A pet friendly, two bedroom spacious and light cottage with FREE high-speed fibre Wi-Fi, situated on a purpose built 5-star holiday complex. The ground floor of the cottage provides an open plan family living, dining and kitchen area along with a cloakroom and entrance hall. The contemporary styled living area features a log-burning stove and gliding bi-fold patio door, opening onto a paved patio area. A brick-built barbecue and wooden patio furniture provide the ultimate alfresco dining experience. A high chair and travel cot are provided for our younger guests.

A selection of books, games, DVD's and Wii games will entertain whatever the weather, providing a fantastic family experience.

Relax in a king sized bed; bedroom with Juliet balcony and one bedroom with two singles. Bathroom has a walk-in shower.

The apartment is a credit to the owner as soon as we walked into property felt like home very cosy and fantastic kitchen with everything you need love the wood burner would definitely stay again

Excellent choice at the bay

Have lots of previous stays at the bay to compare to, and with such similarities between many of the properties it’s the small differences that stand out, here the log burner , helpful welcome pack, central location and daylight via patio doors and Juliette balcony make the difference . In the summer the small patio and bbq area will be excellent. Bay development as always suits families and couples of all ages with facilities and beautiful beach nearby

Perfect Filey Retreat

Lovely place with everything for a very nice stay. Well appointed property in a quiet part of the bay. Well equipped and set out. Only downside is that it was not perfectly clean with cobwebs and spiders in three rooms. Not something I enjoy dealing with. Fridge door was still dirty. And lock flew off bathroom door as soon as we opened it. That said it did not spoil our stay or enjoyment of Filey and all it has to offer.

The cottage was lovely and clean. It was equipped with everything that was needed from the kitchen to the board games and outside games. The location of the cottage is perfect for using the swimming pool and other activities on site. Would definitely recommend the cottage as a base for exploring too.

This is the 4th time we have stayed in one of Nigel's cottages and we weren't disappointed. We had an initial issue when we arrived but after mentioning it it was all dealt with within the hour. We'll be back!

Great place to stay

Lovely place to stay, great amenities and a well provisioned property. Received a nice information pack from the host a couple of days before we arrived which was great! We were also offered a late check out which was nice and meant we didn't have to rush off. Will absolutely stay again! Just one note - we couldn't get the tv to work in the living space, so could do with checking that.

Nice relaxing stay

The house was very clean and the decor was lovely. I didn’t notice the ‘organise your booking’ on the website and went to the office. They were lovely and explained to me how to retrieve information. They gave me clear directions on how to get to the house and information on the site. My host answered my query quickly and even called me to make sure we got in ok. I would definitely consider returning to this house and recommending to friends. 😊

We live in Derbyshire with our two teenage sons and cairn terrier. Our cairn terrier loves the beach and wildflower meadow walks, our sons love the gym, the pool and the many other activities on The Bay and we enjoy the fact that everyone else is having a great time.

Why they chose this property

You will not be short of things to do if you are looking for an active break; choose from cycling, golf, fishing, archery. tennis, kayaking, swimming, gym and more. Then relax over a game of pool in the John Paul Jones Pub.
If you prefer a more relaxed break, after a stroll along the beach, pamper yourself in the onsite leisure complex sauna and beauty room before a friendly game of boules and slow bar-be-que back at the cottage.

What makes this property unique

This cottage is in a great location on The Bay complex. It is light and airy; you will just go into "holiday mode" the moment you walk through the door.

We accept up to two well behaved dogs.
