180 degree sea view. An end of terrace one bedroom, newly refurbished apartment. Sleeps 2/4 (1 twin Bedroom. +2 pull out sofa beds). 7 min walk to yellow sand Beach and Local Amenities. Gated apartment complex with large, communal terrace in front of private patio, giving a unique sense of spaciousness. What stands out is the light, huge sky and panoramic sea view. 10 min. from airport, with car hire and a supermarket right at the entrance of the complex. Best of two worlds: quiet, yet close (5 min.) to the seafront with its shops, restaurants, beautiful promenade and miles of sandy beach. The whole complex is in first class condition with a bright, fresh look.

What a lovely place pictures are accurate right in heart of things not to far to walk to main road quiet complex lovely pool and friendly residents thanks to Vinka you were fabulous we will be back yes there are steps which we didn’t mind but you can come in on flat back way excellent place

Overall a good property, good location jus a few mins from the front. great views from the outside of the apartment. Homely,, good facilities inside. Open to the front. Not much room on the frontage due to benches and a large table. Problem we found is the 66 steps up to the apartment, after 6 weeks we found it a bind.

The location of the appartment is great. Panoramic views of the sea / shoreline. Beach and sea front only a shor walk away. Facilities in the apartment wete great, loved the "Berky" we did not purchase any bottled water throughout the stay. Overall a fantastic stay.

Great place for a holiday

We are just back from another great stay at Casa Maria. The apartment has everything you need; great kitchen, loads of towels, UK tv, good WIFI connection, washing machine, very sunny terrace with sea view and quiet neighbours. Good choice of supermarkets and bars within easy walking distance. Lots of choice for live music venues, Bogarts Bar, just down the street from Atalaya is a must. Would definitely recommend it and hope to return soon.

Fantastic well equipped apartment in a brilliant location with fantastic views. Would recommend this place to anybody looking to visit the stunning island of Lanzarote. Excellent experience right from the booking until we got home. Hopefully return again one day.

5* Apartment - Just Perfect

This is our second visit to Casa Maria and once again we were not disappointed.The apartment and whole complex is first class and in a superb location with shops, restaurants and promenade all on your door step.We spent 7 weeks here and found the apartment itself contained everything we needed and was like home from home. The panoramic view is just perfect and you never tire of seeing it. Communication with Rob & Gaby was excellent and they were so supported when we had to return earlier than planned. So glad we have already booked our return visit.

A little bit of paradise

The location of the apartment is perfect; sunshine from sunrise to sunset! 180+ views of the sea and surrounding area including Fuerteventura. The pool was just the right temperature and there were plenty of sunbeds. A 5 minute walk to all the restaurants and shops on "the strip". Large Spar shop next door. The apartment has everything you need including for the beach . Wifi was great, English TV, books and games, oven and hob, microwave, fridge and ample kitchen equipment. Would definitely return.

With panoramic sea views this apartment is in a perfect location close to all the bars an restaurants, an a supermarket next to it. Tv with lots of English channels an wifi internet was prefect. Pool area very clean an always loads of sun loungers. Will definitely return.

On arrival we were very impressed with how clean and well equipped the apartment was. Vinka was great at showing us round and was very helpful throughout our stay. Yes you have to go up a few steps but the sea view you get from the terrace is worth it! The apartment has everything you need to help you enjoy your stay. The internet TV and WiFi worked fine and was easy to use. Having a Spar supermarket on the ground floor was very useful and just around the corner was a much better stocked HiperDino. There was always plenty of space for sunbathing on the communal terrace or around the pool. And best of all no annoying loud music! We would definitely recommend it for a place for couples to stay and hope to return soon!

Both my husband and myself are professional therapists in private practice in Oxford, England. We are non-smokers and try to live according to ethical/green considerations, to the extent this is at all possible. We have two grown up daughters and we all love visiting this dramatic island of Lanzarote. Rob is also an artist and the apartment has some of his colourful watercolours and oils on the walls.

Why they chose this property

I had no intention of ever buying an apartment in a holiday resort. Being one for 'off the beaten track', the whole idea felt alien to me. But then I joined a friend at her Atalaya holiday apartment in March and my previous attitude was transformed.

In brief I fell in love with the entire holiday complex, and particularly with Casa Maria, an apartment with its unique spaciousness, facilitated by a huge outdoor patio which belongs to the community but is mainly empty. The patio leads to a couple of gorgeous swimming pools.

So, what made me make an offer on the second day of my stay was the sea view, the space, the light, the sky and the sense of tranquility and freedom that all of this provided: my escape from long British Winter months was guaranteed.

What makes this property unique

Atalaya is super convenient: 10 min. taxi ride from the airport, its own supermarket at the entrance, yellow sand beaches round the corner, British and German doctor's surgeries, a health spa with reasonably priced saunas and massages and golf course. While you are only minutes away from shops, bars and restaurants you are far enough not to loose that sense of peace and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle. Atalaya gives you thus the best of both worlds. And the beach of Puerto del Carmen 7 mins walk away is simply the best. Casa Maria is unique as it enjoys a huge outdoor patio, which other apartments don't have. The apartment is newly refurbished and in excellent condition, with carefully chosen fabrics and as it says above with our 4 foot statue of Quan Yin, goddess of compassion.
