Fabulous Duplex with Sea, Pool & Garden Views - 2 min walk from beach

Beachside large duplex apartment for a family in a quiet development, only 2 min walk from the beach with excellent chiringuitos (restaurants on the beach!!) and the beautiful wood sidewalk on the beach. Great sidewalk for family walks and also for children who can use rollers, bikes and strollers.). All bedrooms are air conditioned and a mobile air conditioner is provided for the living room. Sea views from both terraces and from master bedroom. Large balcony with sea, garden and pool views, adjacent to the renovated living room and dining room. In the terrace, there are furniture including sofas, coffee table and a small barbecue. Living room and dining area completely renovated with tasteful contemporary furniture including a large sofa, chairs and smart rotative TV (Netflix and hundreds of channels available). One master bedroom with sea view with its own bathroom with bath and WC (bathroom not yet renovated). Two further double bedrooms both with 2 x single beds (can be put together to make it one large bed). Ground bathroom with shower and WC completely renovated. This new bathroom is adjacent to the ground floor bedroom. Fully equipped kitchen, with a new induction stove and a new oven. A nice large pool completely renovated and beautiful manicured grounds. Peaceful location yet within walking distance of all amenities (5 min walk from 2 large supermarkets, many bars, restaurants. Car not essential. A baby cot available and free WIFI (fiber). The house is very peaceful and the view on the garden, pool and sea is just stunning.

Lovely location and responsive host

We enjoyed a lovely week in this apartment. It comfortably accommodated 6 adults and is ideally located for Dona Lola and the boardwalk. The beach is just 200 yards, it was quiet and peaceful. When we had a small problem with the air conditioning in one room, the host was very helpful and responsive.

Family holiday

We stayed here for a family holiday, it was perfect. A two min walk to the beach with bars and restaurants and another short walk to the supermarket. Communication with the owner was brilliant she responded very quickly. Would recommend for families and would def return

Big birthday bash

The property was fabulous the only thing that was a problem were the steps andvthe stairs within as some of us older ladies struggled with cases etc., but the apartment is beautiful and spacious! Yes it needs updating in areas but it wasnt a problem and is very well equipped. Plenty of hot water. We did have to use the washing machine quite a lot as there were 4 of us ladies bathing and hairwashing. So good to be able to keep towels fresh. Lots of balcony space for sunning ourselves and lots of seating indoors. Good location but a bit of a walk for bars etc. Taxis into La cala etc reasonable. Good selection of beach bars too. We had a great stay and would recommend.

Beautiful stay in this stunning apartment Fully equipped Large & spacious Spotlessly clean Short walk to the beach Pool lovely children had it to themselves most of the stay Had some lovely meals out Shops a little further than a 5 minute walk & along a very busy carriageway - 2 children in tow (they may have been a shortcut ) A email with information was sent but felt a little booklet of information in apartment would of been a nice touch regarding bus times / places of interest ect Would re book again

Great property and good location

Property was 3 bedrooms. Really spacious esp the living area and terrace. Some of the property needs updating but we knew that as it was clear on the advert, didn’t make a difference to our stay though. Beds were comfy, showers were good, aircon in bedrooms was great - It was so hot air on in the living area would be a good addition. Pool was nice and clean, you did have to walk round to the gate to get to it but this was fine. Beach a couple of minutes walk away. With sun beds and a restaurant 5 minutes away with kayaks etc. Great comms from the owner - would def visit again! Gino and Stella’s near Mercadona was a last night find, lovely food and a reasonable price!

Great size

The apartment was a great size. The downstairs bathroom and bedroom was fine but the rest of the apartment showing signs of aging and needs updating. The complex was lovely and had a great view over the pool. Needs some sort of cooling system in the lounge.

Can’t wait to come again

Beautiful apartment, more than enough space with everything you could possibly need in it. Pool and garden amazing, very well kept. Loved waking up to the beautiful views. Usually we hire a car but was not necessary as everything is in walking distance. 2 min walk to the beach, shops and restaurants just a short walk away which we really enjoyed walking to. The beach’s have bars which serve incredible food too. Fantastic communication with the owner Myriem. We as a family would love to come back here, we felt so comfortable and content in this apartment during our stay. Thank you so much!

Great location and space

The apartment was in a great location for the beach and shops and some great restaurants nearby. Has everything in the area you need for a family holiday. Apartment was nice and is in the stages of being modernised by the owner with already substantial improvements evidently been carried out. The gardens and Swimming pool are safe and beautifully cared for.

