The house is quite tired in its interior and had a basic level of supplies. The pool area was not clean and the lounger beds were old and had no cushions. No pool towels were available. The sinks/basins and toilets all omit a bad smell (like eggs from poor drainage). There was no hand soap or anti-bac surface spray supplied which I was surprised by given the current situation. The kitchen needed more crockery especially plates.
The main complaint for us though was the no WIFI Internet for the first 2 days of the stay. When we arrived there was no router box in the property and it took 2 days of emails/telephone calls to get this resolved (and only thankfully due to a comms engineer husband in situ!) the property company handling this property were very rude and didn’t understand that I was due to be working and one of my children extra online schooling (which was missed) due to the lack of WIFI provision on our arrival
Read the direct contract T&Cs very carefully - we arrived at 2127 and as this was 27minutes past the apparent 2100 cut off for ‘check-in’ we had to pay an extra €100 in cash to the person giving us the keys!!
The air conditioning is good and worked well.
The location is good and the area locally is quiet and easily accessible.
All in all the house was not as I had expected and I think the photos give a very rosy picture. The company managing this property and apparently others in the vicinity are poor.
