We stayed at Canfers for a Christmas break as our children were overseas and what a relaxing, well appointed, well located barn conversion this is. It's been very well decorated and with the enclosed garden perfect for our dog millie. We highly recommend this holiday home, you will not be disappointed.
What a lovely greeting cake and a kind note and spotlessly clean was lovely to be able to have the log burner on in an evening with endless supply of logs.
Really glad we found the property and will be back
Well appointed conversion very well done very roomy spacious rooms. The description of quiet did not really apply as the shade in the garden was near a noisy Road noticeable when out in the garden. Very much appreciated lemon drizzle cake welcomed us. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you.
A lovely rural retreat set in super surroundings, ideal for a short holiday and close to so many places and sites of interest. The property was ideal for our needs and very dog friendly having an enclosed garden area. The property was generally very clean although having a high vaulted roof. there were spiders aplenty.
A lovely base, cosy and comfortable with everything we needed
Lovely having a secure garden for the dog
Plenty of information for local walks and eating out
The barn is just perfect for visiting all the lovely attractions on the North Norfolk coast. This was our second visit to North Norfolk and we were very happy with this times choice of property and location.
Vicki the host was very responsive to emails and the property was as described, she even included a very nice welcome pack that included her homemade marmalade and lemon drizzle cake.
We will return in the future?
We loved our stay at Canifer Barns, we are regular visitors to Norfolk for holidays but usually camp. This time we wanted a more comfortable stay due to having a 5 month old puppy. Canifers was perfect in every way. Fab location which meant we were 20 min from most of the beaches we frequent, plus holt which we also love. The garden was enclosed and perfect for our pup. Everything was clean and we have a lovely welcome pack with delicious homemade lemon drizzle cake! We had everything we needed - we won’t want to go back to camping now we have stayed somewhere so great!
Beautiful, spacious place for the week and much needed time away from it all. Quiet, with everything you could need and more. Enough woods to create a cosy fire each evening, well stocked kitchen and the most comfortable bed!
North Norfolk is a stunning place, the property is so well located that most places are never more than 15-30 minutes away.
Would love to come back next year.
Thank you for the wonderful lemon drizzle cake!

A really lovely break. The barn is very spacious, comfortable and cosy - perfect to return to after a bracing winter walk on the coast and get the log burner blazing. Very helpful owner too
A great place to stay for a short trip exploring this beautiful part of North Norfolk.
Well equipped accommodation, helpful local information and some delicious homemade goodies!
Very pleasant stay here. Quite near north coast, Wells, Clay etc. Also Nelson history.
Facilities very good. TV reception a bit unpredictable but internet very good so we’re able to watch stuff on iPad
I can honestly say this property gave the most spacious accommodation for two adults that we have ever had. Nothing was wanting so found the stay very relaxing. Lovely secure garden for our dog which is very rare so yet another bonus.
We had a wonderful stay at Canfers Barn. Great location, perfect for exploring. Very clean and comfortable, well equipped with everything you need. The recommendations for places to visit and eat were so helpful and we had the most amazing lemon cake to welcome us. Definitely recommend.
Lovely property equipped to a high standard with everything you could need. Some very thoughtful touches, provided including ordanance survey map with recommended restaurants which was very much appreciated. Already looking forward to our next visit.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage is spacious, clean and cosy with all you could need for your stay. It was a good base for exploring the north coast and surrounds. Bonus points for the wood burning stove 😊. Thanks very much for providing us with a lovely home from home.
Extremely well presented property with everything you need. Lovely country walks from the doorstep and a great log burner to come back to. Well positioned to access all Norfolk attractions.
A great quiet rural location, perfect for a base as everywhere is within a short drive/easy distance, be it the coast, woods or towns. The fully enclosed garden is brilliant for dogs.
Canfers Barn was a delight to stay in- the perfect location for exploring North Norfolk, spotlessly clean and with everything we could need for our break. The lounge was very comfortable and spacious for relaxing in after a long day out and about, and the large garden was lovely to sit out with a cuppa and enjoy a game of ball with the dog. The welcome goodies were a lovely touch (and very tasty!). Thoroughly enjoyed our break here, would highly recommend.
This is a great place to stay and in a great position for exploring the beautiful Norfolk coast.
Its clean, quiet and also if you have a dog it has a fenced garden which is very useful.
It's just what we were looking for and next time we are in the area we will definitely try and stay here again.
Also the homemade lemon cake was delicious

A fantastic getaway!
Tucked away in a scenic location, the barn offered a peaceful escape from regular life. The barn itself is even more generous in size and quality of facilities than the pictures let on, and our breath was taken away when we arrived. The owners had made sure we felt welcomed and there was nothing more we could want. We enjoyed our stay there so much that it quickly felt like a home-away-from-home, and it was a pleasure to wake up there each morning and come back each evening. We enjoyed cooking our own meals there, and self-catering is certainly the way to go! The kitchen was very well supplied with equipment, and the utilities were in perfect working order. Everything had been thought of and we were left wanting for nothing.
The location, although rural, is within convenient travelling distance to many interesting places, and even though we were there in the off-season we found many exciting places to go and explore. The coast itself, and the lovely seaside town of Wells-Next-The-Sea is a short 20 minute drive away!
Neither of us can rate this place highly enough, it was absolutely wonderful! A perfect holiday for me and my girlfriend to celebrate 9 years together - and to get engaged! My fiancee and myself could not have been happier with our fantastic time at Canfers Barn!

What makes this property unique
Most of our guests cannot believe how spacious Canfers is - for just two people. The barn is private and has a lovely enclosed garden immediately accessible from the sitting room and bedroom. Private off road parking.
