Villa Zelda - Spacious 3 bedroom apartment (100m²) with TOTALLY PRIVATE GARDEN AND POOL (not shared) for your own exclusive use in the garden apartment of Villa Zelda in Roquefort les pins. Restaurants, Supermarket, Bakery, Pharmacy close by.

SLEEPS 6 ADULTS (06330 France) 500m from the village centre where you will find a supermarket, boulangeries, butchers, Banks and ATMs, pharmacy and several restaurants with open-air terraces and our local Bistrot "le Cappucino". Your apartment consists of the entire ground floor of the Villa and is totally independent. You have your own entrance, your own garden (400m²), a private pool for your own exclusive use (End APRIL until 25 SEPTEMBER) 5 meter above ground octagonal pool and of course your own teak outdoor furniture and large charcoal Barbecue.
Decorated with beautifully restored French furniture in a shabby-chic French style. WIFI Fibre, Large Smart TV with NETFLIX.

CAR parking and 4x4 with roof box ONLY.
Sorry no Space for large TRUCKS or MINIBUS!

THREE BEDROOMS, (Double 160cm, Double 150cm, 2 single beds). Changover Day is usually Saturday in High Season (June - Sept - please send me a request! ) , at other times of the year we can be more flexible :-)

Arrivals are after 4pm, departures at 10am (to allow for cleaning and preparing the villa - thanks so much!)

what a blast of hospitality

Dorothy is an amazing host. I don't remember having this much of a welcoming and comforting experience lately. The house matches the description, the location is perfect, and you will find everything nearby. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfy, all rooms have windows, safe and clean neighbourhood, and max 30 mins away from major attractions/cities/beaches. It is no surprise why the current rating is 10/10. 100% genuine.

Wonderful villa

The house was perfectly placed in the town and was just right for us as a family to visit other family members. With two little ones the garden and pool was safe and the swimming pool was at the right height so not to have be constantly worried about the little one. Dorothy could not have been a more friendly and welcoming host and so vey accommodating. It is a beautifully decorated house with everything we needed we will most certainly stay there again.

Delightful Apartment

From the directions to the property to the end of the stay I cannot find fault. The apartment and garden were great to relax in with the added bonus of the pool to relax in. Dorothy is a wonderful host and when my husband became unwell during our stay she could have not been more helpful. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay on the cote d'azure.

Great place with a fantastic host!

We really enjoyed our stay and Dorothy was very accommodating, helping us with a cot and high chair which meant we didn't have to try and pack them 😀. Also the pool was perfect if you have little ones as it is raised up so they cannot just fall in. The location is beautiful and the weather was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

Great location, lovely villa

Enjoyed a lovely week at Villa Zelda in May, the property is lovely and spacious, well equipped and in a really good location for exploring Nice, Grasse , Antibes and lots of other smaller but lovely Provence villages. Roquefort Les Pins village is 5-10 mins walk from the villa with everything you need including a great supermarket, boulangerie, butchers , pharmacy and much more, also a good range of restaurants and can definitely recommend Pepperoni and Auberge du clos pins for some excellent food. Dorothy was a great host, making sure to welcome us on arrival and on hand if needed. Would definitely recommend Villa Zelda for a fabulous place to relax or explore.

Perfect accommodation, Dorothy is a real super host!

Had a great week exploring the coast, mountains and national parks. Villa in a perfect location, close to shops, restaurants and local bars. What a fabulous Host!! ❤️

My husband & I stayed for 3 weeks and it was just wonderful! The accommodation was just beautiful and there was everything we needed and more! We had our own garden complete with pool, bbq, sun loungers and dining table and chairs! Wasn’t quite warm enough to take advantage of all those but next time!!!! Dorothy was the perfect host and so helpful even giving us some T cut after an altercation with a high kerb!!! 🤣. Everything was faultless. We met Dorothy as a host and at the end of the 3 weeks I felt like I was leaving a good friend!! Thank you Dorothy and we will definitely be back!!! With love Joyce & Mike xx☘️

Fabulous villa in delightful grounds

Villa Zelda was perfect for our requirements. We loved the immaculate presentation, the attention to detail, everything we required was available. The surrounding area really does have bars, supermarkets and a wide range of restaurants within walking distance. Our host Dorothy was delightful, she helped us quickly and efficiently with a minor medical issue and was just a text away from any questions or advice we required. The pool was great fun and quite a pleasant temperature and the garden was spacious for ball games. Thank you Dorothy we had a great time. Hope to see you again.

