Private Villa a few minutes walk from the beach, Villa Caloritx is set in a quiet cul-de-sac, in an enviable location overlooking the beautiful Algendar Gorge in the resort of Galdana. A few minutes walk from the beach and the restaurants of resort centre, it is very private, set in a charming plot, with shady olive trees, summer flowers and an 8 metre swimming pool. The villa has been recently updated and is fully air conditioned. It has 3 bedrooms, sleeping 6 and a large lounge/diner area with huge comfortable corner sofa, TV/DVD, I-pod dock and even a 1200mm telescope to admire the clear skies. There is a family bathroom and well equipped kitchen, with microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher and newly installed major appliances. Outside there is a separate utility room, with washing machine. The pool area is located in the sunny, private front garden, with sun loungers and space for al fresco breakfast or lunch.

Lovely Villa in Cala Galdana

We stayed here for a week at the end of September. Met all our expectations..Very well equipped with lovely outside areas...ie pool and balcony..beds were very comfortable.would highly recommend..

Well equipped villa in quiet location

The villa is much bigger than the description suggests. The outside space is great, with privacy and nice views. It is ideally located- walking distance from the centre, either via the steps which we didn’t have a problem with, or not much further to walk via the road.

An amazing villa - perfect!

If you are thinking about booking this villa- do it! You will not be disappointed. The property was advertised a 6 sleeper but now sleeps 8 thanks to the lovely ensuite extension. Comfy, clean, spacious villa with all the amenities you will need. All working apart from some outside lights. The pool is perfect with lots of toys. Nothing beats the terrace with the sunset views (and local entertainment). Handy for a local shop ( less than 5 min walk) and close to lots of beaches which are all sandy and clean. We cheated and used the lift in the apartment block to get to the local beach and town. Plenty of restaurants to choose from if you fancy not using the BBQ. Alaska was a good local one. We did have a car so we could visit places and the larger supermarkets. Kids loved the Splash Sur water park. Would 100% return!

Perfect

This place is a little gem. The location was perfect for us, giving us the flexibility of flipping between the pool or beach. The villa was very clean and beautifully decorated. The BBQ and terrace along with the view made the perfect evening setting. The amenities at the villa were great and owner even provided extra beach towels. We’d definitely go back!!

Lovely property, close to lots of amenities.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the villa. Loved the pool and found the villa to be well equipped and well situated. We would recommend a car but it's not absolutely essential. Lots of restaurants and shops within easy reach. A very easy drive from the airport and also to Cuitadella for a morning out at the market and lunch st the harbour. We are looking forward to returning and have already booked for next year. Loved the nightly entertainment from the local hotel, which we enjoyed from a distance while drinking wine on the terrace! A very minor point is the lack of working outside lights, especially when trying to park on the drive after dark. Catrin was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions/messages.

Fabulous!

Beautiful villa with fantastic pool and terrace! Pictures don’t do it justice, is actually 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and very well equipped for children. Lots of toys, games and inflatables and 2 high chairs which was perfect! Catrin was very responsive and helpful and check in and out was very easy. There is a small supermarket five minute walk away and the beach and town were 15 minute walk. We walked the road way to avoid the steps as we had a buggy but if you use the steps at the end of the road, the beach is only 10 minutes. We had a wonderful week staying here, would definitely recommend!

Wonderful stay

We had a great stay. The villa is a perfect base for a holiday in Menorca. It has everything you need whilst away and just as described/shown in the photos. The kids loved the cupboard full of toys, games, puzzles and books. The beach is a short walk, and the views from the terrace is lovely especially at sunset.

Beautiful villa in quiet, secluded location.

We have a lovely, peaceful stay. The villa was gorgeous, far exceeded expectations. The girl's spent hours in the pool. Its a great size with a shallower and deep end, with steps into the water. The accommodation was very clean and tidy. The balcony has an amazing view being so high up. You could spend all evening drinking Sangria and looking at the view. The beach is a 2 minute drive away with car park right next to it. You could walk but the hill is long with steady incline. Lots of restaurants near by. Alaska and delit were our favourites. Toboggan was great to keep the kids entertained. We would definitely book again.

Cala Galdana

From the moment we arrived we had a fabulous time and very much a home from home with all the facilities you require. The beach a short walk away was crystal clear and one of the best on the island. Perfect for children and adults alike. Catrin the host was always accommodating with any questions and we hope to visit this wonderful accommodation in the future. If you stay here you won’t be disappointed. Didn’t want to leave which says it all.

Idyllic stay in a beautiful setting.

The villa has everything you could want. We had an incredibly comfortable stay and enjoyed exploring the island both on foot and by car. It was wonderful to be so close to such lovely beaches and restaurants. I perfect location to explore a wonderful island.

Family holiday

We have just returned today after a wonderful stay in this villa. The pictures don’t do the villa justice. It has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The outside area is wonderful and the location is perfect. We would highly recommend this villa to everyone and we cannot wait to return.

