We stayed for 9 nights at the end of July, I have been to the Algarve on several occasions in the last 30 years but this was my first time visiting Lagos. I have to say it’s my new favourite place to this date. The apartment was spacious well equipped and spotlessly clean.And we loved the local area. Lagos has something for everyone beautiful beaches and caves,lovely restaurants and a vibrant and interesting town, I read some reviews beforehand saying the location was a bit quiet,but tbh the fact that the property was out of the main town was perfect for us and meant we had the best of both, A quiet and beautiful apartment to enjoy lazy days by the pool and then the option to go into town for an evening out and meal. We loved this place and will definitely come back

We were lucky to have a car here as place remote. Kids were sad it was do quiet. Apartment was very clean, mod and spacious. Beds were not comfy throughout. But every effort was made to our extra needs.

Wonderful

This exceeded all of our expectations - the view was spectacular and the apartment was perfect for our family; it is in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. The pool area was wonderful and never busy. It is a short walk to the beach and you can easily get an Uber into Lagos. Would highly recommend.

Love Lagos

Apartment is clean and very well laid out, location is fantastic and the owner has compiled a folder of information regarding restaurants, places of interest etc, property manager Dina could not be more helpful, she is an absolute star and wil ensure your stay is trouble free, we would revisit anytime, don’t miss out on the beach bar Campimar 400 meters away, great food and wonderful staff.

Just got back from our holidays. Loved every minute of our stay. Location spot on, apartment was lovely. Very clean and well set out. Loved the view over looking the sea. Would highly recommend. Was abit late arriving, but kept in contact with the lady waiting to let us in. Was abit taking back by us getting "scalded" for taking wrong road and being late on arrival.... but didnt let it spoil our holiday. Thanks again!

Wonderful stay

We are a family of 4 ( with 2 boys, 8 and 12) and this apartment was perfect for us. We stayed a week but would have loved to have been able to stay longer. We were in the pool everyday (quite often has it to ourselves!), went to the local beach a couple of times and also went out to explore the area. There’s plenty to do but would recommend having a car as Lagos was only a short drive away and is a beautiful town. Would definitely go back! The only issue we had was the WiFi wasn’t the best for 2 children obsessed with You Tube videos! But as everything else was so perfect, that’s a minor issue.

Fantastic appartment

This is our fourth stay at this appartment and it was as good as ever. Really clean, perfect position and lovely people to deal with. The area has two great restaurants and a local bus into the centre of Lagos which is just a very short journey. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone and we will be there again in 2020.

Lovely modern spacious sea view apartment

Lovely well equipped modern apartment with sea view and in quiet area. 5 minutes to beach and restaurants. Best located top floor apartment in small development. Two comfortable spacious bedrooms, living room, kitchen and balconies. Great base for a stay at Porto de Mos, Lagos and the beaches of the Western Algarve. Very helpful and responsive owner and local manager.

Spacious, well equipped, beautiful apartment

The apartment is in a quiet area, one of only around 10 apartments sharing a pool. The outside areas were well kept, the pool was great and unlike a big hotel it was quiet and relaxing. The manager met us and explained everything on our arrival and the owners were contactable at any time prior to our stay and helped with any questions we had. The apartment was spacious, with two bathrooms! We had a fab view of the sea from the balcony. The apartment is well decorated and furnished throughout. We will be planning another holiday here soon.

Fantastic apartment in a great location!

We had a very pleasant stay in this apartment, which is part of a samll building in a fairly new neighborhood in Lagos. The apartment is well appointed, with all the basics needed for a comfortable stay. Its location if fantastic, as it offers ocean view and is only a 5-minute walk to the beach (this is a fairly quiet beach too). The communication with the owner was very easy and the manager helped us settle in at our arrival without any trouble. Lagos is a beautiful little town, with many activities to enjoy, and this apartment is the perfect base to enjoy this part of the Algarve region.

A great apartment with excellent sea views

Well appointed and high standard apartment. A great shared pool. But best of all only a 5min walk to Porto Do Mos Beach. Lagos was only 5mins drive or 30min walk away. Would definitely come back to this apartment and location again.

Amazing!

Perfect! The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed and more. We were greeted and let in promptly which we really appreciated. We were so comfortable and loved the view! Pool was beautiful, and being so close to the sea was a massive bonus. The information file left for us was so helpful and we used it daily and ate in lots of the recommended restaurants which were fab! Would definitely go back!