Great place

We have stayed in the appt. in 3 weeks, grand parents, parents and grand children, 2 and 5 years. We all loved it, but we do agree with some Of the earlier mentioned issues. The appt. needs a general cleaning, the washing machine and vacuum cleaner was not working properly etc. Good to know that you also have to use the street to come to the entrance to the pool. Anyway, we loved the appartement, the pool, and the great location.

Calahonda 2019

As a family of 4 adults and 2 children we booked this apartment for 3.5 weeks all arriving at different times. Let me just say we had a fantastic holiday the apartment was well adequate enough to take a family of 6. The apartment is in a great location 2 minutes walk from the boardwalk. The pool area is very well maintained. The apartment block is very quiet and relaxing. We will be definitely looking to book again next year. It’s a 5 star from us!! Thanks Mark Torbica

Very disappointed

I had booked this property to take my family away for a lovely week together. I was very disappointed by the general state of it. The floors, surfaces (especially the outside areas), cupboards and wardrobes were generally dirty, shabby and either I’ll equipped or packed full of ‘rubbish’. I took photographs of crammed wardrobes and cupboards (crammed with items I can only presume previous occupants have left behind), un used washing machines, cushions, inflatables etc etc. The property is advertised as sleeping up to eight people. This would be a very bad idea as two of the ‘beds’ are thin mattresses which I have no idea where you would actually put them to sleep on? To put them on the floor in the lounge/kitchen/dining area would have meant sharing with the cockroaches. Having spoken to the owner she assured me that there would be 6 sun beds for the adults going on my trip. There were 4. The kitchen was not equipped for 6-8 people and there was a ridiculous shortage of glasses and mugs. The drawers fronts were falling off and needed some attention. The outside space was lovely but again very dirty. The BBQ was unusable and had not been cleaned out from previous occupants. The location is good except for the walk to the supermarket along the main road. It was comparable to walking along the hard shoulder of a motorway and then walking over a foot-bridge. My daughter was too worried about the safety of her children to actually take them to the shops. There where a couple of nice bars within about a 10-15 min walk. That was it. Nothing else walkable with small children. All in all I was very upset and very disappointed as I wanted this to be a special family get away. I have taken some pictures of the dirt, clutter and I’ll equipped kitchen. This property needs a decent clean and some TLC.

Stayed in myriem's apartment for 4 nights in Sep. 3 bedrooms and each bedroom has aircon. 2 bathrooms with with good high powered showers. The balcony is a good size with beautiful comfortable sofas. The complex is quiet and has a large communal swimming pool. Beach is only 5 min walk. Overall excellent accommodation.

Fantastic balcony and outside area

Near to everything we needed. Pool was lovely and virtually had it to ourselves. Communication with owner very good when we had a couple of queries. Lidl and Mercadonna supermarkets are short walk away. Beach bar where we got our sunbeds was perfect. Beach stony, but water was very calm whilst we were there. The walkway takes you to Cabopino beach/port if you turn right, a pleasant walk, although it was very hot (stayed 14th September for one week). Air conditioning in apartment was very welcome when we needed it..usually at night. Had everything we needed. We got a bus for 1.50 euros into Feungorola or could go into Marbella for same price (bus stop a short walk from the apartment), did a trip to Gibraltar which was surprisingly not too far. Went to El Zoco shopping/restaurant centre and had a couple of great meals with lovely atmosphere. We liked the area and would stay again.

Location Lovely, However disappointed with apartment

The location of this apartment is great, with nearby access to the beach, shops and places to eat. However: 1: There are steep steps to the apartment which for one member of our party (nearly 70) this was not easy. 2: The picture of the pool is not a current one, as this now has railings around the pool (we were informed due to Spanish law) and unable to take sun loungers in this area. 3: There were only two sun loungers in the apartment not four as stated in the listing.... these need to be carried to the pool, down the steep steps at the front of the apartment, round to the entrance of the pool area and returned to the apartment every evening. As informed by the complex president, these are unable to stay on the grass overnight. Being a group of seven we therefore laid on beach towels on the grass for the duration of our stay. 4: There are strict rules for the swimming pool (again informed by the complex President) that no balls, inflatables or games are allowed in the pool. This was very closely monitored by the president during our stay. 5: No air conditioning in the main lounge and the units in the bedrooms leaked water when in use, so spent the entire holiday unable to use these, and in the height of the summer, this was quite uncomfortable. Although the owner when contacted was very pleasant, no one came to repair the air con units as promised for our entire stay. There were a fair few niggles with this apartment, from not enough bath towels for 7 people on arrival and waited 4 days to get these, to little steps outside bedroom doors and on the main balcony that are not noticeable and should have a coloured tape down to avert people tripping and injuring themselves. 6: BBQ was in no fit state to use. We make the most of our holidays and this is the first time ever Ive written a review on a property, but only because I felt there are items listed here, that should be mentioned in the Owners Listing when selling this apartment to clients.

