The ground floor features a spacious living room, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower, toilet, bidet, and washing machine. Upstairs, you’ll find the main double bedroom, a mansarda with two double sofa beds and a single fold-out bed, a twin room with two single beds, and another bathroom with a shower, toilet, and bidet. The upstairs is accessed via a stairway through the main bedroom. The villa sleeps 6 comfortably.

Villa Gaskin: Your Private Getaway in Sardegna

We recently stayed at Villa Gaskin, and it was an unforgettable experience. The villa is available for holiday rentals year-round, accommodating up to 6 to 8 guests. Here’s what we loved: Stunning Pool Area: The private pool area was nothing short of paradise. Crystal-clear waters, comfortable sunbeds, and lush surroundings made it a perfect spot to unwind. Well-Equipped Facilities: From Wi-Fi (a rare find!) to towels, utensils, and even Netflix, Villa Gaskin had everything we needed. The barbecue and covered seating area near the pool were delightful. A Quiet Haven

The most amazing holiday, The Villa was Amazing, Pool and Garden were so lovely to stay round each day. Alghero is beautiful. Well worth a visit and would come back to this property again next year.

We had a great week - the outside area is perfect and was clean and tidy. Pool was glorious and again very clean. The 'caretaker' was very responsive and extremely helpful for when we needed taxis or for any questions we had. Possibly better for a family, not great sleeping arrangements for 3 grown up couples! Lovely and quiet and away from the busy nearby town but not too far away for lovely eateries and shopping! Would love to come back

Stunning Villa & Amazing Pool Area

We went for 2 weeks and could have stayed more. only went to beach twice as the pool area here was so beautiful who needs the Sea!! Facilities are excellent and well equiped, will defo come back next year. overal fantastic value for money. it was a quiet out of the way haven, loved every minute.

We wanted a break to have peace out of the town. this was perfect yet only a 10 min drive back into the stunning Alghero port town. Villa had all the amenities you need and of course a pool. will definitely be booking again next year. Thanks Matt.

Our stay at Villa Gaskin

We have visited Sardinia many times and this is the best villa we have stayed in yet. Everything was provided - no hiring sheets, there was WIFI (not often there yet always promised) towels, enough sunbeds for all 5 of us (very rare) every utensil you could need, DVD's, TV, even netflix (teenagers often need to go off and do their own thing for a while) There is a lot of space, you can spread out in the grounds. The pool area is lovely with barbecue and outside covered seating area. The house itself feels like you are deep in countryside but in fact only 5 minutes drive far from Alghero. Just watch when arriving using Sat Nav, Google maps from the airport. Would recommend getting directions from the owner, it is actually very easy to find. We will be returning to Villa Gaskin if it's available!

Peaceful and Tranquil

Our first visit to Sardinia was amazing! Villa in Alghero was a beautiful and relaxing place to stay just a few minutes drive out of town it was quiet and relaxing. A lovely garden to relax in by the pool during the day and a large BBQ for evening meals made it hard to want to leave! Many many beaches and attractions nearby we weren't short of things to do, the location was great: easy to find and close to the airport. All possible amenities provided for with two bathrooms and a cosy atmosphere inside, WIFI was fast and faultless. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone and will definitely be returning!

Peaceful villa with all you need

We really enjoyed staying here as a family of 4 (2 kids under 10). It was our first villa experience and it provided all we wanted - peace & quiet, privacy and relaxation. The kids were fully occupied with the pool and inflatables most of the time, but then happily worked through the DVD library when they needed a break from the sun. We ate outside for most meals, but there was space inside too. We all slept well, with aircon and fans helping keep us cool. The check in was smooth, the pool was maintained during our stay and it was easy to get in touch with Liz if we needed anything. Matt was extremely helpful when we had flight problems and has ensured that the villa has everything you could need, including towels, parasols for the beach and plenty of kitchen equipment. The villa is only a short drive from the town and multiple beaches, although we only went out a few times as it was a very busy week when we stayed (mid August - Assumption Day festivities). It was easy to find and not far from other towns to visit, such as Sassari. We would definitely recommend it.

Wonderful Relaxing Villa - Amazing Gardens

We have stayed at this villa before and always found it to meet all our expectations. The Villa is always very clean with all the amenities you could ask for. The pool is lovely and private with a beautifully shaded gazebo along side. We recommend this Villa as highly as we can. We will be back again very soon.

