Best Host!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay in the apartment. Ana is a lovely lady who met us on arrival, kindly helped us with our luggage, and showed us around the facilities. The rooms are nicely furnished and spotlessly clean and Ana had provided some essential groceries, including a bottle of wine, which was much appreciated! The highlight of our stay was enjoying a coffee on the balcony while taking in the fantastic views of the Old Town and Lokrum Island. The accommodation is excellent value for money and the warm hospitality we received from Ana was second to none. We would definitely recommend this apartment as the perfect base for a stay in Dubrovnik.

Wonderful visit

I came with my girlfriend for my 60th celebratory holiday, and was not disappointed. The apartment is perfect, everything that you need is here. The view is to die for, its stunning. Ana was so lovely and was incredibly helpful, and was always available by phone. I would highly recommend Cavtat and Lokrum Island for visits, and obviously the old town is beautiful. Bring your walking legs, there are some steps up to the apartment as mentioned by previous guests. Its no suprise though, its a city on the side of a craggy coastline and is very hilly. Ubers are very cheap and easy to find though, and the buses are also cheap and frequent (4 euros to Cavtat, and that's about 35 minutes). There is also a water taxi to Cavtat. I would highly recommend Ana's apartment, we totally loved it here.

Amazing Sunset Apartment

We had an amazing stay in Ana’s apartment. Ana anrra airport pickup. We were meet by Nic who was extremely friendly. Then checkin by Josef. Ana had left us a welcome pack , milk, bread juice etc. Beautiful apartment, amazing sunset and very handy to beaches and Dubrovnik centre. Bus stop 5 mins away. We would most definitely stay again. No negatives about our 12 nights at Ana's apartment. Ana arranged taxi from and to the airport, was there to greet us on arrival and gave us detailed information for an excellent stay in the wonderful town of Dubrovnik. Will definitely return in the future.

A little gem

This little haven was a great base for our week in Dubrovnik. Ana was a great host - very informative and ensured that everything was just so - providing essentials - tea, coffee, milk, bread etc for our first few days and available throughout the week if required. The view of the coastline and city is breathtaking! Beaches and city within walking distance but the buses are very punctual and a relief after a day of walking. If stsying the whole week would advise purchasing the Dubrovnik Pass - good value for money. We will certainly return! Thankyou Ana!

Highly recommended!

Apartment Anadra was a real home from home. It had absolutely everything we could have needed, including amazing views from the balcony. Ana is a wonderful and extremely welcoming host. She provided milk, bread, tea, coffee, fruit and other provisions for our arrival, which were very welcome. She also gave us lots of very useful information. She also contacted us in advance of our stay to ask if we wanted her to arrange taxis to and from the airport, which we did. All worked very smoothly. She even carried our very heavy cases up the stairs to the apartment! For people with mobility issues, the walk to and from the Old Town would not be easy; it took us about 25 minutes, and is uphill on the way back, though you can easily get a bus there. It kept us fit! And the walk is beautiful. I cannot recommend Ana and her lovely apartment highly enough. We had an amazing holiday, and staying in Apartment Anadra played a huge part in this. Thank you, Ana!

Convenient location

Ana’s apartment was conveniently located from old town, about 15 min walk. View from balcony was beautiful, overlooking sea. Number 8 bus stop was also just around the corner. Ana was an excellent host and extremely helpful. Had a lovely stay!

Beautiful Apartment

Lovely apartment beautiful views close to the old town some steps but every step worth it! Ana greeted us after arranging airport transfer what a lovely host! Would highly recommend this apartment the sunsets are amazing! Thank you Ana and we hope to see you again in the future!

A wonderful apartment

We chose this property based on the reviews left by previous guests, and we were not disappointed. Everything was so easy, Ana arranged pick up from the airport and was at the apartment to meet us, even though it was before the scheduled check in time. The apartment was lovely and clean with plenty of storage space. The fruit, tea, coffee and bread was very welcome after our very early start and meant we could just relax straight away. The view from the balcony is spectacular, and even though I am back at work now, I keep looking at my photos to remind myself of the amazing views of Lokrum Island and Dubrovnik Old Town. Ana was so helpful in arranging trips for us and even cleaned our apartment again during the holiday and left us a bottle of wine which was just so lovely. I can't recommend this apartment enough, it was a perfect respite from the busy Old Town (which we loved) but we were always pleased to get back to the apartment. We are all much fitter after all the stairs, but the view was worth it!!Thanks Ana for our wonderful holiday

A great welcome to Dubrovnik!

What a welcome to a holiday! Ana was so helpful arranged taxi from airport was at apartment to meet us personally and was at hand as a host and tourist information during our entire stay! You couldn’t ask for more. Apartment is great so clean and everything you could ever need and more (even supply of toiletries in case you had forgot any). Location is quiet which we enjoyed but like everywhere in Dubrovnik stairs and hills so we are fitter now than before we went! Will never forget my morning coffee and evening wine on the balcony. Ana also arranged our taxi back and came to see us off with a wave! Thanks again Ana!