Great villa & location

Great property & Catrin (owner) could not have been more helpful, very well equipped (kitchen utensils, towels, pool towels, loungers, umbrellas, inflatable’s, games) beds very comfy, great air con & fantastic villa finished to a high standard. 5 mins wall to beach / town albeit down steps, but an easy & enjoyable 15 min stroll using the path & forgoing the steps. Would highly recommend

Great villa close to beach and resort

This villa is actually 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms! Lovely pool and Terraces. Clean and well equipped. No cleaning cloths or sprays etc provided. Great views and sunsets. Lovely island to explore, we enjoyed Fornells, xoroi cave bar, El Toro and Walk to cala mitjana. For food our favourite was the cala mitjana restaurant, Indian takeaway on the square and for tapas the deli called pata negra was sublime. (Opposite la luna). The weather ranged from 26 to 33 degrees and much warmer than we expected. We also had 2 overnight thunderstorms amazing to watch from the terrace. Would love to return.

Perfect family holiday

The villa is beautiful and had everything we needed for our family holiday (2 adults, 3 children under 12). The pool and terrace were spacious and clean with fantastic views of the resort. The location was perfect, easy to walk to the beach or resort and to drive to explore the rest of the island. We loved it!

Ultimate relaxation!

We have just returned from a 2 week break at this lovely villa. It was larger than expected and was very well equipped. Best of all was the outdoor space, lots of areas for relaxing, eating and sunbathing, all very private. The location is perfect, nice and peaceful but within walking distance of the beautiful beach and the shops and restaurants. Catrin was very helpful with our queries and I would not hesitate to recommend and would love to return!

Fabulous Villa!

My Mother, myself and my 1 year old stayed at Caitlin’s villa and had a wonderful time! Cala Galdana is a very classy and beautiful area to stay in and has one of the best beaches on the island that’s easily accessible with a baby. The villa is larger than we expected, with the most amazing views over the gauge, with a huge terrace! The neighbourhood is very quiet and peaceful. We would book this villa again in a heartbeat. Caitlin was quick to respond and very friendly. Thank you for having us!

Lovely relaxing break

Myself and two friends decided we all needed a well earned break and as I had been to Cala Galdana before I recommended the area. This time we thought we would go for a self catering villa and we were not disappointed. Super spacious. We all had a bedroom each and the pool and terrace were wonderful. As it was late in the year the resort was shutting down so only 2 supermarkets left open were down in the village but it was no problem as we had a car and its only a 10 min walk. The beach and bay were fabulous and crystal clear waters. The restaurant on the beach was a wonderful extra providing both food at tables and take away. So pizza and chips on the beach was heaven. We had a paella at the restaurant at the top of the hill 5 mins walk away which was the best we has ever had. Super holiday all round

Absolute perfection!

This is a total gem of a place with literally everything you could need for a comfortable, completely chilled holiday. The pool is clean, and there are lots of pool toys for kids, so you don't have to buy or pack these. The bathrooms are modern and the showers are amazing. The lounge is super comfy, with aircon throughout. Catrin sent super helpful instructions before we arrived, and check in was extremely easy. We will certainly be back at the earliest opportunity

Lovely Villa

We were lucky enough to travel this year to this beautiful villa ! Catrin was very easy to communicate with and happy to help with enquiries. The villa itself was wonderful and one of the best we have stayed in. Nice heated pool, plenty of space inside and close to the resort. There was also a shop and 2 local bars / restaurants within easy walking distance. We also loved the views over the gorge whilst having breakfast and relaxing in the evening.

Excellent Villa and holiday

We've been to Cala Galdana six times now and cant wait to return, this was our first time in a villa here and this is one of the best villas we've stayed in. Catrin was so helpful and the villa is amazing, completely private and within easy strolling distance of the heart of Cala Galdana, we cant wait to book it again and would hesitate to reccomend it.

Fabulous villa in Menorca ‘s loveliest resort.

The villa’s location is excellent, lovely views over the gorge and a huge terrace from which to view the amazing sunsets. There is a good size pool and another terrace and sunbathing area to the front, screened by hedges. This area catches the morning sun. The villa has been thoughtfully kitted out and is a home from home, even containing toys for the little ones. There is a good variety of birds visible from the villa and down in the gorge nearby. The resort itself is a comfortable walk down a gentle hill, there are plenty of decent restaurants and snack places, and of course the fabulous bay itself. Our party comprised 5 adults and a year old baby. The rooms have air conditioning, there is wi fi and good tv. I hope to visit again.

A beautiful Villa in a fantastic location!

We loved our stay here, it was a truly magical holiday. The villa has everything you could need, especially when travelling with small children. The kids loved playing with the Peppa Pig toys from the toy cupboard, and pushing the toy prams round the terrace. Loads of inflatables for the pool in the garage. The view from the terrace was gorgeous, we saw many a beautiful sunset and then got to enjoy the entertainment from the Cala Galdana Hotel below. Was a short 10 minute walk to the beach doing the longer route with the pram and grandparents, then a further 5 minutes to all the restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the Cala Mitjana and Fuente De Trevi, kids loved Sa Lluna. There is a small supermarket a few minutes walk away so you can stock up on beers and ice creams for afternoons round the pool. We enjoyed breakfast on the beach at the first beach cafe you come across, lovely pastries if you get there early enough. Still can't get over the colour of the sea. Can't wait to book again!
