About this property

Self contained flat spread over two floors, a warm & welcoming home from home. Steps lead down from street level to the front door of this self contained basement/garden flat.

In an exclusive area of New Town, in the heart of Stockbridge, with the Botanical Gardens, Inverleith Park, Dean Village, the Waters of Leith & Princes Street all within easy walking distance. Sunday sees the Stockbridge market arrive with a feast of street food & local produce stalls.
There is no shortage of vintage shops, and unique boutiques for that bespoke gift.
There are restaurants & cafes to suit all tastes, with plenty of choice for vegans & people who are intolerant to certain ingredients. Also a great selection of bars that suit all tastes.

Close by there is designer shopping in the exclusive Multrees Walk, St. James Quarter and St Andrews Square area. Not far from here is the Playhouse Theatre & the Omni Theatre, with cinema & plenty of eateries. Down the road from there is the Broughton Road area, again with a great selection of restaurants, giftshops, bars & bistros.

It would take on average 10 to 15 minutes to walk up to Princes Street, however, if preferred there is a bus-stop right around the corner. The tram-stop is approx. 10 to 15 minutes walk away.

There is a great mix of hustle & bustle, yet greenery & nature right on our doorstep. Beautiful areas suitable for leisurely strolls or picturesque jogs around Dean Village, the Waters of Leith and the fantastic Inverleith Park which has an alternative viewpoint of the castle.

Unusually for Edinburgh city flats, there is a private front courtyard & a private back garden, exclusive to this property. Steps lead from the back door to the back garden.

There are two bedrooms, one double & one with twin beds. There is a beautiful freestanding bath & sink in the double bedroom which is downstairs. Additionally there is a separate shower room with toilet & a separate WC. Just what you need if there are a few staying over!

A visit with no worries

I'm always so thankful to the thought put into equipping the apartment. By supplying basics like shower gel, shampoo, washing up liquid, and loo rolls it saves me having to buy things each time. Brilliant apartment

Check in was easy. The property is modern, well equipped and in a great location. The double bed downstairs is so comfortable and cosy especially with the very cold nights when we stayed. I would have preferred a downstairs toilet as I sometimes have to get up during the night, but for 2 nights I managed. The property is very close to bars, cafes, shops and restaurants if you fancy a change from the hustle and bustle of Princes Street, George street and Rose Street. The host is very accommodating and is only a phone call away if any issues. We come to Edinburgh every year for the Christmas market and we had an excellent stay.

A perfect fit

You just can't go wrong with this lovely accommodation in Stockbridge. The well-equipped apartment is close to great eateries, the botanical garden, and it's a short, walk to the Old Town. Or stay in and enjoy a home cooked meal and kick back with Netflix. It's all there.

We had a lovely stay at this property Which is located in a lovely leafy area of the New Town Conmunication with the host Dana was good The property is in a beautiful Georgian town house,furnished nicely and well equipped The bonus really is the lovely walled garden that you can use especially at this time of year we sat and ate our breakfasts outside every day There are a few stone steps to consider at the property and on road parking is expensive so may need to look at alternative or just factor that into the cost of your stay but overall would highly recommend this property and the Beautiful city of Edinburgh that we all loved

Fabulous apartment in great location!

Everything about both the property and it’s amenities made our stay great. The inside is decorated and furnished to a high standard and is extremely well equipped. The location is brilliant which made getting out and about really easy but is also situated in a residential crescent giving the comfort of a more peaceful location to sleep. Dana was also great to deal with and super helpful. Highly recommend.

A lovely break in Stockbridge

We stayed recently for four days (a family of three). The flat is well located for restaurants, bars and is a short walk to the centre of town, the Leith walking path and the Botanical Gardens. The flat is well presented and we enjoyed a glass of wine in the garden in the afternoon sun. Weekday parking (public on-street) is a 10-15 minute walk away and is £6.50 for the day and can be paid for easily using a parking app.

Very nice apartment in the city

We stayed in this lovely apartment in the heart of Stockbridge for 10 days. It is cozy, well equipped, offers walking distance to the city or a bus stop right in front of the house. Even a nice garden is out back. The owner is really nice and communicates well and very timely.
