Loved our stay here, the cottage was beautiful. The view from the hot tub was amazing. Lovely secluded location for a break away from the world. Highly recommend and would definitely go back.
The property surpassed our expectations in every aspect. We had a very personal welcome from Robin and were given a tour which made us more comfortable settling in. It is a perfect place for a quiet weekend getaway. Absolutely loved the hot tub too!!! Will definitely be going there in the foreseeable future
The cabis is absolutely amazing! Photos don't do it justice, we were very pleasantly surprised when we got there. It has everything you may need for a short stay. Will definitely be coming back again.
Very nice and clean and tidy loved the hot tub loved the house but wud prefere is hot tub was on the permises so we wouldn't have to bother the owners it was so cosy and warm thank for being so nice and accommodating
Went for just 3 days for a mini meditation retreat. Even though it was stormy weather, I still managed to get in the hot tub 3 times which was wonderful. It's definitely worth getting up early to catch the sunrise over the lough also - stunning view. Overall great stay :)
Property was exactly as advertised and more. Robin, the host was very informative about the local area. Privacy was first class. Would definitely recommend and also return in future.
Just as described, super!!
Great spot for relaxing and enough locally to go and see, all within very easy driving distance.
Would definitely recommend and will return at some stage.
Overall a brilliant stay. Amazing views and lovely facilities. Made to feel really welcome by Robin and his family. Would highly recommend! Just wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks 😊
This family accommodation was excellent for my wife and I and better than we could of imagined. We have stayed in different places before that has hot tubs but not with a view like we had. Accommodation is amazing and Robin the owner is always there to help if required. We will talk about our time here with our friends and will probably return in future
A cosy, roomy and very comfortable cabin-style cottage with all the facilities needed for a quiet and relaxing break. The location was perfect for visits to several NT properties, Hillsborough Castle and the Castle Espíe wildfowl sanctuary, as well as exploring the coastline and islands of Strangford Lough.
The owners could not have been more helpful, providing barbecue facilities and exclusive use of a separate summer house with sauna, hot tub and spectacular views across the lough - perfect for relaxing at the end of the day.
My husband and I enjoyed a lovely, relaxing and peaceful break at Bayview, surrounded by beautiful views.
Robin was so welcoming and helpful as a host, nothing was to much trouble.
We loved the hot-tub and sauna.
We would definitely stay here again.
Thank you
We would highly recommend Bayview as a peaceful, relaxing ,beautiful place to stay. We throughly enjoyed our mini break and we didn't want to leave. Robin was on hand to tell us all about the area and activities available. It is also a perfect base to go sightseeing etc. We preferred to enjoy the lodge , garden, hot tub and its views over Strangford Lough. We also got a chance to swim in the bay just a short walk from the property, when the tide came in which was unreal. The property itself was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Thank you to Robin and his family for being excellent hosts. We would love to return some day soon and do some more chilling. Highly recommended 👌
Cabin has everything you need for relaxing weekend away. Extremely clean and well kitted out with everything you need. Private garden with BBQ and log burner. The hot tub was also brilliant with excellent views over strangford lough. Robin a very friendly and accommodating host. If you're looking for a nice relaxing weekend away I would highly recommend.
Robin was great from booking to finally getting a date, postponed from January. Thanks covid. The lodge was big, warm, and welcoming. The hot tub overlooking the coast was amazing. Def recommend it and will be back. New addition of the suana and shower beside hot tub will be fantastic when complete.
The property is located overlooking Strangford lough and is as beautiful as it looks.
Fantastic stay at a beautiful property located on the shores of Strangford Lough. The property is extremely private and secluded. Robin the host could not be more friendly or accommodating. The property itself is very private and very clean and well maintained both inside and out. Situated close to many lovely walks and National Trust parks. The Hot Tub is fantastic and directly overlooks the Lough. It was very private and was beautiful to just sit in the warmth and take in the beautiful scenery.
Overall this is a top notch experience and one which we will both do again in the future. We could not fault anything about the property, the location, amenities or host. Simply fantastic.

Great location but problems with electric
The stay was very good apart from the fact that between 9 and 4 the electric was turned off our food was ruined and we couldnt use the hot tub we wouldnt have minded if the host wouldve gave us some money back 140 a night and we had to go 7 hours with no electricity no one would be satisfied with that other than that i would recommend hopefully learn from this mistake its not professional to leave people with no electric or heating all day
Myself and my boyfriend just spend the weekend and it was everything we could have wished for with the current restrictions in place. The cabin is so cosy and beautiful, the private garden is also stunning. The views of the lough were beautiful and the hot tube was just delightful. Plenty of beautiful walks to be had. Would highly recommend for a nice, relaxing stay. Thank you to the hosts for a wonderful weekend.
2 nights here was just what the doctor ordered after 2020 thus far. Cabin is lovely, always cosy warm and completely secluded. A million miles away from 2020!!
Host was more than helpful and the check in/out is effortless. Will definitely be back.
Thanks Robin.
