About this property

House within Conwy Castle Walls

A comfortable, nicely decorated house on a quiet street within the medieval town walls of Conwy. It is a couple of minutes walk to river front, and to the town centre with shops, restaurants, pubs,coffee shops, fish and chips and of course the medieval castle and houses. There are views of the Conwy waterfront and town walls from the house.
Two double bedrooms, cosy lounge with log burning stove, well equipped kitchen (oven and stove, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge, microwave) and separate dining room provide space to relax in.
There is a downstairs WC, and bathroom with bath and shower upstairs.
Outside is a courtyard with table and chairs to sit outside.
There is no parking directly outside the house, but bags, guests and pets can be dropped off before parking.
You may find parking on the street, but this is limited especially in summer months; Conwy County Council provide several carparks in the town that are a couple of minutes walk from Isallt (locations are on their website). Prices are very reasonable and payment via the PayByPhone app is highly recommended.

Beautiful house, home from home

Lovely and spacious with everything you need. Location is brilliant to see Conwy and everything within walking distance or to go slightly further to Llandudno and snowdonia. I would definitely recommend staying here and would return.

Fabulous location lovely house

Everything marvellous. Everything you could need provided. Great beds and linen, warm and cosy especially with the wood stove going. A delight. Only negative is parking, although lots available and a bit scary driving up the very steep narrow street when cars parked on double yellow lines! No fault of the property of course. But yes, we had a great time!

Everything you could want and more, there is nothing you could ask for that isn't there. Such a lovely location and easily found thanks to the instructions from Jo. Parking was only a 5 minute walk away and easily applied for a full 5 night stay online. My daughter and grandchild stayed 1 night and a travel cot was made up ready. We have already decided we will hopefully be staying here again. Colwyn is such a friendly place to stay and the perfect cottage to stay in. Many thanks for a wonderful break.

Was so easy to book and the property is in a brilliant location. Parking was the only slight issue, but we know Conwy well so know where to park. Everything available at the property, even a small terrace that we initially thought we would not use but found it to be a necessity! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Short family stay

Perfectly located within the town walls. Everything was in walking distance, castle, quayside, pubs, restaurants and shops, a great base. The house was lovely, well laid out, very clean and well presented. Soft comfy beds, Well heated and tea coffee milk and Welsh cakes on arrival, it was lovely.

Weekend break visiting friends

House was immaculate, very well equipped and with plenty of living space which was great for a stormy weekend with young kids to entertain. Parking was close by. Twin beds slightly narrower than our kids are used to which led to some falling out - would reccommend bringing bed guards if you also have little ones 😬☔

Conwy was the first choice as it has been a family holiday destination for about 50 years. We love the town for its history, character and charm. It has plenty of interesting things to see and do, beautiful shops, highly recommended restaurants and friendly local people. It has good travel links so easy to get to and perfect for using as a base to explore Snowdonia and Anglesey.

What makes this property unique

The property is a 2 storey 19th century house on a quiet one way street inside the castle walls of Conwy. It has been refurbished and redecorate to high standards to make a comfortable "home from home" for holiday makers. Its close to the local amenities, river front, castle and many other places of interest.
