Villa Drage was built on a fenced property of 16,000 square meters. It's located on the slopes of Kozjak near the town of Trogir. Fantastic panoramic view of Kastela Bay and Split will leave you breathless. You will enjoy in peaceful atmosphere among 400 olive and almond trees. Villa has very peaceful surroundings, with only one other house in 1km range. That means that in few minutes drive you can get to many beaches, bars, restaurants and shops but still have total privacy, peace and quiet once you get back to the villa. It was built in cascade and extends over 3 levels. The first level has a kitchen, dining room, living room area connected with the study / library area on the gallery, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The second level comprises a bedroom with a bathroom, an apartment with a living area, one bedroom, bathroom and a mezzanine bedroom on the third level. All rooms have access to the loggia / terrace / balcony area with garden furniture.

Lovely pool and spectacular view!

We are a group of five work colleagues who all work from home and we stayed in the house for 4 nights to both meet face to face and enjoy some social time together. It was very easy with e-mail communication prior to our arrival, we dealt with the owners' son and he answered and helped us with all our questions and requests. One of our group had a birthday while we were at the house and the owners wife made a lovely birthday cake. The house itself had everything that we needed. We didn't use the kitchen much as breakfast was provided (for an additional and reasonable cost) and we ate out in the evenings in Trogir. The house was easy to get to by taxi from the airport and back and forth from Trogir. We enjoyed the pool area very much and want to extend a big thank you to the owners for making our stay so enjoyable.

Beautiful property full of character and fabulous views

I would definitely recommend Villa Drage. As two families with teenagers the villa was perfect, there was plenty of space for everyone inside the villa and outside around the pool. Mladen and his wife are wonderful hosts and greeted us on arrival with some wonderful food and their award winning olive oil. The pictures are a true representation of the villa with beautiful uninterrupted views. It is easily accessibly by car from the main road. Trogir is a short drive where there are plenty of restaurants and small shops. Split airport was a 10 minute drive. KrKa National Park was a 40 minute drive, which is well worth visit.

Stunning views and villa!

We just returned from a wonderful stay at Villa Drage for my mum's 60th birthday. It was a pleasure to meet Mladen and his wife who made our stay extra special. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they helped us hire a boat to go island hopping, and were quick to help with whatever we needed... they also produce the most delicious olive oil! We were 6 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of space in the villa. The views were simply breathtaking from everywhere! Everything inside the villa is finished to a very high spec and there are plenty of towels / a full kitted out kitchen and an outdoor BBQ area. We spent a lot of time in the pool. Its is in a perfect location, being close to Trogir and not too far from Split and a 5 minute drive to the local supermarket. Highly recommended!

As in pictures, view stunning

Mladen and his wife were extremely welcoming when we arrived, showing us around the villa, and they had prepared some food and drinks for us. The villa itself is exactly as in pictures - super clean, lots of space, the downstairs bath being a particular highlight! The surroundings are really quiet, the view is stunning. The only downside to our stay was the temperature of the pool. We asked for it to be heated (costing 50 euros per day) however the temperature was around 20 degrees for the majority of our stay and didnt get much warmer. This meant we couldn't fully enjoy the pool comfortably. Other than that I would 100% recommend this villa.

Wonderful family vacation in Villa Drage

We are two British families and spent a week in Villa Drage during our summer holidays, and had a wonderful time. Mladim and Ojdana looked after us very well, welcoming us when we arrived, tending to our every need but ensuring we had privacy when we wanted it. The villa is large and comfortable with excellent facilities: the pool and ping pong were in constant use as well as the poolside outdoor kitchen / bar which became the centre of our lives. On our last evening Ojdana helped grill the fish we'd bought from the market: the result was spectacular. We left with several bottles of their delicious olive oil, the produce of the olive groves that surround the house. Altogether a wonderful holiday. We'd all highly recommend it.

