Really impressed with this well designed, comfortable and quiet apartment, in a very central spot in the village. With two small children, it means we eat in a lot, and in this apartment we found all the equipment that we needed in the kitchen which made life so much easier. Because it is part of the Radisson village, there were some nice hotel-touches to our self-catering stay - towels, robes and toiletries, and a really helpful concierge and baggage storage facility. We were lucky with the snow this April, and found it really easy to get around the resort which was practically ski-in, ski-out (for the more confident skiers in our party). We didn't have a car, we travelled by train and transfers were really easy to sort out. I was worried that we might need a car, but we didn't and the shops and restaurants in the village catered for everything we needed. We would love to come again!

Finally...

Finally a fairly priced, well appointed and spacious apartment to complete a good all round ski holiday. The owners are quick to respond to queries, and the little touches left by the cleaning company go a long way to making us welcome. Pretty much everything you need in the kitchen for self catering. Abundance of bathroom towels. We would definitely book again.

Stephen and Sarah Street. We love being in the mountains and took the leap into owning an apartment here in Arc 1950 after seeing how beautiful and plentiful the skiing is in the Les Arcs/ Paradiski area.

Why they chose this property

We have privately owned the apartment since purchase and opted out of leasing the property back to P&V who manage the building. This enabled us to upgrade certain furnishings to our own taste thus adding a sense of 'exclusivity' to the accommodation. We also opted for a top floor apartment in a quiet part of the building with wonderful views from two separate balconies.

What makes this property unique

The quality of the design of the Arc 1950 village is way above other developments in the area. The village is incredibly 'family friendly' with absolutely no road traffic (all cars are parked underground).