Dubrovnik Magical Place

Cannot speak took highly of the care and attention we received from Ana. Taxi waiting at airport as arranged by Anna who was waiting for us at the apartment ready to carry up the luggage and make us at home. The apartment was very clean with everything as advertised including the wonderful views which we will never forget. On our second week Anna arrived to change the bed linen and tidy up so that in her words "you can start your holiday again". Anna even hung out the washing and emptied the dishwasher for us as well as leaving a lovely bottle of wine! The highlight of our holiday was going to hear the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra in the Rector's Palace. The sound was amazing in the old building with an open courtyard showing the stars above. We found the people to be very polite with excellent English and the food was very good. We had 4 days of pure sun shine and the sea was lovely to swim in. We are very active 70 year olds but a word of caution there are steps everywhere and although we walked down to the Old Town in the morning, and again at night we had to resort to taxis in the heat of the afternoon. It is worth asking Ana re taxi fare as she told us it would be around 70 kunas but one or two asked to 90 kunas which we refused. Make sure they put the meter on and agree a price first! In 40 years of travelling Anna provided us with the best service we have ever had. Thank you!!

The apartment is well located within easy walking distance of the old city.

Ana organised our pick up from the airport and welcomed us to the apartment. She gave us lots of useful information for our stay. The apartment is spacious and well equipped although bedroom 2 is tight for a double bed. It has plenty storage space. There were plenty towels. The view from the balcony to the old city and lockrum island is stunning. We took the public bus to Cavtat twice during our week. It is lovely. We also went on an organised trip to Mostar which was very interesting. I would fully recommend this apartment and Ana is an excellent host.

Home from home

Lovely apartment. Very well equipped with everything you need for a perfect stay. The view from the balcony is amazing. Well worth the climb up, what felt like hundreds of steps. Ana was the perfect host. From meeting us at the apartment, providing essentials to see us through the first day or two, to bidding us farewell on the day of leaving. Ana was also available to provide advice and assistance during the holiday if required. Dubrovnik is a beautiful city. We will definitely be back.

Excellent views and a true home from home.

Ana the host was brilliant, she met us near to the property to take us there on our arrival to Dubrovnik. Apartment had everything you need and had been thought out very well. We even had water, tea, bread, jam and milk in our room when we arrived. We were made to feel very welcome and Ana gave us some ideas of the attractions in Dubrovnik and nearby areas. The apartment is very spacious and the balcony must have some of the best views in Dubrovnik, overlooking the Island of Lokrum and the small harbour of Dubrovnik walls. The dining room window opens up to look like a picture postcard! It's a 15 min to 20 minute downhill walk to the centre and I would recommend a taxi back as it is a little strenuous on the way back (we are in our late forties!) so this will be a stroll for some, but unless you are staying within the city walls directly in the Square/centre you will find steps and an uphill walk everywhere in Dubrovnik once you leave the centre. Taxi was approximately 50-60 kuna. There is free on street parking which we made use of during our visit. If returning to Dubrovnik we would definitely stay here again, it is clear that the owner is very proud of her property and this shone through. The apartment was equipped with a kitchen, toaster, dishwasher, washing machine, iron/board, microwave etc... Would highly recommend to others.

Lovely apartment. Great location in Dubrovnik.

We have just had a fantastic stay at this great apartment in Dubrovnik. We are a family of 4. We have a 4 yr old and a 2 year old. The apartment is well equipped. Had everything we needed. Ana is such a great host. Very helpful with recommendations of what to do during our stay. She was so kind. We weren't expecting a few grocery supplies when we arrived (milk, bread, water,fruit etc) She very kindly provided this for us. The apartment is a perfect location. Just a 15 min walk from the old town. Beautiful views. We will definitely be coming back again and would highly recommend a stay here. Thank you Ana!

Lovely homely apartment with a fantastic view

We had a great time in Dubrovnik staying at Ana's apartment. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet, and the decor made it feel really homely. It was also one of the best equipped self catering places we have ever stayed in. Ana did all she could to make our stay enjoyable, from being at the corner of the street to direct us as we arrived in our hire car and then carrying both our suitcases up the 60-odd steps to the flat, to providing coffee, tea, milk, bread, fruit etc to start us off, and then emailing helpful information about Montenegro which we'd said we'd like to visit. The flat was very convenient for visits to the old town and Lokrum island, the only snag for us unfit oldies being the uphill walk back and the final 64 steps! Still, it gave us an excuse for a coffee break at the nice hotel part way up the hill and then when we arrived back at Ana's, the view of the sunset made it all worthwhile!

