Although we are situated in the campo, there are many things to see and do in the Axarquia region, most of them are just a 30 minute drive, Velez-Malaga is just 20 mins drive where there are an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants, Caleta is also 20 mins drive, there you can walk along the sea front all the way to Torre del Mar if you wish, in Torre del Mar there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants, and in the evenings, selling clothes, food, tapas, jewellery, all sorts of things. Also in Caleta is a pretty Marina, where you can book a trip out on a boat and enjoy a swim out in the med, food and drink supplied on board, you can enjoy a swim in the sea and even go in search of dolphins, we can give you details, just ask during your stay here!
Car hire is essential as we are in the Campo (countryside) there is a local bar/restaurant which can be walked to, but there are no shops within walking distance but everything is a short car ride away. We can taxi you to the shops and bars if you choose, or would like to have a drink and not drive, especially if you want a very relaxing holiday just chilling by the pool.