A gem of a property

Villa Zelda is a gem of a place. There was plenty of room for us - we are a family of 5 and was incredibly clean and tidy. Vintage meets Art Nouveau is how I would describe the decor with beautiful furniture in every room. All mod cons were available to us for use during our two weeks stay. There is a pool, lovely gardens, a BBQ, sunloungers and a private space to park you car. Dorothy was an incredible host. Very happy to help at any time of day and has brilliant first hand knowledge of Roquefort les Pins. The area was beautiful with so much to do, Listen to music, eat at great restaurants or Pizzerias, take a walk in the woods and so on. I would absolutely recommend Villa Zelda, in fact a few tears were shed when we left.

Great place! Very nicely kept place in a good location 30 minutes driver from both Nice and Cannes. Nice garden and swimming pool. We had all our meals outdoors in the nicely kept garden/terrace. Local super market, bakery, restaurants etc just around the corner. Owner/manager Dorothy is a gem and is extremely positive, nice and service minded!

Brilliant stay, lovely villa

We had a lovely time at Villa Zelda. The villa is spacious and has a homely feel with lots of cool furniture and one of the most comfortable corner sofas you'll find! It was nice to have a private garden as well as the pool. The location is great, walking distance to the local supermarket and restaurants plus a short drive to the airport and the multitude of things to do in the area. Dorothy, the owner, is a brilliant host and nothing is too much trouble. She made our stay with our baby daughter an absolute pleasure and was always on hand to help us if needed. We would happily recommend to anyone staying in the area! A&L

A Hearty Welcome!

We have just spent the most wonderful fortnight at Villa Zelda. Everything was perfect, from the hearty welcome from the owner, to the beautiful decor of the house. The place was spotless and the owner Dorothy was so helpful and obliging. We had a little car mishap (just a small dent/scratch) with a french driver during our stay, and Dorothy helped us enormously with all the French language details - both with the driver and the rental agency whose English helpline was unavailable. Villa Zelda is very comfy and spacious and in a great location for visiting the surrounding areas. It is also just a few mins walk from several restaurants and the local bar. Highly recommended!

Beautiful restful stay

The house is beautiful, clean and comfortable and Dorothy is a warm and lovely hostess who accommodated our needs and requests in every way. It was lovely to have some basic provisions on our arrival, so we didn’t have to immediately head out to find groceries. She has also done a fantastic job up-cycling the furniture to give a classy and muted look to the apartment. It has pretty much all you need for your stay and can comfortably accomodate 6 people in nice, clean comfortable beds. The kitchen is well equipped with utensils and microwave (but with the absence of an oven). It was nice to have a small garden to sit out in on a sunny day. Despite being on what looks like a relatively small road in a residential area, it is actually on a commuter route and can be noisy with the road at times. However this also means the house is well located, <10 minute walk to the supermarket, local shops, pharmacy, doctor and cafe/ restaurant and bus route to Nice (50mins) and Grasse in opposite direction (40mins). By car it’s even quicker to Nice & Grasse, Canne, Monaco and the Italian border as well as several lovely mountain top villages are all within about and hour to 90min drive. We had a lovely stay over Easter 2018, and the weather was generally kind to us apart from a couple of days. The kids enjoyed access to English channels via satalite and the toy box that was in their room. Thank you so much Dorothy! We highly recommend this apartment to everyone!

Really wish we'd booked two weeks!

The time flew by, the weather was amazing and Villa Zelda had everything you could want or need. As is not often the case - it actually looks better in real life than the photos!! Loved the decor and Dorothy was so welcoming and helpful and was able to organise several things for us including pairing our speaker to the house Wifi system, getting us a taxi for a night out and printing our boarding passes among other things. So handy but also very discreet as we hardly saw her unless we called for help! There are quite a few restaurants within walking distance - our favourite was the très French "Auberge du Clos" which was amazing! We didn't get everything done on our "to do" list, so we really wished we'd booked for a bit longer - maybe next year!!