An excellent villa in a great location

the villa is in a fantastic location, very quiet yet close to Trogir and local shops, though a car is essential. Fabulous views over the sea towards Split from an elevated position. The villa is extremely well equipped internally and the outside facilities excellent. the owner lives in the neighbouring property and was very helpful though left us to our own privacy.

Magnificent family villa in idyllic surroundings

A superb villa with everything that you could need for a perfect family holiday. There is a huge amount of space, all of which is to a very high standard. In addition the outdoor area is fantastic with the pool, the outdoor dining and the barbecue set up perfectly to enjoy the tranquil setting. Perhaps best of all is the incredibly warm welcome that you receive from the wonderful Krnic family. It is the best villa we have ever stayed in.

A beautifully furnished, clean and private villa.

This was our second visit to Villa Drage, and we will certainly be coming back. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners, who are on hand to help in anyway they can. We stayed for two weeks in the villa with a group of varying ages. From the villa we could visit all sorts of beautiful places. We love Split and its stunning architecture and Trogir is a short drive away and again is a pretty town with a wonderful network of bustling lanes, leading to a busy river front, and we spent many happy evenings watching the luxury yachts coming and going. Our teenagers had several evenings in Split and were able to get back to the villa safely. We took a trip on a seaplane to the island of Hvar. The plane leaves from Split airport, and is therefore very easy to get to from the villa, it is also very reasonably priced and was a great experience......Hvar is a stunning island and definately worth a visit. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough and now consider the owner and his family to be friends.

Quiet luxury villa with magnificient view

It was our first time in Croatia and we were curious about what we'll discover not only in the country but also as level of facilities and services. And we were not disappointed at all ! The villa is magnificent, perfectly maintained, the neighbourhood very quite and the view splendid. We also add a very warm welcome from the owners (probably the best we ever had in holidays rental) and very good help and advices from them during our stay. The country is also very nice (don't hesitate to follow the advices of the owner, Mladen, for visits). You're very close to Trogir and Split and not so far to Krka National Park.

Villa Drage Trogir

We had such a great time with two families in this spacious and stylish Villa. The amenities are all that you need, well equipped kitchen and outdoor eating area under the olive tree was just stunning. There is enough to do for bigger children and also for smaller children. Also we received the warmest welcome from the owners. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this villa for location, facilities and its close distance to Trogir and the airport.

Superb villa, luxurious and so well equip

What a fantastic villa - luxurious and so well equipped. Inside was spacious, comfortable and everything was to an excellent standard, with lots of personal touches - full of beautiful art and other memorabilia. Every room was different - from the spacious lounge with those oh so comfortable sofas, to the upstairs sitting room and lovely bedroom at the top of the house, and most rooms with lovely views.... and to be able to lie in the (double!) spa bath and look up the mountain was amazing! The pool was fantastic, and the whole outside area was stunning - beautiful gardens with numerous shrubs and plants, small playground, gym, unbelievable outside kitchen with BBQ, and a variety of areas for sitting and eating in and out of the sun. We were six adults - including grandparents, and a toddler, and we were all catered for! Mladen and Ojdana had thought of so many extras, and were so welcoming - what a delightful couple - and had prepared delicious food for us. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you - it was a delight to stay there and we will definitely be back! The villa was conveniently situated up the mountain overlooking the airport, but with very little noise, and wonderful views. Trogir is a beautiful town - both during the day with lots of historic places to visit and boats and yachts to watch - and the evening with lovely restaurants and shops, and a chance to walk along the seafront. We enjoyed one of the beaches on Ciovo, spent a most interesting day in Split but also enjoyed relaxing by the pool and enjoying this spectacular villa! We would definitely recommend it!