Holiday in Lagos

Beautiful accommodation and only 5 minutes walk to a lovely beach with two friendly restaurants situated on it... The villa was very clean and spacious. It has everything you would need already in it. We were greeted by Dina, who showed us around and made sure we settled before she left, even though we arrived late in the evening. The pool area was cleaned each day, and the plants were tendered to also. It was spotless. We enjoyed the odd day just relaxing by the apartment. The other days we went down to the beach, which has easy access via some steps at the side of the villa. There are 2 restaurants on either side, but as a personal preference, we liked CampiMar, with lovely friendly staff, good cocktails and gorgeous food. (A must try for meat eaters, the Beef Loin Portuguese style). We enjoyed coffee and breakfast here each morning. There is a bus stop at the beach by CamiMar for the bus that takes you into Lagos town centre, we didn't take the bus, but we were told it is about 1.20 for a returned ticket. In the evenings we took a taxi from the villa to the town (6 – 7 Euros), where there are plenty of restaurants and bars for you enjoy. We planned for our holiday to be all about relaxing and time away from our hectic lives, and I can say, this holiday was all that we wished for, and we are hoping to go back with our children next year, who I know will also love it!

Fantastic Villa in a fantastic place

We had never visited Portugal and did not know what to expect but after arriving at the villa we new we had made a great decision. This villa has everything you could wish for and fantastic is an understatement. It is absolutely fabulous inside and has a balcony which the sun shines on all day. It even has English Television!!! It has magnificent views over the Atlantic and has 2 great restaurant/bars only a short walk away. I really cant recommend this place enough.

Beautiful, just like the photos!

We had a fabulous stay in a beautiful luxurious apartment. Especially loved the shower with the three side shower heads, never tried the jacuzzi bath. A car is really essential, although Lagos and the shops are really only down the road, but it's a long one that goes up and down and up again! Definitely you wouldn't think of walking that . The beach is also a walk away but beautiful and there are two restaurants there and a sort of takeaway. Althought there are a lot of steps to reach the beach, so not recommended for those with impaired walking or no energy, but very good if you want to get fit, also good for the heart. All and all , I would highly recommend this stunning apartment with its beautiful pool.Dina and Marcelle were great too! Marie Redmond

Amazing high-quality apartment, fabulous sea views

This is a very high-quality apartment. The fittings are absolutely superb; luxurious and stylish. The location is exactly as described: a 5 minute walk down to the beach, with beautiful views of the sea from the living room, terrace and master bedroom. I will be back!

Beautiful views and quiet just outside of city center

The place was really pretty and comfortable. Spotless on our arrival. Very good instructions on everything… appliances, umbrellas etc even had left over ice cream in freezer from owners visit! Enough closet space to move in for at least a month! Easy walking distance to beach with 2 wonderful restaurants. We enjoyed Lagos and the surrounding areas as well

Relaxing stay!

Marcelle’s place was peaceful and a short walk (7 mins) to the beach. Couple of beach restaurants close by, but we would mainly Uber into Lagos for dinners. Uber was easy to access and it was only a 6 min drive into Lagos. If you’re looking for a relaxing location with easy access to the beach and Lagos, would highly recommend Marcelle’s place! Plenty of room for our family of 5 and a beautiful view from the balcony!

Excellent place!

Property was awesome! Spacious & clean, easy to get to and located close to a fantastic beach. The host was very responsive to our questions and shopping nearby, allowing us to stock up quickly. Was tough to leave and I would recommend it to anyone!

My husband, two daughters & myself continue to enjoy wonderful holidays at our apartment, for so many reasons. The view from our balcony is so relaxing and beautiful, with the beach only a 5 minute walk from our door. We are surrounded by an amazing choice of restaurants and have become used to eating out every night, sometimes at the high quality restaurants on the beach and other times wandering into the vibrant and welcoming town of Lagos, only a 5 minute drive away.
In the past we brought the girls here during the Easter Break to provide them with a more relaxing environment for their exam revision which worked well for years, and during our stays we enjoy days out at the many stunning towns all around, beautiful walks, and various visitor attractions. We look forward to many more wonderful family holidays.

Why they chose this property

We love this property as it is in an ideal location that is relaxing, beautiful and caters for all ages. It has it's own pool in pretty gardens if you want to stay home & relax, and a large balcony with a sea view where you can eat day or night. It's a 5 minute walk from a stunning beach, which during the summer provides water sports and activities. It's a 5 minute drive from the main beautiful and vibrant town of Lagos, a delight day or evening, with a varied range of shops and something going on for all ages. You will certainly never run out of excellent choices for somewhere to eat. It is near 2 first class golf courses, fantastic restaurants, great water parks, the superb Zoomarine and many stunning local towns.

After 10 years we still love going there and have many places still to discover.

What makes this property unique

This property is built, decorated and furnished to the very highest standard and will provide you with everything you need for a wonderful holiday. If you wish to stay in to eat there is a fully equipped kitchen, the balcony overlooks the sea and the pool, gets the sun all day and is large enough to eat out on. If you prefer to eat inside in the cool, there is a large dining table inside. The bedrooms have a huge amount of wardrobe space with very comfortable beds and there is a Jacuzzi bath with overhead shower as well as a separate power shower room.
For us it is a home from home and we hope you will also feel very at home there with everything you need around you. There is a choice of excellent supermarkets nearby and we have left an information file listing various local attractions as well as our favourite restaurant recommendations