5 stars! Amazing villa you won't be disappointed

We're back home after staying at villa zelda for a week. It truly was amazing lovely throughout extremely clean, spacious, homely and well equipped with the bonus of a garden big enough for a game of badminton and a really good size pool and bbq. 20/30 minutes from Nice airport and easy to find. Close to supermarket and restaurants. Dorothy is so lovely too very welcoming and super friendly. We really wish we had booked 2 weeks. We would definitely recommend and we would definitely return thank you Dorothy for a lovely holiday 🤗😊☀️ xxx

Beautiful apartment, great location, warm welcome

We had an amazing stay at Villa Zelda. As ever a warm welcome from Dorothŷ and family. The apartment is super clean and comfortable, with all mods cons. We love coming back to the pool after a day exploring the area and having a barbeque in the garden. The town has some good places to eat (we like L'auberge du clos pins) and Valbonne is a short drive away with even more choice. Beaches around Antibes are easy to get to as is the amazing Lac de Saint Cassien with its crystal clear swimming water and canoe and boat hire. Highly recommended.

Fantastic holiday

Villa Zelda is ideally situated for several local restaurants, all of which made us very welcome. Roquefort Les Pins is well positioned to visit Grasse, Cannes, Nice, Monaco and all the great places there are to visit on the Cote D'Azur

Just Fabulous!

We have just returned from a fabulous stay at Villa Zelda. The villa is spacious and beautifully appointed, equipped with everything you could possibly need (and much, much more). We arrived late on a Saturday evening and so finding bread, cheese and champagne waiting for us was very welcome indeed. Ideally located for exploring the surrounding area including Biot, Mougins, Grasse, Valbonne as well as the larger towns on the Cote d’Azur and it’s also just a short walk to the centre of Roquefort-les-Pins where there is an Intermarche supermarket and a fabulous boulangerie. After a day of exploring, the pool is wonderful to cool down in the summer heat before relaxing with an early-evening barbecue – idyllic! But, special thanks must go to Dorothy who was amazing. Such a warm inviting welcome and so helpful when we needed assistance. Nothing was too much trouble. Can’t wait to come back :-)

Beautiful home and amazing welcome!

We were well looked after from first inquiry to the time we left Villa Zelda by Dorothy and her family. Such a pleasure to have welcoming hosts who are just upstairs but at the same time you'd never really know they were there....perfect. We could have spent all week in the wonderful house and garden and just walking around the village but we like to get out and explore. I was a great base to get to loads of places, we were able to enjoy time in Italy, Monaco, Nice, Cannes along with many of the mountain villages like Gourdon and Tourettes Sur Loup. We were close to a small supermarket, restaurants and bakeries etc with some larger ones and shopping centers just a 15min drive away. It was great and the children loved their bedrooms, the toys and books and the pool :) An amazing holiday where many treasured memories were made. Hope to return again to see the area and spend time in Villa Zelda once more. Thank you for having us.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Zelda, just the perfect retreat, away from it all yet close enough to walk to the supermarket and some restaurants. Amazing stay at Villa Zelda

We have just come back from a fantastic weeks stay at Villa Zelda. Dorothy could not have been more welcoming or helpful from the minute we arrived. The villa was exactly as described and felt very spacious, the kitchen was well equipped and each room immaculately furnished. A real plus having sky TV, it was like home from home! The pool was a big hit with all of us in the heat and used whenever we were in, it was well maintained and of the standard of the rest of the villa. Dorothy gave excellent customer service, available for any advice and assistance and nothing was too much trouble. We had complete privacy throughout our stay and i would thoroughly recommend this holiday home. We had a hire car and really made use of the beautiful weather to explore. Toulon was our first stop, to visit the rugby stadium and was an easy drive along the coast. We then did San Remo in Italy, Monaco, Cannes, Antibes, Nice centre, and Grasse... Plus we even managed to fit in a visit to watch a stage of the Tour de France which was easily achievable with only an hours drive up in to the Alps. I would thoroughly recommend all of these places to any visitor. Public transport is equally as good and despite having a car we also used the bus to reach Nice central and Grasse. The local bus service is cheap and efficient and if we didn't have a car we would have easily travelled by bus and train to the same destinations. Locally, you have all the amenities you need, so if you just wanted to stick to Roquefort les pins, you would equally enjoy a week relaxing in the village. But my advice would be to explore the area as you wont be disappointed!

Why they chose this property

This is a great village for bringing up children - there is a very relaxed atmosphere which we like a lot. We used to pass through this village on our way to Francis's parents house and I always wished we'd have a house here one day. We're far enough away from the city yet we have everything we need on our doorstep - it's only 5 minutes walk to the village centre. Cannes is only 16 kms away and even a trip to Monaco is only 45 mins by car! In ski-season you can find yourself going skiing on Saturday and off to the beach on Sunday! The sunshine of course is one of the main reasons for buying here rather than in Dublin! Quick access to the Airport means we can pop home more often.
