Seaspray sits directly on Pagham Beach, a wonderfully peaceful location. Based around a Victorian railway carriage Seaspray has been lovingly renovated to include all the comforts of modern living including central heating and double glazing. Seaspray is perfectly positioned to watch the sun rise over the sea and set in the back garden. The area is known to be the "sunniest" in Britain so whilst it is raining inland the beach is often bathed in sunshine. Even on a wet day it is a swift retreat from beach to comfy sofa. Pagham is a relatively unknown area of coast with empty beaches on most days. The area is undeveloped and has kept it's charm of yesteryear whilst being close to towns and cities.

Just what we wanted right on the beach, beautiful Pagham harbour and countryside near by. Property equipped with every little thing you need, Co-op really close, fish and chips and even the little arcade to amuse kids and adults! Samantha was a great host, responds very quickly, not that we encountered any problems during our stay. Didn't want to leave!
This is a very pretty and comfortable cottage. It is well equipped and in a peaceful environment. The opportunity to have your morning tea on the beach and your evening apertifil in the setting sun in the garden is not to be missed. The sunsets are truly beautiful. We had so much fun finding beautiful pebbles and felt a kinship with magpies.
All communication with the owner was excellent.
You won't want to leave!
It's the best.
We loved our break, the house was spotless and the location peaceful and close to nature. We had some wonderful walks and felt totally recharged after our few days away.
We had a lovely stay - and very much enjoyed the view of the sea

Everyone enjoyed the 'cottage' and the location. Everything needed was to hand.
We had great weather overall which of course makes every holiday special. Plenty of sun from Wednesday onwards. Even enjoyed the thunderstorm over-night on the Monday. Recommend The Oak Inn for the food and hospitality. Even made a day trip to the I. O. W. The kids had great fun on the beach and plenty of activity at sea to watch and enjoy. Overall, great!

A very comfortable holiday cottage on the beach
A lovely holiday cottage right on pagham beach, you can enjoy the sunrise over the sea from the comfort of the sun lounge on a clear day. The charm of the railway carriage has been preserved whilst you have all the comfort of a recently renovated modern holiday cottage. You can tell it has been loved!

Back again for the third time
Four school friends of many years ago enjoyed another wonderful stay. Seaspray was as perfect as ever, being clean and warm, with plenty of room for us. The view of the sea is amazing, and for us the weather was very kind. The Lamb pub was our place of choice every evening, with 'locals' night on Thursday. Excellent value.

Beautiful beachside acommodation . Has everything you need. Very well equipped and clean. No internet but that has advantages as it encourages you to talk, walk on the beach, be together etc. Highly recommend. Loved it..

Good stay with elderly parents
We came for a few days at the end of June 2016. Initial impression when arriving was "looks a bit ramshackle" - but go inside and it's much better than that! Quirky, clean and with everything we needed. My elderly parents (Mum is 94 and uses a walking frame) managed the outside steps fine as it has a handrail, and inside they had the double bedroom with no step, all was on the level, they were able to cope. I brought a WC seat raiser, but they managed everything else fine. It was great for them, including the good view particularly when the weather was a bit grey and windy. Dad could wander along the beach safely and talk to fishermen. A very good place to take them away to.
We found the Beach café fish&chip shop the first night, but suspect the SmallFry chipshop next to the Co-op is better.
Pagham itself is a bit basic, not much there, from the shops it looks a bit in recession, no pub in walking distance. The walk to the harbour and lagoon is nice.
All in all, a good place to take elderly people, to look at the sea and enjoy the views, sunshine, and sea air, and have a quiet wander.
The owner very helpful with information.

We have never stayed anywhere so beautifully furnished, there was everything supplied, the view was lovely. We would recommend it to anyone as a perfect place to stay. It was so clean. We can't praise it enough.

Lovely stay in seaside bungalow
Walk through the door and you start to relax, open the blinds and the view is stunning. The bungalow is spacious, very clean and very well equipped. Really enjoyed our time here, in rain and shine. So peaceful with a change of scenery every morning. Even bought crabs and lobster from a neighbouring fisherman.

Very lovely stay, best view ever and very kind neighbours
Allthough Seaspray has its age, the cottage was very comfortable, and decorated very tastefully. We rented it as a fall-out base to visit family and explore the surroundings, and Seaspray met up to all expectations. Nice extra was the freshly caught crab and lobster sold by the neighbours.
As for the owner, I can only say that Samantha is an absolute delight to deal with. It's not always easy to get apt information from abroad, but Samantha was kind enough to answer every question we had, and even work out a solution for a charger we had forgotten.
The only downside was the state the garden was in, but I think that was due to the periode we were there.
Overall, I can only recommend this holiday home, and I truly whish to return some day!

Lovely Seaside Cottage
We had a very lovely stay at Seaspray Cottage. It was as described in the listing and all the facilities were very good.
The property was very clean and we'll maintained and had a lovely homely feel to it.
I would highly recommend the property to others. The location and setting was just beautiful with the most lovely sea views.

Time to relax
We are four school friends from sixty years ago, and wanted to stay near a beach in unspoiled surroundings. Somewhere to catch up and relax. The moment we stepped inside Seaspray we knew we had found the perfect place. The atmosphere was so calming, and it was obvious that it had been decorated with love, with so many nice touches, making it cosy and welcoming. Although the evenings were cool, we were beautifully warm. We couldn't have been nearer the beach, so all our requirements were met. Thank you Samantha for creating this place. We shall be back next year.

Our cheeky 5 day get a way
We loved the cottage on the beach,It was clean well maintained, and the owner was very helpful. We have already recommeded the cottage to a friend of mine. We also plan to go back next year. My Mum's face when we pulled up was priceless. She thought we was going to the caravan park. The week away was a suprise for her and much needed chill time for my husband and my self.

