Close to the center of St. Ives and yet quiet. The living area in particular was spacious. In my opinion, the complex consists exclusively of vacation apartments and is in a well-kept condition. Everything worked without any problems. We felt comfortable.
This was a lovely clean modern apartment every thing you needed was there. The only downside for me was the quite steep hill to get to it but taxi's from the town centre are only about £5 and it was definitely worth it but all in all we had a wonderfull stay.
My wife is disabled and this property was perfect for her. It didn’t end at that, every aspect of the apartment was so good it made 3 days seem like a week. Had to drag her away but will be back. Thank you for the welcome gift, fabulous. Need to emphasise the parking requirements, got caught but not your fault. Won’t happen again. Thank you so much.

We had a lovely time. Great apartment, great location and great communication from the owners (thanks for the 'welcome' gifts of wine and cream tea)!
The area and property definitely lived up to expectation. Great communication with the hosts and all in all an amazing stay in a perfect property.

Beautiful property in a great location. We would definately visit again. Thank you.
Beautiful property in a great location. We would definately visit again. Thank you.
Lovely property with parking, in walking distance of the town centre and Porthminster beach. We had a fantastic few nights and the flats was comfy, cosy and well equipped with a lovely outlook including sea peeps and a view across to Godrevy. A great find for us!
We had such a lovely stay, perfect apartment spotlessly clean but still felt homely. The kitchen is really well equipped and the thoughtful extras like milk in the fridge and basket of goodies was very much appreciated after a long drive. Great location for a short walk down to the harbour or beach. Would happily stay again and recommend to everyone!

Clean, comfortable, peaceful
We love this property. We’ve stayed there before, a couple years ago, and made it our choice for a return visit. St Ives can be crazy busy in the summer, and being up the hill at night, but still close enough to walk down for meals, shopping and the beach is just wonderful.
Very nice apartment, have stayed before a few years ago. Ideal for two couples. The use of the park and ride to get to the town is the best option from Erith Station.
The owner very helpful and obliging.
This property is amazing. Lovely location . Apartment is perfect. So comfortable. I could live there! Bed comfy, bathroom lovely. No faults at all. Communication great.
Would definitely stay again
An excellent apartment which is very well presented and would highly recommend to anybody taking a trip to wonderful St.Ives. A short walk into town and the parking space is a must in St. Ives as it gets very busy. A perfect base for a short break or a week as we did and I am sure we will return.

Good location & great value for money, especially given it is in St Ives
New looking modern apartment with two bedrooms & two bathrooms & sea view & added bonus of parking.
Nice touch to have a welcoming pack including milk, wine, chocolates & clotted cream tea, along with a welcome note, thankyou.
We both loved staying with you, we had an amazing stay, could not fault a thing. It was a big hilly, but that is not your fault. Thanks for everything….
Spent a fabulous 4 days in the apartment, and couldn't be happier. The apartment is very close to the town centre -
9 or 10 mins walk with a pram, less if you can walk down the steps straight onto the main street. The time taken getting into the town is quickly negated by not having to endlessly drive around looking for a parking space, or then having to walk from those car parks.
The apartment was spotless and well-equipped. Easy to gain access, with great communication from the hosts.
It rained for the majority of the time we were there, but the garden was lovely and we'd have made use of it had the weather been better.
Would highly recommend it, and we'll be looking to come back again.
The property was welcoming on arrival with a welcome pack consisting of a selection of beverages including a bottle of wine and a clotted cream tea and chocolates.
The apartment was very clean and fresh, it has a fully equipped kitchen and easy to use appliances. Tv's in every room for entertainment. Comfortable furniture for lounging and beautiful pictures on the walls giving it that homely feel. The outdoor balcony and terrace is private and ideal for a outside chill before or after going out.
Highly recommended for a comfortable stay in St Ives.
Thank you.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Had difficulty with both key pads
Check in process was fiddly as the key pads storing the keys did not work properly. The apartment was very good and accurate to the description. I marked the cleanliness of the property lower as when I sat on the sofa one evening and my keys slipped out of my pocket so I pulled the cushion away to find them and discovered a large amount of crumbs/sand underneath the cushions. I was rather surprised to see this as the rest of the place was very good. Upon leaving we had difficulty in using the key pad to access the bins and left a message to notify your cleaner. As we were there during storm Agnes and arrived back to the flat cold and very wet we tried to put the heating on in the lounge/kitchen area but was unsuccessful. We treated your apartment like we would our own home and as there was only 2 of us and we mostly ate out we left it in a perfectly good condition.
The property was described as luxury and beautifully presented, unfortunately it was neither.
The apartment was very dirty.
We found someone elses nail clippings in a kitchen cupboard, lots of hairs (different lengths and colours) around the edges of the bathroom floors, and visible dirt on every skirting and floor.
The living room rug had a large brown stain in the middle of it. The insides of the windows were greasy and had hand prints on them. The washing machine had black mould in the seals around the drum. The bathroom ceiling was flaked and peeling, it looked like it had been that way for some time.
One bedroom ceiling light didn't work.
The listing described a lawned area with a BBQ, there was neither grass nor a BBQ, just a patch of weeds. The owner blamed this on the weather(?), but the neighbouring apartments do have grass.
There were rusty utensils in the kitchen, receipts & clothes labels from previous guests down the sides of the sofa and silverfish (insects) in the bathrooms.
The above isn't exhaustive, but I have included issues which I have photos of because communication with the owner has been challenging.
They accepted (in writing) that the property was in a poor state and that they couldn't fix it during our stay, but have flat refused to refund any of the money paid. I'm going to have to file a small claims case, which is frustrating.
I would not stay here again and I would not recommend it to anyone.
Property was as advertised and described. But that’s not doing it justice. We’ll equipped and very clean, useable deck area and a sea view. Very quiet, with the exception of some building work at the neighbouring building, but that will be temporary. Welcome pack and note from the owners was a nice touch on arrival. Very convenient for town, but it is an uphill climb on the way back. Parking on site was a god send and a must in this resort.

About the host
Hosted by Cassandra Rawlings and Richard Tomlinson
Cassandra has a life long love of Cornwall borne out of family holidays growing up and holidays with her own son. Richard fell in love with St Ives and the surrounding area from the moment he was introduced to it. It never fails to take our breath away and after years of visiting we still have a list of things we want to do each time we come down. We feel privileged to be able to own a second home here and have furnished and equipped it to meet our own high standards. Whatever your interests, we hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
St Ives is a bustling town with the most amazing beaches and country side on its doorstep. The Belyars is a peaceful location within a short walk of all the bars, restaurants, cafes and amenities you will need for your holiday. You could walk to a different beach every day of your weeks holiday or catch the train to Carbis bay or Lelant within 15 minutes. There are good bus services if you wish to visit other parts of Cornwall although the timetables for public transport are more limited in the quieter months.
What makes this property unique
Perfect location to stay at for special occasions. On New Years Eve St Ives becomes a huge fancy dress party, great fun for all the family either to watch and choose your favourite outfits or why not join in. There is a fireworks display in the harbour at midnight, watch from the Malakoff a great vantage point just a couple of minutes from the apartment
