Very quiet and great for star gazing as no light pollution. Accommodation is well equipped though could have done with more storage for clothes. Hosts were lovely and any issues they got dealt with. Would definitely recommend for family’s as there is use of a pool and games room. We walked into Kingsand every day and night a steep hill to walk up on the way home but good for burning off a be patties and beer
A lovely retreat on the forgotten peninsula, our hosts were very welcoming and helpful, accommodations was very comfortable, ideal for a small family plus dogs, I would recommend this sight and will come again , Mike B .

Disappointing
The location is superb!
I understand the new owners have only recently taken over, but this is a (sadly) very run-down site in dire need of complete renovation.
Unfortunately our apartment had suffered a chronic spillage of water from the shower unit which had run under the flooring in the rest of the apartment causing a very unpleasant smell of decaying damp as well as making the whole apartment feel damp.
Covid-19 notwithstanding, the accommodation was very basic with inadequate hot water for baths and certainly not value for money.
Sorry, but this is no exaggeration.
Nonetheless we wish the new owners every bit of luck dealing with their new project!
A warm welcome form Theresa on arrival, milk tea, coffee and biscuits were a much welcome and thoughtful touch after a long drive. Location stunning, accommodation as described, clean and had everything we required for a self catering stay. The heated pool
Was a huge plus point and used daily by our 9 yr old. I would recommend a visit to Treganhawke Cliff beach in Whitsand bay, beautiful but for some less mobile it may prove a difficult walk due to the rough terrain and steepness. There may be other access points as it is a long stretch of sandy beach. Kingsand and Cawsand have lovely beaches and eateries. Book ahead if you want to secure a restaurant. Overall a fantastic week. Thank you Theresa and Phill.
My daughter and I and Arlo the dog loved our stay. Convenient location to walk to Cawsand and drive to Whitsand Bay. The property is surrounded by fields with Public Footpaths making early morning dog walks very easy. The heated swimming pool was a huge hit and very clean. Andrew was very friendly and helpful.
We arrived 2 hours after the new owners took over the estate. To be ho eat the property was tired and I. Need of some TLC. The new owners came in when we were out cleaned and tidied the accommodation for us as we were a bit dissatisfied with the standard. We are going to book again the location is stunning I know that the mew owners have great plans for the place.
I would highly recommend a visit. It’s not luxury yet but it’s clean with amazing views

Wonderful getaway - loverly people
The location and views are amazing, cawsand is beautiful and the remote location is perfectly secluded - the heated pool on site was just wonderful for an evening dip too.
The host was charming and greeted us at the reception quite late at night with a helpful smile.
