The property is just renovated!! Finish 30 of April!House is on the beach!! Front from the house is a small traditional harbour where you can easily buy fresh fish every morning! At the left and the right side from the house only few steps away are 2 sandy beaches with swallowing waters.
The perfect place for families!

Monolithos is very close to everywhere you want to go.

All towels and linen are included. Even beach towels we provide!

Lovely house in a good location.

The newly refurbished house was comfortable, welcoming and very well equipped. Both Anna (who looked after us on-site) and Gabriel could not have been more helpful in answering our questions and making sure that we had a comfortable stay. The lovely, shaded terrace at the front of the house meant we could really enjoy the warm weather and views. We also enjoyed watching the little harbour and its boats. Santorini was lovely. After a day visiting some of the more busy parts like Fira it was a real pleasure to come home to the relatively quiet Monolithos. The cottage is ideally placed for those who want to spend their time on the beach and the local restaurants and café are excellent. The mini-market was great – fresh bread for breakfast - and there are two good supermarkets within easy driving distance. Gabriel’s house’s central location meant that we could easily visit all different sites across the island. We very much enjoyed both the ancient sites as well as Fira and Oia villages with their amazing views. Overall an excellent holiday, made all the better by staying in a lovely, comfortable property with helpful hosts. We very much recommend this property.

Wonderful house and great service

We unfortunately got caught up in the air traffic control issues on the bank holiday Monday - so our flight was cancelled. Steph and Gabriel were so supportive as we managed through the situation and managed to get flights the following evening from a different airport - and thankfully we were able to stay for an extra day. House is lovely - especially the outside area. it is very quiet area but it is nice as long as you have transport to get around. There is a good bus service to Fira but if you really want to explore you need to hire a car or like us hire quad bikes. Steph was amazing in booking this for us, and being on hand at all times during the holiday to help us - thank you so much, it really made a difference to our stay. Captain Lorenzo's restaurant was excellent - we eat there a few times. Definitely recommend but just be aware of the location - it is perfect - as long as you have some transport. Thanks for a great week.

Holiday break with friends

The pictures showed a beautiful property but did not paint an accurate portrait of the overall state of the house. It was dusty on the inside and the bed and bath linen were unpleasant to use and should have been thrown away and new ones provided. Washing machine, kettle etc needs to be replaced as well. Owner very pleasant and helpful but the property needs tender loving care. Lovely location and easy access to the beach and eating venues. Also easy to and from the airport and to Fira and surrounding towns.

Wish we had booked for longer

The property had everything you could possibly need. The location is away from the hustle and bustle but has a beach, a good restaurant on the beach and a well provided mini-market. The host could not have been more helpful.

Perfect for family with you children

Beautiful quiet location, very close to 2 beaches, restaurants, bar and mini-market, all within 3 minute walk. Lovely sea and harbour view from the living room and terrace. Perfect place to chill, not many tourists. Gabriel was a good communicator and with Katerina made everything easy.

Excellent accommodation

We loved sitting on the veranda which overlooks the harbour. The house is very tastefully decorated with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We were worried about being so close to the airport but we did not experience any issues with plane noise. Monolithos is a quiet laid back resort right on the beach which suited us perfectly. However, there are several local restaurants which were all excellent and it is very easy to take a taxi or hire a car to visit the busier parts of the island.

Superb house

This is a fantastic house right beside the beach. The village is quiet with some lovely eating places. The island is small and there is a very good bus and taxi service to get around

Lovely location, great host

Ideally located in a peaceful spot of the island within walking distance of a lovely sandy beach. The seating area at the front of the villa was very spacious and from it you can view wonderful sunrises. Gabriel was great in communicating pre and during trip.

Exactly what we needed

If you are looking for the cliff views of Santorini, stay on the other side of the island. If you would like to sleep to the sound of the ocean and be able to have your kids play on the beach that is less than 50 meters away (has a nice splash pool), this is the place. Monolithos is a sleepy fishing town, but it is great place if you like low-key. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely place for a quiet, relaxing week......!

Gabriel's House has everything required for a small family, or two couples, to enjoy a relaxing week on Santorini. We used it as a base to see much of the rest of this beautiful island. Monolithos itself is a small, quiet resort with lovely beaches, three good restaurants, one small, up-market hotel, a supermarket and a sandwich shop, we found all we needed there for our week with friends. We rented a car to see much of the island in our week there and highly recommend visits to Fira, Oia and Kamari Beach, beautiful spots! I would highly recommend Gabriel's House on the Beach, Santorini!

a very nice and quiet place to be !

a very nice house, very clean, and a lovely furnished terrace, where you can stay for watching the sea... Gabriel ans Savina take care of us, really friendly ! My daughter forgot some things in the house, and they sent it back to us in France : thanks again for your kindness. The house is in a little town, fare from the numerous tourists ok fira . Very pleasant !

