From the hustle bustle of the city to the countryside in Wales. What is not to love. This is such a perfect escape. A beautifully appointed cabin - including a fairies meeting point! - with all the wants to escape from the city. This was a really perfect find.Thank you
Very nice cabin, quiet and restful, just what we wanted

Little bit of heaven
Stayed at the cabin for a weekend break, had a bit of a tough year and lost my mam recently, so wanted some quiet time out.
We stopped off at the supermarket on the way and bought what was needed.
Rita was warm and friendly on arrival and told us all the information needed and then left us to enjoy the cabin, it is fully equipped with everything thats needed.fab.
Can't fault it and will return, my partner and i would highly recommed it : )

Really peaceful, lovely countryside and accurate to the description in the add.
We were greeted by Rita when we arrived who showed us around and told us everything we needed to know. The lodge was fully equipped with everything we needed and it even came with a tourist information folder with lots of useful leaflets and pamphlets of things to do in the area, walks, cycling routes, local shops, attractions etc. We used this for our walks! It was lovely having the duck pond right outside and nice to see they were so happy! The only negative thing I would say is that there were quite a few cobwebs in the lodge, something I'm sure can be easily dealt with. Other than that it was a great place, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a short getaway to the countryside.
Did what it said on the tin, nice and peaceful holiday, lovely setting.
Rita was helpful and answered all our questions and even got a packet of complimentary Jaffa cake.
Definitely go back
We had a lovely week the tranquility of the place really suited us. Good location for places to visit, would recommend a visit to Barry Sidings Cafe the park it is situated in is beautiful. Rita is lovely and can answer any questions you have. Thank you.
Lovely location, ideal place to get away from it all, everything there that we needed, nice touch to have some teabags, coffee, milk and biscuits on arrival. Would recommend for a relaxing time. Plenty of outdoor space at the front and back of the property to spend time outdoors
the lodge was set in a lovely location. very well catered for a short stay. Not too far from Cardiff ( so good if driving) although taxi firms were a bit of a pain when not admitting they knew of the location. That was the only negative everything else was superb. Rita was a great host, very flexible and easy to deal with

Very peaceful and a lovely place to stay..
Great spot to stay, Rita was really nice, showed us around and made sure we had everything we need. We stayed for a few days for a little getaway before Christmas and it was perfect for that. Felt really private and peaceful, but we were still able to reach Caerphilly and Cardiff within half a hour. The lodge was clean and had everything you would need. Would certainly recommend and Hope to stay again 🙂
