A welcoming villa with its bright and comfortably furnished interiors. It is set in a beautiful mature maintained garden with an abundance of flowers and trees on more then 3000m2 of private land, fenced and accessed through automatic gates. It enjoys a delightful position over a valley with sea and countryside views.
The popular and vibrant Marina of Duquesa and beaches is within a walking distance from the Villa offering a wide selection of Restaurants, Cafés and Chiringuitos with access to the most beautiful beaches along this coast.
The private and heated pool, the attractive pergola and table tennis,chillout area and barbeque invite the guests to outdoor staying. A large partly covered terrace allows to relax away from the sun without missing on the spectacular views of the sea and countryside. The layout of the villa takes into account the privacy of the guests and includes a separate guests apartment with its own entrance. It is a charming Villa with an exclusive character and many extras like A/c in every bedroom and salon, TV (Netflix and local), Induction-hob to make our guests feel at home. Super-markets are in walking distance, but we would recommend especially to families with children, hiring a car.
The Villa is inscribed as a touristic "Casa Rural Superior" and we have to register our guests in the tourism database including passport dates and home address.

Fantastic real Spanish villa

Absolutely loved it, jan was brilliant he explained everything perfectly. We have been to this area many times and this is one of the few unspoilt villas, the pool was great and still warm, the views were great, Love the big outdoor dining area, it is about 20mins walk to the castle area restaurants and 30min to duquesa port. We will definitely will be back. Thankyou jan and Barbara

An amazing holiday to remember

Everything about this holiday was amazing. The location is perfect for families with kids who want to be loud and busy. The view is beautiful and there are plenty of places to sit outside to enjoy it. Shops, restaurants and cafes are only a short distance, although I'd reccomend renting a car as it gets very hot. Jan is an amazing host, caring and considerate and we really appreciated his help whenever needed. The drive from Málaga is very straight forward and although further then some places, we highly recommend this property. We will definitely be returning next year.

Perfect Villa

The villa was perfect for our family holiday in a great area. The location is a short walk to a great beach and supermarket selling everything you need. The bread and pastries and freshly squeezed orange juice were excellent to enjoy on the patio in the morning. It’s an easy walk to the marina area and it’s many restaurants. The villa is well stocked with everything you’d need and very comfortable. We were really impressed with the facilities and cleanliness. The location is great for getting out and about seeing the area, there’s some lovely villages nearby and others great beaches to visit. The hosts are welcoming, friendly and very helpful. All in all we couldn’t fault the villa in anyway and would readily recommend it to anyone. It really was an amazing setting for the perfect holiday

Private tranquility

A beautiful property tucked away in the hillside. Completely private and excellent facilities. Travelled with our children (15,5 & 3) and our parents. We should have booked longer. Very hospitable owners with a great attention to detail. I would say having a car is essential as the local amenities can be a bit of a stretch on foot, especially if shopping etc. We will be back!

Charming authentic villa

Jan & Barbara were amazing friendly hosts, food essentials (incl. Red & White wine, tea selection, fresh coffee & pop for the kids) and fresh baked croissants on arrival. Allowed us to check-in early. We all loved it. Its 10 min walk to supermarket on a gravel track which made it super rustic. The Port is a lovely 20 min walk. We all loved the super relaxed vibe, plenty of space and everything you need for entertainment. Would highly recommend, only improvement I would add is a bbq perhaps, to make use of terrace space, we were a family of 5 that likes walking, so we didnt hire a car = car is Not essential.

A wonderful recharge the batteries holiday

The villa location is tranquil, serene, idyllic and beautiful, Barbara and Jan were very friendly, welcoming and supportive, yet we had total privacy too. We have had a glorious 2 weeks of recharging the batteries and basking in the sun by the pool. Perfect.

Relaxing retreat with beautiful views over the bay

We had a wonderful stay with our family relaxing in the villa with its private pool. It is ideally positioned with beautiful views over the bay in a peaceful location. A 20 minute walk / 5 min car ride to the Port of Duquesa where you find all types of restaurants to suit your taste. The hosts Jan and Barbara are very welcoming and on hand at the adjacent property if needed, but not intrusive. Would definitely be back again for the third time.

