Great weekend stay in this period farmhouse, four middle-aged couples. Very spacious accommodation with fantastic facilities. Well equipped kitchen with little extras. The games room was a hit with the men! Communication with the owner was excellent- answered all questions promptly. Would definitely recommend.
Thanks Andrew for letting us stay in your wonderful place. Everything we needed was there and we took advantage of the tennis court and games room.
Good location with lots of activities within a reasonable drive. We particularly enjoyed the rare breeds farm.
The pictures do not reflect how old this cottage is, with many period features. Very nice.
Had a fantastic weekend at Church Elms Farmhouse. So many ‘sitting out’ areas and games room was enjoyed by all the family especially our two grandkids. Andy very quickly sorted a minor problem.
Absolutely stunning place! It was warm and cosy and the amenities (games room, tennis court, plenty of books, boardgames, playstation etc) are so much more than we expected. By far the best was the room with the fireplace. We could have stayed for another week easily. Andy is a great host, communication is excellent and loved the little touches he put in to make our stay even more special. Thank you! We will be coming back in the summer hopefully.
Nice farmhouse and grounds, felt right at home lots to do just a nice break away for the family.
the owner was very helpful and great suggestions about the the village.
House was comfortable, plenty of character, plenty of space and perfectly equipped. Games room is great . Log fire was lovely for a cold evening. Beds are all comfortable and bedrooms have good storage. Would love to stay in the summer and make more use of the outside space
Wonderful property with all the facilities we could ever need to make our stay a truly memorable one!
Many thanks to Andy (landlord) for his flexibility with the check in time, really appreciated it 😊
Would definitely book this property again.
Thanks
Martyn

Three generations, all enjoyed the facilities at Church Elms Farm. A thoughtful welcome package set the tone for our stay, we would definitely recommend it. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well kitted out and the games room and tennis court were fab!
3 generations, 7 of us altogether & we all LOVED our stay! Busy all day playing pool, tennis, table tennis, darts, trampoline then games in the evening! Period property which was beautiful & everything you would need. Am so thankful to have found it x precious memories made with my grandchildren.
The property was perfect for the occasion of our Golden Wedding. It was very well equipped and in particular the games room and other outside amenities were great. We had a wonderful time whilst staying at Andys' Farm House and would certainly recommend it.
The house and grounds are exactly as described and provide a wonderful place to have a family holiday. Our young children really enjoyed the trampoline as well as the pool and games room. It was lovely to be able to walk down to the bottom of the tennis court and then to the open field beyond where horses and the donkey were kept. Everyone enjoyed playing tennis. It was also particularly nice for me be able to show my eldest grandson how to play chess. A board have been set up in the lounge ready to go.
The kitchen was very well stocked with all the utensils pots and dishes you could wish for. The dining room was a lovely place to gather and share meals.
Bedrooms were very comfortable we all had great nights sleep.
Our thanks to the host Andy who provided a lovely welcome pack and was very flexible when we wanted to change one or two things. I cannot rate this holiday home highly enough.
Another wonderful stay at Church Elms Farm. The games room is fantastic, keeping both adults and teens entertained. And not forgetting the big field out back for the dog to enjoy!
A unique old house, spacious, with pool, games room tennis court, beautiful garden full of places to sit, a fenced pond and a pub restaurant, the Pig and Stye not far. A gem of a place to stay. And a generous welcome pack. We will be back!