Wonderful location on a beautiful island

Myself, wife, mother and brother visited Gabriel house for 1 week on 13/9/16. The house is located overlooking a lovely little harbour steps from the beach. It is in a quieter part of the island (which we wanted) with a few restaurants and a mini market within a couple of minutes walk. Although away from the main tourist attractions they are all a short distance away in a hire vehicle or the local bus stop is 1 minute away. We hired quad bikes which is a fantastic way of seeing the island and a lot safer than you may think. The local drivers aren't chaotic and impatient like in other countries. Gabriel was great throughout our stay checking we had everything we needed and to contact him if we needed anything. The house was a home from home. With plenty of clean towels, sheets, cutlery, washing machine, etc, etc, everything you needed for a comfortable relaxing stay. I could go on forever but basically Gabriel house was perfect for us and the island is stunning. Amazing sunsets and sunrises. Sunrise from veranda is special. I can highly recommend Gabriel house on the beautiful island of Santorini and hope to return sooner rather than later.

Perfect

We had a wonderful week at gabriels house. It was so well equipped. We loved the beautiful terrace..listening to the waves. ..we ate at Captain Loizos many times .gorgeous food. Cannot praise the house enough..we loved it. Gabriel was so helpful sorting out taxis for us and making sure we had everything we needed.

Great time

Perfect location like a home from home

The house was exactly like it was described the beach couldn't be closer and everyone we met in the local area and beyond was friendly and helpful. The local restaurant had a good choice of food and prices were excellent, the Greek yogurt with honeyed orange slices was delicious. Clean, comfortable with everything you need what more could you ask for, thank you Gabriel.

A fantastic home from home with amazing views

Five of us spent a fantastic week in this beautiful house. It's situated right on a beach opposite a picturesque little harbour that has the most amazing sunrise views. The house has virtually everything you could need in the bathroom, kitchen, and bedrooms, even down to beach towels, bath towels and all bedding. It was clean and comfortable, and the air con in the bedrooms was extremely welcome. We didn't eat in that much as there are a restaurant and taverna within five minute's walk (as is the bus stop to all local towns every hour). Captain Loizos restaurant was our regular haunt, with fantastic fresh food and lovely welcoming service. There is also a small minimarket for regular supplies near the bus stop along with a takeaway sandwich bar for beach supplies. We spent many hours relaxing on the beautiful terrace of the house, it is so comfortable, and just the place to watch the world go by. Gabriel, the owner, did everything he could to make our stay one that we'd remember, including sorting us a pick-up from the airport on arrival and leaving various fruit and drinks in the fridge for us. We had regular texts from him to check everything was all ok (which it was of course). Monolithos beach is a five minute stroll away, with soft black sand and crystal clear sea where you can hire 2 sunbeds and shade for €5 a day. We met some lovely people while we were there and can't recommend it highly enough. The only thing wrong was that we only had one week there and needed longer :-) We hope to return one day!

A delightful house with a stunning terrace

A very comfortable and well equipped house in a good location. We were well looked after by the owner and his friend George in the local restaurant. Good bus connections to the rest of the islands and good taverna within a few minutes' walk. Lovely sunny terrace with stunning views at front of house.

Fantastic stay - wonderful views, great location

Perfect stay - particularly for those looking to get a more authentic experience of Santorini. The house was identical to the pictures, just a stones throw away from a quiet beach and providing idylic views of the harbour, pier, beach and sea from a very spacious patio area. Located not too far from the airport, this property provided the perfect escape from the bustle of the touristy areas (which were just a short drive away). The house was easy to find using the owner's instructions. Situated within just a 50m walk from both a local shop which provided all the necessities and Captain Loizos' restaurant (which we found ourselves dining at most evenings), we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Gabriel was hugely helpful and accomodating, the house was clean and equipped with everything you could need. I could certainly recommend Gabriel House to anyone looking to visit Santorini!

Fantastic!

Really enjoyed our stay at this very well equipped apartment which is right on the beach. The veranda is huge and extremely well furnished with a stunning view of the harbour. We loved the peace & quiet here, watching the fishing boats come & go. Saw some stunning sunrises too! The local fish taverna was excellent and all the locals are very friendly and helpful. Staff at the village shop, local supermarket & fantastic local bakery could not be more helpful. We particulary enjoyed being on the "quiet side of the island" away from the busier tourist locations and yet we were just a short drive from all of these places. Monolithos, Santorini is a wonderful place to stay for a relaxing holiday. We are already planning a return visit and will definitely be staying at Gabriel's villa again. The owner was very helpful during the booking process and throughout our stay.

A gem of a spot

Great location across the road from the sea. Gabriel and Anna were excellent hosts. Beautiful sunrises and a quiet area. We recommend to anyone planning a trip to Santorini.

Amazing!!

Exceeded expectations. Very roomy. Gorgeous view. Loved the front patio. Had everything we needed. A car to get around the island is a must. Host was amazing. Would highly recommend.
