A beautiful, clean, well-equipped property, lovely garden, good location for visiting Anglesey and Wales, handy for shops and Menai Bridge. Mair is a very friendly, helpful host. We enjoyed a relaxing holiday and would definitely visit again.
It was perfect for a brief anniversary celebration. Mair couldn't have been more helpful. Everything was good quality, which is helpful if you like to be self-catering.We look forward to returning.
Ideal location in quiet surroundings for exploring both Anglesey and Snowdonia. The cottage was finished to a very high standard, and the helpful, friendly owners had thought of everything.
Lovely clean cottage in a tranquil location. Beautiful garden to sit out in.Host was friendly and helpful, suggesting places to visit or eat. There are many places to eat and drink within a 5 to 10 min walk. Would highly recommend to anyone
We had an absolutely fabulous stay. The furnishings and amenities were great. Even though we were essentially in the centre of town, the quiet grounds felt like being in the country. The private garden was a delight to relax in (even though the rain prevented us enjoying it as much as we would have liked).
And on a scale of 10, I would rate the hospitality of the hosts an 11.
Overall, a top notch experience for us.
We loved this cottage it was perfect, location beautiful and a hidden garden.
Mair and Mike were so friendly and welcoming.
Everything you needed to spend a wonderful weekend.
We will definitely return.
Thankyou
This is the first time we have used vrbo and it was great. The cottage was amazing. Well equipped and very comfortable. Beautiful setting with gracious hosts. Will come again.
A lovely house in a perfect location, just a few minutes walk from the amazing Menai bridge and river.
The house was well equipped for a comfortable stay and the bed was one of the best we have ever had. Fantastic communication with the owner throughout our booking and so friendly and helpful, would highly recommend this house if you are wanting to visit the area.
Lovely, comfortable, well-appointed cottage. Beautiful, private garden to relax in. Convenient location for traveling around Angelsey and throughout Wales. Easy walk to restaurants, pubs, and shops. Very pleasant and helpful hosts. True to the description and even better than expected. We had a wonderful week!
Myself and my husband stayed for a weekend break. Beautiful romantic getaway. Great location, we loved that so much to do in walking distance. The cottage is tastefully decorated with everything you need. Just a pity we couldn't stay for longer. Hosts on site so communication was excellent. Would highly recommend as a base for exploring Anglesey and North Wales.
Thank you for a lovely stay.
Excellent accommodation with everything you need for any length of stay.
The location in Menai Bridge is the gateway to Anglesey but please don't rush off to other parts of the island as you will benefit by exploring what is on the doorstep.
First class restaurants (Sage Kitchen and Freckled Angel), coffee shops and a wonderful little deli, (Dylan's).
Thank you Mair for creating a very relaxing space!
This was a beautiful little home with a magical private garden, which was perfect for glasses of wine of an evening! The location is wonderful, perfect for walks along the beautiful Menai Strait. The home was wonderfully equipped for cooking. We had a lovely relaxing time. Mair, the owner, was really helpful with tips for sightseeing, and made sure to ask if there was anything we needed. A truly special find.
Had a great two night stay.
Really cosy property, ideal for a couple.
Beautifully decorated and well designed cottage, with everything you need from a holiday rental.
Great communication & lovely welcome from Mair upon our arrival.
Great base for exploring all Anglesey has to offer.
We ate at Jade village Cantonese restaurant one night and at Dylan’s waterfront bistro on the second night….both very good & at a short walking distance from letting & reasonably priced.
Lovely walks nearby: little chapel & Belgian Promenade along the Menai straits is just across the road, through the forest.
Also a walk across the suspension bridge is worth doing, with great views & good pubs at both ends!
Would not hesitate to recommend and would love to return some day.
Beautiful Coach House with super hosts and great location, we will be back.
The property is even more lovely than the photos on here and the added bonus of a beautiful garden to sit in too! Lots of little extras, all cleaned for safety in the property, condiments and oils and cleaning products, which is great when you are only there for a couple of nights as we were. The location is perfect, close to all restaurants and cafes. Waitrose supermarket across the road and literally a stones throw from the old Bridge. Mair gave us lots of information for arrival and restaurant recommendations too. What a lovely couple and Kipper the super friendly dog. Thank you
The property inside is immaculate, comfortable and modern, ideal for self catering, but set in the grounds of a large country house. TV, Wi-Fi, bath, shower, fully fitted kitchen and open plan living area. You can enjoy a lovely garden with patio and pond. Feels private but couple who own the property live in the main house and will give you a really warm welcome and lots of help with directions and local travel.
Menai Bridge is a great area, prosperous, lovely shops and facilities literally on your doorstep.
You don't necessarily need to drive to explore local attractions or enjoy walks but obviously it's a great base to explore Anglesey.
Nice restaurants, pubs, scenery and good public transport links should you need them.
We had mixed weather during our stay but thoroughly enjoyed every minute as the cottage is pretty enough and comfortable enough to simply enjoy as home during your stay.
A tonic for the senses and beautifully peaceful.
Thank you Mair and Michael (hosts)
Fabulous cottage ideally situated for exploring Anglesey.
A fabulous cottage, exceptionally well appointed, set well back from the road, yet only a short walk from restaurants, Waitrose supermarket, the old Menai Bridge and good walking. Mair proved to be the perfect host, being very helpful with recommendations. Suffice it to say, we will be back.
