Casa Miguel is a modern, open plan town house, which is furnished, equipped and maintained to a high standard including air conditioning (to both the ground and first floors) and WiFi which is free for guests. The house is ideal for both families (sleeping up to 5) and couples. It is well equipped with all the facilities of a modern home including a fitted kitchen with granite worktops, washing machine, microwave, dishwasher and 'Dolce Gusto' coffee machine, cable TV with BBC and ITV channels and DVD player. The house boasts two south facing terraces and a lovely garden providing views of the sea, mountains and Nerja town. The garden is lawned and has a gas BBQ. The house is approx 300m from two communal pools, including a children's pool. Nerja town is approx 1.5km away and can be reached either by road or along the beach (approx 20 minute walk). Both routes are lit at night.

Great house with garden

All good in this house. Location a good walk into town but we’re happy with that, local bus 1 euro into town. Near beaches. Small garden, great for breakfasting and chilling when home from the beach, very sunny.

Fantastic!

A gorgeous place to stay, clean, comfortable and perfect as a base for our family. It is in a lovely part of Spain. Within easy reach of Nerja town with it’s plentiful restaurants and tavernas for a truely authentic Spanish experience! Loved it!

Very tidy property that was exactly as described. We had an issue with the electricity supply to the housing complex, this was discussed with the owners rep and they helped solve any issues we had very efficiently and they must be commended for this as it was something that happened outwith their control. Very enjoyable stay with good access to Nerja and the beach as stated. Good parking whilst we were there close to accommodation

A lovely property. Comfortable, the owners have provided everything you could possibly need.

Location is good. Possible to walk into Nerja, which we did. Also there is a bus nearby 1€ to take you in every hour in the morning and evening. Useful for shopping if you don’t have a car.

A lovely house

It’s a lovely place in a brill location and great facilities. It’s just a short walk from the pool and only a little further down to the beach - it’s such a pretty walk into Nerja although the kids definitely preferred the hourly bus!! A perfect place for our family of four. My youngest loved spotting the odd lizard and cricket in the garden and relaxing on the patio. My eldest loved the air-conditioning and Wi-Fi! We enjoyed a glass of wine on the top balcony once the kids were in bed where you can look out towards Nerja, the mountains and a glimpse of the sea.

Wonderful stay in Nerja!

Everything was perfect from booking through to our stay. The villa was spotless and very well equiped. It is situated close to the pool and just a short walk to and from the beach. We walked to the town in the evenings which was easy and the path well lit when it was dark. It is a great place to take a family holiday and Ruth was brilliant at getting back to me with all my questions! We received excellent information about the local area and enjoyed trying the recommended resaurants. Our only regret was not having a car; Ruth did recommend that we did but we chose not to. It was fine and we managed but would have been good for getting to the supermarket! Thanks you for a lovely holiday.

Lovely villa

Lovely villa and excellent location. Perfect for a family of 3 or 4. Nice restaurants nearby and great pool area. The local beach is fantastic and less than 10 minute walk. Takes 30 - 40 mins walk to the Balcon but nice as along beach. There is a local bus to the centre each hour 5 mins walk from Villa. Only recommendation for the owners to improve the stay would be to provide adequate dish cloths, hand wash and toilet roll otherwise thanks so much for sharing their space.

Lovely Nerja

Lovely villa, well appointed and good location. Only disappointment was the scruffiness of the outside space on arrival. Terrace and garden furniture were very dirty and covered in dead foliage. Although we recognise that this is unavoidable given the climate, this could have been rectified with a before rental 'tidy up'. Other than this a wonderful stay!

Fantastic holiday

We had a really lovely two weeks in Casa Miguel. The property is well situated in a quiet area, but within easy reach of the town and beach. The property itself is very well equipped and comfortable. Ideal for a self catering holiday. We will definitely consider this property on our next visit to Nerja.

Superb property and location

A great villa, modern, clean, comfortable and well specified. The location is ideal for space and access being out of town and so that little bit quieter but also with great access and easily walkable into/out of town. Parking is nearby, the urbanisation pool and bar/restaurant is close by and are a great feature. The owners were also excellent in terms of communication and helpful with guidance and instructions for our holiday. We loved our time there and will definitely consider it when we next visit Nerja.

The property was fantastic and perfect for our family.

The property was fresh and clean with excellent facilities. It felt spacious even with a family of 5. The WiFi was great for the kids during any ‘down time’ as too was the air conditioning! The new, large gas BBQ was great for family meals outside. We all loved the communal pool which was clean and never too busy. The location was excellent for exploring Nerja and the beautiful beaches around. We had a fantastic time and would fully recommend it.

Would highly recommend this house . Its in a lovely area half hour walk from nerja town. 5 min walk to beach. Slight hill back up . Very comfortable bed and pillows. Loved the private garden with garden furniture and barbeque ( which we didnt use as so many places to eat local and in nerja) The owner was very prompt answering my queries and provided lots of info in advance of us arriving. Gorgeous clean pool and pool bar/restaurant near our house. Beautuful beach across road near marinas de nerja hotel. (5 min walk) Large pebbles in sea which makes getting in difficult.. but worth the effort... so unspoilt and breath taking mountain views behind us. No beach chairs or umbrellas to rent on this beach so we brought beach chairs and umbrella provided by owners. Little shop at hotel for essentials. Regular bus into Nerja from hotel for €1. Restaurants in nerja plentiful and sooo reasonable ! If you like peace and quiet and a gentle holiday this is the place to be.

