Wonderful spacious clean well equipped cottage. Position easy access for town and coast. Very quiet road and no sounds from adjacent properties either.
Very relaxing and comfortable . Cutlery ,crockery, utensils and glasses all matching and sparkling clean.
Would definitely revisit.
Lovely cottage in a fantastic location, can easily access the whole town and all of Tenbys sights by foot, and the beautiful beaches are on the doorstep! The cottage is basic but has got everything you need, really comfortable stay, well maintained, spotlessly clean, kitchen very well equipped. Great value for money. Could do with updating the check in & out times on the property description to reflect the new times of 5pm check in and 9am check out, although Helen did accommodate the original times when I requested. Looking forward to visiting again.
A great location to beach and restaurants.
It's inconvenient that they didn't have condiments even tea and coffee plus bath towels. Very late check in time too early check out time. It was okay experience.
A lovely short stay over new year. Communication with Helen before and during the stay was excellent. Property is in a great location, close to town, the Esplanade, beaches and coastal path. Property is basic but well equipped, with all you need. Would definitely stay again.
We had a great stay in Rose Cottage, nr South Beach, Tenby. The property was spacious had all the essential amenities and what a superb location. The 1st week the temperature was hitting mid 30's and it was such a relief to return to a cool house after a day at the beach, shower and enjoy the evening. When the weather turned in our second week the house was always somewhere comforting to return to and settle in.
Helen (host), had been most accommodating with some extra guests we had for a brief stay and communication was very pleasant, quick and efficient.
All instructions we clearly laid out so check in/out and various controls were very easy to manage.
Our only disappointment was the outer decked rear area; although, great for air drying washed beachwear and towels, it wasn't really big enough to sit out and enjoy an evening meal or a few pre dinner drinks in the glorious warm evenings when we didn't have any energy for a walk into Tenby town centre.
Would we say here again...
Most definitely, this was the core, the anchor that allowed us to enjoy a wonderful and memorable beach side holiday in Tenby.
Absolutely loved this house, was perfect for the 4 of us, quirky but not small..
Text the host during the week and received immediate reply.
Beds comfy, kitchen and bathroom clean and spacious. Plenty of kitchen equipment.
Loved having the dishwasher, washer and large fridge freezer.
If it went for the fact we always go somewhere different we would definitely return!
The cottage was lovely and clean and in a great location. The host was very welcoming and communicated well with us. We had a lovely time and will hopefully return again
The property is in a good location, and a decent size. Due to COVID, it was quite barren, as all the cushions, and other accessories were removed. We had to also take our own towels and hairdryer. Not the owners fault. We were allowed to check in early which was great, but the 09:00 am check was a bummer. No outdoor space at all. So it was adequate, without any frills.
Fantastic property right in the heart of Tenby. Literally 2 minutes from South beach, and a 5 minute walk into the town centre. Location could not have been better . Cottage had everything we needed for our stay and was clean on our arrival . Instruction for our stay were very clear and Helen was in communication for anything we needed. Highly recommend
Very dated and needs decorating and new furniture! Mirrors everywhere over 20 in total but none positioned for dressing and hair and makeup ! Only 2 toilet rolls for 4 of us for the 3 night stay ! ! Description states 2 bathrooms infact only 1 shower over bath downstairs and a single toilet upstairs !! Only a small square yard outside
The clock too. Is ideal for both the town and the beach ! Would I stay again ? No sorry

Great position near the beach and in town
We had a delightful stay in Rose Cottage over the New Year period, we were a group of friends meeting up. The house is warm and comfortable and Helen met us and showed us how everything works, it's very simple.
The house itself is in a great place, the interior is slightly dated but it was very comfortable, warm and it had all we needed to cook and stay.
The kitchen is very well equipped.
We had a delightful stay and all thought the cottage was very good value. We would come back and do it again. Hopefully, soon for long walks on the beach and to explore the lovely town.

About the host

We love Tenby and bought a business here so that we could stay.
Quaint and Victorian, Rose Cottage was purchased with a view to retirement and has been offered for holiday rental for a few years now. We love it and hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do.
Rose Cottage is just a short walk from the medieval town wall which encompasses an array of pubs, restaurants and shops.
Rose Cottage is a great base to explore Pembrokeshire, Britain's only Coastal National Park, and neighbouring Carmarthenshire, famous for the legend of Merlin and the poet Dylan Thomas's Boat House with spectacular views over the estuary.
Why they chose this property
When guests first enter Rose Cottage they coo 'isn't it lovely?!' - that's just how we feel about it... Guests feel quickly at home and enjoy spending time here as much as exploring Tenby, Pembrokeshire, and surrounding counties.
What makes this property unique
Spacious and light but homely and comfortable. Ideally located for beach and shops - no need to drive unless you want to!
