Very easy checkin. Cottage very clean and tidy. Had a very good weekend. Warm and cosy. With our stay being at the end of September and the weather not so good the log burning stove was a luxury. We had a brilliant happy family weekend in a very welcoming cottage.
We received a warm welcome from our lovely hosts, including a delicious lemon drizzle cake! The cottage was homely, comfy, clean and spacious with good parking. The location was close to country/woodland walks and a short drive to several bays and beaches and other places of interest. It was a quiet and peaceful retreat and we would happily recommend it to others.
We had a wonderful stay. Everything was superb. The cottage was beautiful, well equipped and clean. The beds were extremely comfortable and we all slept well. The owners were so friendly, helpful and thoughtful - we all enjoyed getting to know them.
The gardens were a joy to be in and we spent time outside enjoying the beautiful countryside views. We would highly recommend this property. Thanks again!
Perfect base to explore Anglesey. Very relaxing and quiet location. Owners super friendly and the welcome cake was super tasty. Cottage has everything needed and is a proper home from home.
What a truly wonderful place to stay. The cottage is extremely comfortable and has so much character. Jeni and Mike were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. Would highly recommend for short and longer breaks if you want to experience peace and tranquility.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The property is very clean, comfortable and spacious.
We found it perfectly positioned for all areas we planned to visit and Jeni and Mick are very friendly owners who are only to pleased to help.
We would stay again in a heartbeat.
The property was as described- full of character and was fully loaded with all the things you normally need to purchase on arrival ( toilet paper, washing up liquid, soap, even logs for the fire. The hosts live across the yard but were never intrusive and extremely helpful. The fact its dog friendly was a real bonus and Anglesey offers so much that you could spend the whole vacation there, although we ventured to Caernarfon when the weather was not so good. All in all a lovelyt break

Honest review
Excellent communication with owners. We misjudged how long the journey would take as it was the sat before Xmas & arrived 2 hours earlier than allowed to find the property locked & no one around, luckily within 10 mins a lady arrived & let us in.
Beautiful cottage, very tastefully & comfortably furnished. Everything needed to be able to cater for ourselves for Xmas. Lots of hot water, very nice shower (water pressure a bit rubbish)
Comfy beds, chocolates & mince pies waiting for us, nicely decorated for Xmas, earned the wifi was not great but perfectly adequate for our stay.
The central heating was on but we where cold throughout the stay, 1 basket of logs left which went quickly & the cost of more logs was £11 a bag in the only place we could find them, sure this would not be an issue in warmer months. The shower room was located downstairs in a type of extension which had no heating & a stable door which was very drafty, the top of which blew open several times in the high winds.
Nice garden area, however we believed this to be dog friendly & enclosed, not at all & our dogs ran up the road, very stressful.
Upstairs bedrooms & bathroom very nice however in order to reach the bathroom you had to walk through the double bedroom, also no locks on bathroom & shower room doors.
The owners communication stated that check in was from 4pm & check out by 10 am due to them doing a deep clean. We found the cottage to be very dusty & lots of cobwebs. However we enjoyed our stay
Great location for a get away weekend from everything. Well equipped cottage with cake on arrival. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely go back again. Ideal for visiting some of my old friends on the island
A lovely old property in a central location with easy access to all parts of Anglesey. The owners, Jenni and Mick, live close by and are available if needed. Both are very friendly and helpful. We would be happy to return for a future stay.
Beautiful old cottage in a great location. Loads of room, and we enjoyed cosy evenings in front of a roaring log burner. Jeni and Mick were great hosts. Not intrusive in any way, but very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!
We had a lovely stay and enjoyed driving around the surrounding area .The cottage was lovely and warm and the beds nice and comfy .we were made to feel very welcome by the owners
A lovely quaint cottage in a very quiet location but not too far from beaches etc
Owned by a lovely very friendly helpful couple.
The only issue was that it was a little tired and musty and needs some updating and it wasn’t as clean as we would have liked, although after we had rectified this ourselves it didn’t spoil our stay.
Cosy country cottage. Everything we needed. Nice touches included homemade cake, fresh flowers, logs for wood burner. Enclosed garden. Ideal location for walks straight from property. Ample space inside. Upstairs main bedroom is particularly nice; with large ensuite.