Cosy & comfy Cottage
We had the pleasure of staying at Seaspray for my dads 60th birthday weekend. Our group ranged in age from 2-60 and Seaspray catered for us all. Having the quiet beach literally on our doorstep was a first for us all and we made the most of it, paddling in the sea first thing in the morning and sitting around the fire pit by night. The house was equipped with everything we needed and lots more and is beautifully decorated giving a perfect cosy cottage, seaside feel. There wasn't much to do very near to Seaspray other than walk, collect shells, throw stones and watch the world go by but we were looking for a relaxing weekend and that's what we got. If you get in your car there are plenty of other things to discover.
We had a great weekend and can't wait to go back again one day.

Seaspray
Seaspray is a delightful place to stay. Right on the expansive pebble beach that extends far left and far right of the back door it is ideal for sunny blustery walks along the coastline, before returning to a cosy, warm and comfortable home. The whole look and feel of Seaspray is sunny, fresh and bright, thoughtfully done, with everything being spotlessly clean. Our stay was with five of us celebrating our friends 50th and all of us unanimously loved it!

Seaspray, Pagham
Seaspray has a real character and charm. The property is very clean and well-equipped. The location - right on the beach - was great. The kids particularly enjoyed the fact that the bedrooms were old railway carriages! We visited Portsmouth, Bognor Regis and Arundel whilst we were there, and managed to find some great local pub/restaurants, but just wandering up and down the beach was good fun and very relaxing. Sunrise across the beach was lovely. The neighbours were very welcoming too - and we wish we'd had longer to spend there. We hope to return again soon.

A lovely weekend by the sea
Myself and six friends spent a weekend at Seaspray Cottage on Pagham beach. We have been friends since school (which is almost 30 years now) and wanted to have a weekend away without partners and children. We had a really great time. The house being right on the beach is just amazing. The weather was not entirely perfect but it just didn't matter. The house is really cosy and was the perfect size for us as well as being really well equipped. My only criticism is that the kitchen, whilst having everything we needed, is a bit outdated and not quite in keeping with the feel of the rest of the house. Having said that it certainly didnt spoil our holiday in anyway. Samantha was really helpful and flexible . We hope to make it an annual event.

Great location
We had a really pleasant stay at Seaspray which has a fantastic location. The property is well sized and very homely and has everything that you will need for a comfortable stay. It is situated along a line of similarly sized properties, right on the beach, and the neighbours are both charming. They obviously love the peace and quiet of the area. Although the beach is right on your doorstep, literally speaking, I would also recommend a trip to West Wittering.

Exceptional
Our thee nights at Seapspray in Pagham were really lovely. I was looking for 'the perfect seaside cottage' to take my elderly mother to as she hasn't been well and has always dreamed of owning a house by the sea. I wanted something simple and reminiscent of days gone by, rather than an overly furnished, ostentatious beach house. Seapspray was everything I'd hoped for.
Constructed from disused Victorian railway carriages, you step out of the back door straight on to the beach. We visited in September, so once out on the long stretch of pebbles it's just you and the seagulls.
Inside Samantha's attention to detail is inspiring. The cottage is spotless and she has provided for every eventuality. There are kitchen tools and appliances that even Jamie Oliver wouldn't know how to use. Bandaids are in the bathroom cabinet should you cut yourself while figuring out how to use the kitchen appliances, and a sewing kit in case of a wardrobe malfunction. I wasn't clear what the torches hanging from the windows were for, but I'm sure that if I'd stayed longer I would have found out. There is a wonderful selection of toys, crayons and books for children and for the older generation maps, bird books, magazines and novels.
I could have spent the rest of my life staring out to sea from that cottage and my mother felt the same. Every day she says "I wish were were back in Pagham." Thanks Samantha for giving us a truly restful break away. We so look forward to returning.

Seaspray Cottage
We absolutely loved our week at Seaspray Cottage. The cottage is amazingly spacious, light and gorgeous. The location is beautiful and the view is spectacular. Samantha has thought of everything so the cottage is well stocked, clean, beautifully looked after. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and there are some wonderful beaches nearby so we had loads of choice with our daily activities. We will definitely be going back there.

Fabulous beach bungalow for all ages.
Fabulous place. I've now stayed at Seaspray 4 times and enjoyed it whatever the weather. It's well equipped, cosy in the cold weather and is always very clean on arrival. I would highly recommend it to others, of all ages. We can't wait to return.
About the host
Hosted by Samantha Falconer
I grew up holidaying on Pagham Beach with my family, it became a second home, so owning Seaspray has been a dream come true. I am incredibly proud of the hard work that has gone into both buying and renovating the bungalow by not only me but my whole family.
Why they chose this property
My family first visited Pagham in the 40s when my Grandmother and Aunt were evacuated during the war. Thereafter the family would visit annually for week in a rented bungalow on Pagham Beach Estate. Pagham became an idillic escape and as a family we must have stayed in a dozen different bungalows.
We are on our 5th generation of Pagham holidaymakers and very little has changed over the years. However, one by one the original railway carriage bungalows are being replace with modern versions.
After many years of steaming up the estate agents window we fulfilled a dream in 2010 of owning a beach bungalow at Pagham came true. The whole family set to renovating Seaspray. We are delighted to share our dream with holidaymakers to Seaspray and hope you love it as much as we do.
What makes this property unique
We are regularly amazed at just how much better the weather is on the beach compared to our inland home. Often we have sat smiling on the beach in January wearing t-shirts.
There are a range of brilliant attractions nearby but time and again we find we rarely leave the beach.
Seaspray is the perfect retreat with something for everyone. We hope our guests will enjoy it as much as we do.