We really liked this villa. Well equipped, with air-conditioning upstairs which coped with blisteringly hot August. The pool is very good, with lighting for an evening swim. The patio area around the pool has shady positions at all times of day. The parking and driveway were ok for our estate car, but might be a bit tight for a giant SUV. It would be a doddle in a Golf or smaller. We thought this villa was good value for money. The villa was well located for good beaches (which we liked) and for Alghero (which we liked less) and was a scenic drive to Bosa (which we loved). A good villa for a family with 2 or 3 children, we recommend it.

This villa has just had a new pool build May 2017 and wow what a difference this makes to the villa. The villa is ideally situated not too far from the town, beaches or supermarket but far enough away for privacy and relaxation.

Nice house / villa near Alghero with pool.

Pleasant, well maintained, clean and tidy Villa in country setting short car ride from Alghero. Easy to get into Alghero to eat in the evenings or shopping or to the various local beaches. Really nice town / area to visit with nice beaches and sea. People are friendly and it feels pretty safe. Our kids are 12 and really enjoyed it. The pool is nice and new and has a good shade at the back so it's possible to keep out of direct sunlight - pleasant to sit out in the garden at anytime of day.

Maison au calme à 5 minutes du centre d'Alghero

Accueil sympathique d'Ashley, l'agent de Matthew, qui nous a donné toutes les informations nécessaires pour passer un bon séjour. Maison spacieuse, propre et bien équipée, conformément à la description et aux commentaires laissés par les précédents locataires. Nous avons apprécié le calme et encore plus la climatisation !!! Maison idéalement située pour rayonner autour d'Alghero. Mes filles ont apprécié la visite de quelques chats dans le jardin ;-) Nous recommandons vraiment cette location.

What a Gem - quite relaxing

We came across this villa while browsing the Internet. The owner is wonderful and replied to our enquiries very quickly. The villa is located outside the main town of Alghero so is ideal for a quite relaxing break from the normal stress of staying in a town. The villa has everything that is needed and is only a short drive from the main town. We will stay here again with no hesitation. Mike and Mandy

Tolle Unterkunft mit Garten und viel Ruhe

Alles bestens in der Unterkunft. Es war 15 Tage nur sonnig und auch sehr warm. Die Unterkunft bietet alles, was das Herz begehrt. Eine schöne, geräumige Küche, eine tolle Terrasse und vor allem einen tollen Kamin-Grill, den wir fast täglich genutzt haben. Leider gab es in den ersten Tagen eine Komplikation wegen der Klimaanlage, welche dann defekt war, allerdings hatte Matt relativ schnell reagiert und Handwerker aufgetrieben, welche das dann gleich komplett getauscht hatten. (Im August ist es normal schwierig, Handwerker zu bekommen, da ganz Italien Urlaub hat). Insgesamt hat uns die jedoch leider 2 Tage gekostet, die wir anwesend sein mussten. Da hätten wir an sich gern ein preisliches Entgegenkommen erwartet. Ansonsten wie gesagt, herrliche Ruhe, schöner Garten, der sehr groß ist und ein riesiges geräumiges Haus mit Unter- und Obergeschoss, Wohnzimmer, Schlafzimmer, Kinderzimmer, 2 Duschen und WCs und toller Küche. Dort gibts außerdem auch sauberes Trinkwasser aus 150m Tiefe hochgepumpt. Sauberes Wasser ist auf Sardinien nicht selbstverständlich. WLAN hat ebenso super geklappt, läuft dort mit einem MIFI-Adapter, was in Italien weit verbreitet ist (Internet per Mobilfunk, 42Mbit, wird dann von diesem Gerät als WLAN bereit gestellt) . Wenn man dieses Gerät an die richtige Stelle legt, läuft´s perfekt. Auto sollte man auf jeden Fall haben, denn die Villa liegt etwas außerhalb von Alghero in einer Localita (Siedlung). Dafür halt auch sehr ruhig. Nach Alghero sind es gerade mal 5min. Autofahrt, dann jedoch erreicht man aber auch alle Strände. Am Hafen gibt es auch die Möglichkeit, Boote zu Mieten. Normalerweise verleihen die nur diese 40PS-Gummi-Boote an Leute ohne Lizenz. Wenn man aber eine Lizenz hat, so wie ich auch, und man mit denen etwas redet, das man diese Gummiboot-Krücken nicht gerne fahren möchte, dann zaubern die wie aus Geisterhand plötzlich ein top GFK-Boot mit 100PS hervor. Man muss nur reden. Insgesamt also perfekt geeignet für selbstversorger, die so leben wollen, wie die einheimischen und nicht in den typischen "Touristencontainern" (Hotel) unterkommen wollen. Leider haben wir den Vermieter nicht kennenlernen können, da dieser in London war, aber er war nett und die Kommunikation per SMS/email bestens.
