Stunning studio in rural area has everything you need for a relaxing weekend away. Patio area with BBQ and outside seating surrounded by nature and beautiful gardens
Fully equipped kitchen including air fryer, microwave and two ring cooker made dining easy and enjoyable
We had a great weekend at the studio, couldn't fault a thing. Some lovely touches with apple juice and eggs available in the property, and lots of outdoor space to have a BBQ in the sun. Provided a great base for getting around Kent.
Such a relaxing place to stay away from the hustle & bustle. Lily & family made us very welcome & the accommodation was just perfect for our short stay.
Everything was spotless & we would definitely visit again x
Rural location but easy access to M20 for Ashford, Folkestone and Dover to visit the surrounding attractions. Lilly was very welcoming and always on hand if we needed her. Our daughter especially liked seeing the ducks, geese and chicken and having a fresh egg for breakfast on a couple of occasions.
The only problem I had was with HomeAway. Having booked through them I continued to receive exhortations to download there app. Other emails from them were simply a nuisance with no relevant content at all. When I needed to contact the owner it had to be through them and even that required going through a third party so other than providing a Shop window for the property I found them superfluous. The owners and their stand-in were all delightful and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again. The property is quite unique as the site’s photographs show but it has been a well thought out conversion done with a lot of taste. Excellent
Unique accommodation in a perfect setting. Great location for exploring the sights and exceptional value even during school holidays. Most of the major attractions not more than 45 minutes away. Studio apartment was well equipped, spotless and peaceful. Lilly was very helpful, a perfect host. Bathroom is indeed small if you are a taller person but it just added to its charm. Would definately recommend it. The two resident cats are adorable, Fraser and Sid who seemed to instinctively know when residents had arrived to come and greet them.

A peaceful bolt hole
This barn attic is beautifully converted and set in a remote spot in a lovely group of old farm buildings. Great for exploring Kent.
The only drawback : the roof shape is not ideal for taller folk in the bathroom!

Lovely location
Quirky little retreat, ideal for 2 adults in a lovely rural setting. Close to pleasant country pubs and the village of wye nestled beneath the north downs. The fresh eggs and apple juice were greatly appreciated! Only negative for the wife, no mirror near plug socket for hairdryer, but that is being picky, thoroughly enjoyed the rest of our stay!

Fabulous
Brilliantly located, rural but not isolated and handy for walking, visiting the coast and Leeds Castle. Had a great time. Cottage had everything you would need but very tall people need to consider the bathroom's apex ceiling!

lovely studio in a charming area
We (2 adults and 2 kids) have spent 4 nights in Lilly's studio. We were very well welcomed with some local gifts (eggs of the farm, home made jams, farm apple juice). we really enjoyed our time in this good size studio. There is a fantastic view on the country side and a good range of DVD (with a selection for the kids). the beds were comfortable.
we felt that it was not particularly easy to eat there as there is no table except for a nice (but unpractical) coffee table so we were eating on the kitchen island which was not of the best comfort. As for the bathroom, it is cleverly designed for the space available but beware that tall people ( like me 1m85 ) would probably bang their head few times on the slopped walls.
We paid 55 £ a night and for that price we felt very happy to stay in this very convenient accommodation which well placed to access to most of the Kent's best attractions. We recommend it

Peaceful retreat
Beautiful location with wonderful views.Very peaceful and relaxing.Lovely owner, well maintained and clean.Perfect location for countryside and coastal walks.
We have enjoyed our stay in the cottage. The area is very quiet and tranquil. We have enjoyed fresh eggs and delicious applejuice offered by Lilly. The are footpaths near the cottage. No real downsides, except that the cottage has no eating table and the bathroom has a low ceiling.

About the host
Hosted by lilly Wilton
I love the countryside and all it has to offer but Bulltown is easily accessible to towns and villages as well, I love history, walking, tennis and my husband Julian has vintage cars and races them
Why they chose this property
The studio is near our 15th century farmhouse which we have sympathically restored over the years.
