Fabulous old property in great location

Loved staying at 3 The Old Police House in Dunster over Easter with my mum and dog. Great location with easy walk to pubs and shops in Dunster, own parking and lovely local dog walks available - especially along the beach/coast path to Minehead. The house was very comfortable, good layout and warm and cosy. Would have preferred the log burner to be in the sitting room rather than the bedroom but would definitely book here again.

Beautiful old property, great location but...

Arrival easy, key box for easy access. entering the house it smelt very musty , dirty carpet through living and dining area. bedroom downstairs very musty smell.kitchen modern and clean but mould on walls from being an old property. Upstairs bedrooms good sizes and good size bathroom and shower room but again both very mouldy . The houses was set in a great location and is old but really needs some heavy maintenance and monthly maintenance to keep it looking good. Opening windows would be great too, keeping the heating on most of the time makes the house too warm through the day.refuse and recycling we did not have a clue what day it was maybe a sheet printed off with dates and bins to go out would be good..showers draining too slow probally full of hair and shampoo (needs emptying) and sink in kitchen very slow to drain too. Garden not very secure as gate did not close properly and some fences broken . Extractor in the kitchen too high to switch on maybe a pull cord.We enjoyed our break but not return due to mould and musty smellls but thank you