Absolutely beautiful duplex apartment in a well maintained area.

I have just returned from a four night break at this beautiful apartment. First off the map is incorrect as this location is only a two minute walk from the beach. There was 6 ladies in total ranging from 40 to 70 and the apartment was perfect for our needs. The interior was beautiful and no expense was spared on the furnishings which were in perfect condition. The balcony was huge and even in November the sunshine was fantastic and we spent hours chatting and relaxing out in the sun there. An amazing boardwalk just a few minutes walk away and a beautiful restaurant on Luna Beach (about ten mins walk down the boardwalk) which we visited twice. The food there was fab and we hired the loungers for 5euros and had cocktails and food while listening to live entertainment on the beach! We visited La Cala which is about 10 mins taxi drive away which was recommended to us by a group we met in a local bar. That was a fab spot which was very busy even for November. The drinks there were a lot cheaper than our area and the area was spotless and safe also. I would definitely recommend this apartment if your looking for a relaxing break away from it all. The apartment is spotless and big and has everything you need to enjoy a break away. Local shop Lidl is about ten mins walk away and McDonalds is two mins away also. Thanks again. Sarah xx

Absolutely Fabulous

7 of us girls wanted 4 days chilled time away with a bit of nightlife, our ages ranged from 25 to 40 years old. We flew into malaga and the accommodation was about 30/40 mins away by taxi. The address could not be found on the sat navigation but we managed to get there. The accommodation sleeps 8 although 2 of these are single mattresses on the floor. I would say being 7 girls it was plenty of space or for a family but would more comfortably be suited to 6 adults. The duplex had everything we needed and we were able to pay for an internet dongal which was portable. The complex has a wonderful communal pool and is immediately on the beach with a lovely walk way around to some restaurants and bars. The complex is called vacation care and mainly retired/older residents whilst we were there. It meant it was lovely and quiet during the day. The beach is narrow and very clean with beautiful shells and stones, we spent the day here and paid 6 euros for a beach bed with mattress and that included a free drink per person... amazing! We found Las Rocas Beach bar which was a 10 minute walk to the left side ran by Karen, Andy and Andys Dad who we nick named Don. They were very friendly, Welcoming with excellent customer service. The food was great and a very good standard and food and drink extremely reasonably priced. We went here atleast once a day! Along the main road of calahonda there is a bus service, you can pick up taxi very easily, restaurants and bars, supermarket, postoffice etc. Incredible Korean restaurant called hanori with divine food, beautiful setting and excellent customer service! We visited Feungurola and had good food on fish alley. We visited some great clubs in Puerto Banus, funky Buddha and seven were great from midnight onwards, drinks were expensive so started at sky bar which was a bit if a dive however 15 euro for all you can drink for an hour followed by a bottle of vodka with mixer for the group to share so we did this before hitting the clubs. Taxi to Puerto Banus was about 40 euro. All in all fabulous location if you like quiet by day with option to venture out for nightlife. Great apartment and we didn't experience a bad meal the entire holiday with no complaints what so ever! Will definitely be going back and would do as a family or friends!

My name is Myriem Touhami, a mother of 3 children (19 yrs, 16 yrs and 12 yrs). I work at UNEP in Paris. We purchased our summer home in Calahonda in 2009. In this house that has a great vibe, we cherish the precious moments we spend there with our children. The house is extremely peaceful.

My kids love spending part of their summer in Calahonda and for this reason, it became our summer house. We just renovated the main floor (living room, dining area, bathroom and one bedroom) in April 2022, making it a lot more modern and enjoyable. The kitchen has been repainted and has a newer and modern look. The second bathroom will be redone later once we save some funds.

As a family, we love sharing our house with other families coming from all over the world who like to spend fun moments in sunny and beach areas.

Why they chose this property

We bought this summer house for our children who love to spend time in Spain, especially in Costa del Sol. In this property, it is very quiet and the pool is never full even in the summer months. As a child, I also spend all my summer holidays in Spain and therefore, I have a special affection for this area. Our residence is quiet and peaceful, and at the same time, near many restaurants, beach, supermarkets and shopping areas.

What makes this property unique

I love our house because it is very quiet and even in summertime, the pool is never full. It is VERY safe for the kids to play there.
