Vista Apartments are in a fantastic location being a frontline development leading directly to Goodrington beach with no roads to cross. No. 8 is a very modern 2 bedroom apartment with 2 contemporary style bathrooms and its own entrance accessed via its private terrace. It has stunning views of Goodrington Sands and across the bay to Brixham and Berryhead.

Goodrington Sands offers a variety of watersports, boat hire, deckchair hire and a pub with gardens overlooking the beach (food served all day), it also offers a separate grill in the gardens in the summer. This is also where you will find Quaywest Waterpark, Go Karts and Quad bikes.

Youngs Park with boating lake, bandstand, childrens play area and the licenced Rock Cafe are adjacent to the apartment, where live music is held regularly during the summer months. In the other direction, 2 minute walk away, are Roundham Gardens with stunning views across to Torquay. There is also the Paignton to Dartmouth steam railway running along the coast which can be joined at Goodrington station. The coastal path offers fantastic walks around the bay, to Torquay in one direction and to Brixham and Berryhead in the other.

Great location and awesome views!

We visited for the week and did so much! Within walking distance you have a lovely pub restaurant, beach, waterpark... Plus the town is only a ten minute walk. Best fish and chips can be found in Brixham and it's incredibly reasonably priced. A day bus ticket for a family of 4 was under £14 which was so handy, we didn't need to use the car all week

Fantastic long May B/H weekend away!

Lovely apartment with everything you could need. Great communication with host. Lovely welcome package which was really appreciated. Easy to find and can park either in the allotted space or always a spot on the road. Small veranda which was a lovely suntrap! Ideal for reading your book early morning whilst everyone else slept!!! Quiet location, quick access to Goodrington Sands beach. Only a 10-15min walk with kids into Paignton with all the usual English seaside attractions. Lots of leaflets and information within the apartment on places to visit! We loved visiting Coleton Fishacre national trust, Brixham, Torquay, Kent’s cavern. Also so many lovely walks straight from the apartment, coastal route to Broadsands beach is worth it and great to see the steam train pass right by! Kids said it looked just like the Hogwarts express!!!!! Would definitely recommend.

The property was very well appointed with everything that could be needed. Location was good with access straight onto the promenade. Thoughtful welcome pack including wine and flowers. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely apartment and super host

A very comfortable, bright, and peaceful apartment with great views of the sea and Goodrington Beach. We so appreciated all the thoughtful touches: milk in the fridge, tea/coffee, chocolates, Prosecco, fresh flowers and even a card to welcome us. From beginning to end, the owner Dave was such a pleasure to deal with. Messages were always responded to quickly, and when the apartment suffered a freak weather-related emergency, he raced down late in the evening to take care of it and ensure we would be happy with the solution. I think if he could have, he would have fixed the awful wet, windy weather for us too! One minor note, the driveway down to the parking spot is steep and narrow at points and I was too nervous to drive my large rental car down it. However, free parking on the street was easy to find most of the time (maybe not at busier times of the year though). Overall, a great apartment so close to the beach while convenient to everything in Paignton.

Great apartment so close to beach

Great apartment which has everything you need for a relaxing get away. The welcome treats were a nice surprise and enjoyed by all. Lovely to have Christmas decorations to see in the new year. Views across the bay were fabulous and loved being able to hear the sea. Our boys loved being so close to the beach. Enjoyed watching the train of lights from the beach and the apartment. Great hosts and would definitely look to book again. Thanks

Super views from a well appointed apartment

Everything we needed was available. A good spot to visit places of interest all within 10 miles. The soft sand beach at Goodrington was a few hundred yards away. Paignton andTorquay just over the hill.

Goodrington apartment

Lovely stay in apartment, clean and very comfortable with everything you need for your stay, 80 metres to beach / promenade and possibly the best ice cream ever at little hut near gate in car property car park. Only slight negative for people with any mobility issues would be the walk up very steep drive to apartment, not a problem for us though. Would definitely think about returning in the future 👍

Modern living apartment

We were so lucky when we arrived early we got to meet the owners a lovely couple we have to say they showed us around there apartment it is absolutely perfect everything you need and so much bigger then the pictures on the website and the extra touches was very welcoming fresh flowers a bottle of Prosecco biscuits bread milk etc to start of our week. Location is the best ever down the drive to a private gate on to Goodrington sands ideal also a 10 minute walk to Paignton a bit hilly so be warned will definitely stay here again

Lovely, well-equipped apartment in an ideal location

This apartment was tastefully and comfortably furnished, and equipped with everything we could hope for during our stay. It was located in an ideal spot next to Goodrington Sands, within walking distance to the amenities at Paignton Beach and Harbour. The views from the apartment were amazing. David was very friendly and welcoming, leaving a much-appreciated care package for our arrival and plenty of ideas for what to do during our stay.

Property overlooked also no sun on balcony after 4pm

Lovely property ,very clean, comfortable bed well equipped even down to binoculars for the spectacular views You can just turn up with your clothes personal care & medication Ideal situated for beach & lovely walks Quite a slope up-to apartment Owner did notify us about scaffolding being up We had roofers working on a flat roof right in front of the property for 5 days out of 8 from 8-30 in the mornings which did put a dampener on our stay Having to keep curtains & blinds closed also not nice sitting out on balcony to enjoy our holiday.

A gem of a place

Warm and cozy, with possibly some of the best views over Goodrington and Brixham, the flat was outstanding with possibly everything you could think of and beautifully decorated. Great location. Very sad to leave as one slowly gets emotionally attached to the place.

Brilliant location stunning views

Couldn't faut anything about the apartment. We were very please by the now famous Welcome Pack, it was just as good as everyone says, our name on a board, a bottle of Preseco and lots of useful things. The apartment was very clean well furnished and it had absolutely everything we could possibly need, even down to the board games in the cupboard (which we played some). The views are absolutely stunning and we spent a lot of time looking out, we brought our own binoculars but there is very good one there. We were treated to a spectular full moon for a couple of days. Everything worked well and we were very comfortable and relaxed. The short walk down to the back gate and you are on the beach in just few strides.......brilliant! Local beach is lovely and a really nice ice cream kiosk. The nearest restaraunt is literally a few paces away.... really convenient. Little bit hilly but a good excercise work out.

Perfect seaside getaway, especially families!

David was a fantastic host and we had excellent communication from him throughout. . He sent an email on the day we arrived to let us know our apartment was ready earlier than expected for us and to let us know the safe code to get the key ( covid safe) etc. There was a lovely welcome pack on arrival with Prosecco, biscuits, tea and coffee etc and a welcome sign in our name! The fridge was also stocked with basic necessities like milk, bread, butter etc which was a lovely touch and much appreciated. The apartment was clean and bright and modern. We loved the open plan living space and private balcony/terrace. The views were fantastic and right near the beach. It was lovely to be close enough to hear the sea. Even though there were people in apartments above and below us we never heard a thing. So quiet! There was everything you could need for self-catering even a dishwasher and a washing machine which was definitely a bonus! Also iron and board, hairdryer etc which saved us bringing our own. There were also a good selection of family/ kids dvds and a PS3 and some games, although we didn't use it, and a selection of board games. There were instructions for tv, washer etc and also a box with menus for local places to eat and leaflets for nearby attractions. Goodrington Sands was a lovely family resort with a nice beach and plenty to do for kids with the boating lake amd park etc. It was only a short 15 min walk to Paignton which we did quite often to go on the pier amusements and Geo park. There was also a fairground on the seafront during the summer holidays and a circus. I would definitely recommend this place, especially for families.