Perfect Family Holiday

2 young families enjoyed a great 2 weeks at the villa. Couldn’t ask for a better villa, nice pool, table tennis was a good addition, multiple places to relax or eat and a new bbq too! Jan was really helpful and on hand when needed even if just for advice on where to eat. The track leading up to the villa meant a car was necessary but meant the location felt more remote than it actually was. Great views too. I would highly recommend both the villa and the hosts. Thanks Barbara and Jan for our stay.

Very peaceful situation

Lovely clean villa. Great area as so peaceful and relaxing. Barbara was lovely and helpful. Stunning location with great views and a nice cooling breeze. Even though there isn't air con in every bedroom, because you're high up there's a cooling breeze through the window. This is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Stunning villa with great views

The elevated position of this villa provide stunning mountain and sea views. The outside space is very beautiful and well kept and the pool was great to keep the kids busy! The villa itself has everything you need and is very clean and tidy. What really sets this villa apart from the others is Barbara the owner. She's very kind and always happy to help, without being intrusive. It's no coincidence that she is mentioned in practically every review! Would recommend this villa.

Very private villa with stunning views

We stayed here with our daughter, son-in-law and 3 year old grandson. The villa was spotless on our arrival with everything you could possibly need. The pool was the warmest one we have had, the sun is on it all day. It was lovely to sit in the gazebo at night with a G&T, so relaxing and peaceful yet not too far to the Marina etc.

Beautiful views, peaceful and everything you need for a perfect holiday!

We stayed here (my husband, two young children, brother and parents) for seven days and we had a fantastic time. Barbara is amazing, so kind and helpful and makes sure you have everything you need. My children also loved Barbara and enjoyed talking to her, meeting her dog and horse! The villa has everything you need, very comfortable and in an amazing location, the views are stunning. You are close to the beach and the port so going out is easy but at the same time you could be in the middle of nowhere. A really beautiful spot and looked after so well by Barbara. Thank you!

Great Villa

Great Property, incredibly well serviced with everything you would need to have a great holiday, exceptionally clean and verywell maintained. Barbara is always close by for any required help. I would highly recommend this villa as a holiday destination, ideal for a family or couple if you like the quiet life but close enough to plenty of entertainment alternatives. My only gripe is the 1km 'off road' commute to the entrance which is not walkable at night.

Perfect family holiday

Our family of 6 adults & 3 small children spent our perfect holiday here for the 2nd time. Quijote is a luxury villa, furnished to the highest standard. It is even better than the description. The lounge is large with lots of light. The kitchen is fully equipped. The patio & pool area are perfect for dining, relaxing or scootering. There is even a toy box & a table tennis table. There are views to both mountain & sea & total privacy. 10 mins walk to 2 supermarkets, 15 min to beach with chiringuitos & Duquesa. Estepona is 10 mins drive. Barbara is helpful when asked but is fully respectful of privacy. Great villa - great holiday Thanks again Barbara

Fabulous villa with lovely views of the countryside and the sea.

Beautiful villa set in the countryside, homely, clean, everything you could ever want from a villa holiday. Spacious grounds, lovely pool, great facilities. Barbara, the owner was very attentive and went out of her way to ensure we were well looked after. Our only regret was that we didn't hire a car, as you do need one. We would definitely return to this haven. Thank you Barbara for a lovely week.

Perfect Place!

What a wonderful place El Quijote is. If you are a discerning holidaymaker, look no further. What makes the villa so special is it's incredible location. It is approached via an unmade road just off the A7, which leads on to Barbara's beautiful private road, flanked on both sides by tall trees. You have the feeling you are driving onto an estate. Once through the electric gates, you drive up to the villa which is on a very large and beautifully terraced plot. As the villa is on private land, you have no properties nearby, the privacy is wonderful, and the views of the sea and the countryside are stunning - you can sit on the settee in the lounge and look straight out to sea. You cannot see or hear the A7 from the Villa, yet it is just 1Km away. The villa itself is excellently equipped, the lounge is elegantly furnished, very comfortable and Barbara has thought of everything you may need, we were able to hold a dinner party for 6 whilst we were there. We definitely hope to return. and would not hesitate to recommend it, it surpassed our expectations. Thank you Barbara, love to you and Benjy.