Villa Drage, Croatia

We are a British family of 5 (2 adults, 3 teenagers) who stayed at Villa Drage 12th-26th July 2014, where we had an amazing, relaxing stay. The location is stunning, with the view from the garden out across the bay towards Split and the dramatic islands and mountains surrounding the water. Likewise, the villa itself is beautiful: the living room/dining room area is very comfortable- open plan and airy with views out across the bay – and the bedrooms are all differently and individually decorated with more storage space than anyone could ever fill. The villa was also amazingly well equipped, particularly in the kitchen and outdoor kitchen unit which saved taking dishes back to the house when we’d eaten outside which we did virtually every day. The pool is big enough to swim lengths if that’s your thing, and has a jet at the end which provides a resistance current if you’re trying to get fit. The owners – Mladen and Ojdana – were extremely kind, giving us pastries, salads and meats on our first night (as well as a bottle of the olive oil they produce and a taste of the local liqueur) and always ready to answer any questions or solve any problems. We could not recommend this villa more highly for a relaxing, comfortable and stunning place to spend a holiday.

A Palace!

Before we left home, we nicknamed this villa "the palace" and we were not far wrong! We also jokingly wondered if the dog in the photographs came with the villa. It did - at least for some of the week! Villa Drage is amazing. It is the most luxurious, spacious and best equipped villa we have ever stayed in. As a family of four, we didn't need all of the space, but we appreciated it. Mladen and Ojdana, the owners, were charming, welcoming and helpful. They provided food and wine upon our arrival and invited us to help ourselves to the salad leaves from their vegetable garden - which we gratefully did throughout our stay. The views from the villa are just spectacular and the light is constantly changing. It is a great place to use as a base for exploring the local area or just to relax in. You really do need a car as there is nothing nearby, but Trogir (which has supermarkets and a market) is about a 10 minute drive away and Split can be reached in about half an hour. We spent a lovely day at the Krka National Park too, which was about 45 minutes' drive. The rest of the time we were content to relax at this beautiful villa, swim in the pool and make use of the outdoor kitchen, which has to be seen to be believed! Mladen and Odjana live on site for some of the time so there is not always total privacy but they are very discreet and it does mean that they are on hand if any problems arise. We had a fabulous week here and can't recommend it highly enough. It would also be perfect for several couples or for a couple of families sharing as there is plenty of space for everyone.

Croatian villa

Villa Drage was every bit like the photos posted on the website. It was a fantastic family property with lovely views out to the sea. It was well set up for outside dining with a whole outside kitchen and barbecue area. A super pool, and lots of choice over outside seating, whether you like sun or shade! The owner and his wife were very welcoming providing welcome drinks, wine, olive oil from their grounds and extensive snacks which were the basis of our lunch the next day. A family dog was also loaned, much to the delight of the children. The house was well maintained, very clean with ample towels for use inside and beside the pool. It is a very large property, we were a family of 5 and could not use all of the space, but it did mean there was privacy for teenagers and parents when needed! I would recommend the property, as there was absolutely nothing to fault about the villa. Trogir is a super town, with lots to see and many restaurants and bars, so a good location.There is a super fish market, market and great supermarket all close to each other at the start of Trogir. There are some things to consider: A car is needed as there is nothing within walking distance, which means a drive to shops, restaurants etc. There is a train route in the Mountains behind the villa which we were not aware of, although it is not very frequent. The owner lives in a small villa on site, which may not suit everyone. He was very discrete, and even left little gifts like bowels of figs from his orchard.

Out of this world!

Our stay in Villa Drage was simply perfect. Throughout the booking process, we dealt with Raseljka, who was helpful, patient, informative and most importantly, quick in all her responses. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Raseljka?s father, Mladen, who attended to our every need with enthusiasm. Not only did he go completely out of his way to procure us with 10 tickets for the biggest Croatian football derby prior to our arrival, Hadjuk Split vs Dinamo Zagreb, but he also taught us Croatian bowls, which proved to be extremely popular amongst our group. The villa itself was outstanding. Every need was accommodated for. Luxurious, yet simultaneously tasteful: a difficult balance to achieve. Everything was in good condition and well-maintained. The location was perfect. Completely isolated, yet 10 minutes from Trogir and 20-25 minutes away from Split. The view from the villa was even more spectacular, looking out over Trogir, the sea and in the very distance, Split. When we booked this villa, we had great expectations. But the reality proved even better. I could not recommend this property enough, not only because the property itself is out of this world, but also because the owners go that extra mile to ensure that your stay is memorable. villa drage

