Spacious, comfortable and good location

Good accommodation for large family. Efficient showers for everyone. Television was difficult to operate. Well appointed kitchen but many items out of reach. An info leaflet about property, with for example recycling info. would have helpful. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Family weekend

Lovely property, the layout allowed each family with their own space and the communal areas were great. It is close to harbour and local shops so good walking, even for small children.

Caiplie House

A fantastic place for friends/family to meet up in a great location for a get together. Met some of the neighbours on the Sunday morning who were very friendly even after some dubious karaoke singing on the Saturday night.

Family weekend

We had a lovely weekend at Caiplie House. It was big enough for my whole family to celebrate my birthday. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. There were a few problems that needed attention, though. A wooden ball had come off one of the newel posts on the staircase, leaving a large nail sticking out. My husband had to remove this,as it was dangerous. Also, none of the remote controls worked for the TV's. Some of the decor was rather tired as well, but we enjoyed ourselves anyway.

Reunion Weekend

Lovely relaxing weekend in this house in Crail Well situated in this peaceful village Quirky layout but clean and comfortable and provided everything we needed Would have been useful to know that we would need firewood for fire but Info pack explained where this could be purchased locally Very pleasant walks along Fife Coastal path just on doorstep

Perfect location on the main street, close to the harbour and Fife Coastal Walk. Very spacious.

The house is very light and bright, with a good size kitchen/dining room and two sitting rooms. However, it all looks a bit tired and could have been cleaner. The recycling bin hadn't been emptied and nor had the dishwasher. The kitchen is well equipped, just need a good sharp knife and an oven glove.