Modern, Spotlessly clean , Superb views

I agree with all previous comments. Ana is a great host. Quick reply to all emails, lots of information of what to do in Dubrovnik and surrounding area . Ana is also available if you need anything during your stay. Apartment is modern, spotlessly clean and has stunning views of Old Town. Will recommend to anyone visiting Dubrovnik and I will stay here again when I visit Dubrovnik

Ana made us feel welcome from the very moment we arrived. Ana is a mine of information of what to do, what to see and where to eat in Dubrovnik; she also arranged taxi transport for us from and to the airport. The transfers were prompt and efficient. Ana's apartment is very clean and had everything we needed ( and more) during our stay. We were welcomed with milk, tea, coffee, juice and fresh fruit - appreciated after our long journey. The view from the balcony, over the bay towards Dubrivnik Old Town, is beautiful and we never tired of it. If we are lucky enough to visit Dubrovnik again we would not hesitate to stay in Ana's comfortable apartment.

A great find

I came across this property on this site and booked it not expecting too much but boy was in for a treat. This property is set in a stunning location overlooking the city walls. The more walk from the apartment to the city is about 15-20mins and not too exhausting. We were 2 couples and the flat was big enough with 2 bedrooms, living area, bathroom, kitchen & balcony. Ana herself is delightful and gave us a warm welcome and information about the city. She recommended food places and even prior to the holiday was prompt in replying to any query. If you are visiting Dubrovnik, highly recommend to stay here. We had a great time! Arpita

This is a real find!

Ana has done so much to make this apartment feel like a home from home-it is spotlessly clean, and really comfortable, with amazing views from the balcony. Ana herself can't do enough for you, and welcomed us and saw us off on the day of departure, helping us with our luggage.A really wonderful service-so glad we picked here to stay! One word of advice-you need to be fairly fit to climb the 115 steps up from the lower road to the road the apartment is on, and a further 65 up to the apartment! The walk down to the old town is a really picturesque one-took us 20 minutes.

Wonderful Apartment

Really enjoyed our stay in Ana's lovely apartment. Fantastic views from the balcony . About 15 min walk into the old city, uphill coming back , but this meant the surrounding area was very peaceful and our fitness improved ! Would certainly recommend this great apartment and Ana is a perfect hostess , nothing is too much trouble for her and her knowledge of Dubrovnik was invaluable ! Thank You Ana Sally and John Jackson

Great apartment in wonderful city

The apartment is incredibly well fitted out and Ana could not have been more helpful. It is easy to walk into the old town --or if you want a bus, they are easy to use and inexpensive. There are many restaurants and we had some excellent meals in lovely settings. I recommend this apartment and its location.

Excellent apartment, very hospitable host!

We had a delightful stay in this lovely, well-situated apartment with stunning views over Dubrovnik Old Town and Lokrum Island. The property was clean and well appointed. Even though the November evenings were chilly, it was warm and comfortable. Ana was a very considerate host, meeting us and helping us with our cases and spending plenty of time with us giving us info about the apartment and about staying in Dubrovnik. She provided us with provisions for a good breakfast and hot drinks. She was also on hand via phone or text for help and information. She met us at the end of the week and personally escorted us by bus to catch the shuttle to the airport. The apartment is very quiet. It is about 15 mins walk into the Old Town, downhill. Walking home takes slightly longer as it is uphill, with a steep hill towards the apartment. There are also several flights of steps to get to the apartment (hence the views). This was not a problem for us as we are regular walkers but might be a problem if you are less mobile. The local buses are cheap and frequent and take you within 5 minutes walk of the flat (but obviously can't climb the stairs for you!) I would certainly recommend this rental to my friends and have already suggested my son goes to stay there some time soon. Restaurants are good and plentiful and none are expensive; most are situated in beautiful and atmospheric locations. The Old Town is stunningly beautiful, with a fabulous City Walls walk offering incredible views and there are several cultural institutions worth visiting. It's also worth getting a Dubrovnik Card which allows entry to many of these plus a number of bus rides. A highly recommended holiday all round!

Wonderful Dubrovnik

Wonderful week in Dubrovnik. So much to see and do we only managed one day on the beach. Apartment beautifully equipped, spotlessly clean and views to die for. Ana is a wonderful host with great local knowledge and provided updates on festivals and concerts during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Ana also arranged transfers from/to the airport which were a good price and very smooth. Plenty of good restaurants in the old town. Recommend the Taj Mahal Bosnian restaurant for authentic food and worth the wait. Plenty to do both inside and outside the old town walls. St Jacob beach, Lokrum and the museum/cable car all worth a visit. The only downside was the walk from the old town with steps to the apartment and no bars or shops in immediate vicinity. However, on the plus side it factored in some daily exercise and meant the apartment was in a very quiet residential area. Also bus terminated on road just below the apartment for those not wishing to walk. Overall a great holiday for sightseeing and relaxing.