As a first time visitor to Croatia, we were thrilled when we arrived at Villa Drage. The villa itself is everything the description says and way, way more. It is spacious, clean and beautifully furnished. The owners were there to meet us with a very warm welcome and after showing us around the villa, they treated us to food, they had prepared, and their own delicious brandy. They were the perfect hosts and were always happy to answer any questions we had, nothing was too much trouble, and I cannot recommend this villa highly enough, The area itself is very near the airport and a short drive to the sea and the the town of Trogir. We fell in love with the beautiful architecture. There was a large number of bars and resturants and the prices were reasonable. The large city of Split is not far away and from there we were able to visit some of the many islands around Croatia. We had a truly fantastic holiday, enjoyed by the whole group, which included adults, teenagers and children, will definately return to the Villa Drage and will recommend it to friends and family.

Outstanding

Simply one of the loveliest properties we have stayed in. The villa is located in the most beautiful setting with stunning views. The facilities were excellent and the villa was immaculate throughout. We received the warmest welcome from the owners who, although on site, were never intrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this villa for location, facilities and its close distance to Trogir and the airport. Lovely stay

We had a lovely week at Villa Drage and were made very welcome by Arsen Krnic and his family who greeted us, but didn't disturb. The Villa is recently renovated, the stay was totally hassle free, it is private with nice views of Split and is very conveniently located for the airport (planes don't disturb), Trogir and Split. The amenities are all that you require, it is very spacious, clean and tranquil. Trogir is 5-10 minutes away and Split 25 minutes away. Try the Segway Tour of Split - we had 3 daughters 13, 16 and 18 and really enjoyed it. Arsen has produced a great Villa and we loved it. Good luck in the future Arsen.

Spectacular villa with Adriatic Sea View

We are two families who stayed 5 nights at this incredible property surrounded by olive trees with a beautiful view of the Adriatic. The owners gave us a wonderful welcome with delicious appetizers, their award winning olive oil (we bought three bottles to take home) and home made grappa liquor. Our kids enjoyed the pool, we loved the fully equipped outdoor kitchen and grill and the proximity to Trogir and numerous supermarkets. We would stay here again if we come back. Highly recommend the property and the hosts.

Tolles Haus

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in Villa Drage. Das Haus bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten, die man sich nur wünschen kann. Auch die Lage des Hauses bietet einen schönen Blick auf Split und das Meer. Mit dem Auto ist man in 5 min an allen wichtigen Geschäften, neben dem hauseigenen Pool zum Baden gibt es am Meer genügend ansprechende Strände unweit von Plano. Für Tagesausflüge bieten sich genügend Möglichkeiten in der näheren Umgebung an, wie z.B. der Nationalpark Krka, die Städte Split, Trogir und Sibenek. Die Familie des Gastgebers ist äußerst nett und hilfsbereit. In unserer Familie hatten wir 3 Kleinkinder dabei, die sich alle sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Wir können die Unterkunft wirklich guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

Secluded- Views of the sea, train and city

The homeowner lives on the property and welcomed us with a delicious cake, charcuterie, wine, and a bottle of their delicious olive oil. The home is comfortable, small kitchen for the size of the home, but it has a well-equipped outdoor kitchen. The air conditioning was a must and worked well. When we were home, we spent most of our time by the pool and eating outside. The beds and bedding were all clean and comfortable. Make sure to pack different forms of mosquito repellent and an outdoor speaker. You must have a car to stay at this location and dont forget, €500 cash for a deposit. If the weather is not hot, you can use the pool house for napping. It's very cute but has no AC or bathroom. Thank you, for sharing your property with us!