Fantastic location gem of an apartment.

Had a superb week - apartment is well equipped and in a good location, with some lovely homely personal touches. Breakfast on the upstairs sun terrace whilst watching the sun rise is a must. A 35 minute stroll along the beach takes you into nerja town, we came back along it late in the evening to find it lite up all the way. Will definitely be looking to return again soon - didn't want to leave. Thank you so much Maggs.

Well appointed, clean & spacious

We had a lovely time at the villa, using it as our base while here for a family wedding. The house is clean, well decorated and well stocked with all you need for a week here. I like that it's quiet and a little out of town. Taxis and parking were easy when we needed them, we didn't attempt what google said was a 40 minute walk to town. I'd happily come back again Dominic & Natalie

Awesome!!!

The villa was absolutely amazing! It exceeded our expectations!!! The open plan aspect is awesome and the stairway is a brilliant feature. Strangely, we have the same Spanish dish that you have on the table, the same wicker heart and we had the white candle holder on our wedding table so it felt very much like home!! The location was fabulous . . . If you didn't want to wander far, there is a great bar with a good selection of food available . . . There is a super lush restaurant called Avalon within a tiny walking distance too if you wanted a posh night! The communal pool was super clean!! It was a good 25 minute walk to town but we walked in and got a taxi back - taxi availability was no problem - we absolutely loved this place and we are very well travelled. Everything you could want is found in the villa with lots of lovely touches like DVDs, books, games - will definitely re-visit!!

Winter Stay in Casa Miguel

My partner and I have stayed at Casa Miguel villa on the Tropicana urbanization for several winters and have enjoyed a relaxing holiday in this delightful, comfortable and clean terraced villa...The property is very well maintained and is equipped with everything that you may need for a self catering holiday. The Villa has a private garden with uninterrupted mountain views, along with a large covered terrace downstairs, and an upstairs terrace which is accessed from the main bedroom...The villa has excellent local amenities including a communal swimming pool in the summer months, and a restaurant bar which is within walking distance of the villa... Also the Marinas hotel is only ten minutes walk away and offers the use of it's facilities to non residents, including meals and drinks on an all inclusive basis for a set price of €15... The Villa is ideally situated for visiting Nerja, Torrox and Frigiliana either by car, or you can catch the local blue bus into Nerja for €1, and from there the National bus service will take you further afield ..... both Almunecar & Malaga are within easy reach... I would have to honestly say that our holidays in this property have been some of the best that we have had, and allowed us the freedom to visit our favourite part of Spain whilst having all the comforts of home. The owners have always been very obliging and helpful, and dealt with our Email booking promptly... The Couple who deal with the Cleaning and maintenance of the property live quite close by and are happy to help in any way they can to make your stay a pleasant one..... Over all a great place to stay, highly recommended! Thank you.....

The property was everything it promised to be, Very Well equipped and clean. Lovely quiet development, close to beach and plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.Lovely views. I am a retired teacher from Yorkshire and have been visiting Nerja over the last 30 years with my family. My two daughters are now grown and are both carrying on the tradition of raising their families on holidays in Nerja! My two daughters and I are jointly responsible for the running of A32 Casa Miguel. Over the past 30 years we have seen the town grow into a popular tourist destination. We continue to love the place as it has not lost the feel of the small fishing town that we experienced when we first visited. Nerja is a place where you can still observe and experience real Spanish family and community life - you only have to watch the local community come together at the many fiestas that take place throughout each year.

Why they chose this property

As a family we were introduced to Nerja by an old friend. After spending a couple of holidays on Urbanisation Tropicana, including spending one Christmas there, we were impressed with the friendliness of the urbanisation, the large pool and the proximity to a quiet beach. We feel that the location of Tropicana is ideal as it is a quiet area on the outskirts of Nerja, however it is easy to either walk along the beach, use the regular bus service or drive into the town. When I visit, one of my favourite ways to spend the day is to walk into Nerja along the quiet beach road, stop for a coffee on the Balcon De Europa, in the town, and watch the world go by, then stop off on the beach for a plate of locally cooked paella, before having a dip in the pool and relaxing in the garden!

Casa Miguel is situated in a quiet location within Tropicana. It boasts a private garden, terraces and gas BBQ. Furnishings in the house have recently been improved to give a light, bright and modern feel. The house is very well equipped with everything you will need to have a very enjoyable holiday, for example free WiFi, Cable TV, flat screen TV & DVD player, microwave and washing machine etc. The house is well situated for Nerja's beaches and the town in addition to exploring the surrounding area, which includes the beautiful mountain village of Frigiliana, neighbouring coastal towns of Torrox, Torre Del Mar & Maro and places further afield such as Granada and Malaga.
