Nestled in a quiet corner of the old orchard lies Hop Pickers Cabin. An award winning Gold 4* rated luxury log cabin. If you are a large family or small group you can take both properties and sleep up to 9 people. The cabin is set in nearly an acre of garden with it's own private gated parking area. Hot tub on the balcony and log burner in the lounge area. Summer months from 10 July Saturday changeover minimum stay 7 nights. Over Christmas, Easter and Half Term minimum stay 3 nights and at other times of the year just 2 nights. Superb facilities include an outdoor heated pool (from mid may to mid Sept), tennis court, woodland walk and badger hide an superb retro Games room.

Perfect winter get away

Absolutely loved this place, as stunning as the pictures look. Warm and cosy. Owners very friendly and helpful from booking to check out. Will definitely be back!

4 Friends and Normy Dog

Just Wow! There is nothing that hadn’t been thought about by Louise and her team everything you need and more to have a first class experience. Beautifully presented cabin with comfy sofas and beds. Log burner made up ready to light. A welcome basket of goodies including death by chocolate brownies ! The log burner was spotless and a great bonus to enjoy a glass of wine after a day discovering the area on foot. The view of the orchard from every door was amazing and so appreciated by Normy dog who was safe to wander and sniff to his doggie hearts content.. He loved meeting the 2 resident dogs Daf and his mate they were so cute and clearly enjoy making friends with the guests. We all said we would definitely stay again and recommend the cabin to anyone wanting a romantic retreat or a chilled out get together with friends it’s a definite 10*+ from us ✅

Excellent break, everything you need is provided, lovely hosts! Lots of personal touch’s, eggs, apple juice etc. Spotless property. Lots of information on the local area and walks available. Hot tub amazing to relax in, day or night. Will definitely return xx

Amazing Cabin!

This cabin is in the elite category of cabins! I rented it for a mini break for my husbands 40th Birthday and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The cabin was extremely clean, very well laid out and contained every utensil you could ever need and everything inside was easy to find. The log fire is a beautiful feature and we made great use of it on our winter break, even making ourselves a bit too warm at times. The hot tub...oh wow! I’d never rent anywhere without one again. It was just so lush to step out of the cabin on a winters day and step into that hot tub. Loads of information was laid out in a folder which included clear instructions for the fire and the hot tub (which was checked daily by the owner). There were walk recommendations and a shelf full of maps! Restaurant recommendations came in handy and details on which ones were open due to Covid restrictions. There was extra Covid guidance laid out and hand sanitizer and extra cleaning solution. The double bed is quite possibly the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. The area around the cabin was so peaceful, we had a lovely walk around the woodlands near the cabin which was delightful. I’ve already recommended this place to a number of friends and we’ll definitely be returning.

Idyllic setting with superb hosts

We had a lovely much needed break away at the lodge. Very peaceful and in beautiful surroundings. Hosts were really welcoming. Loved our little complimentary apple juice from the orchard and fresh eggs. Would recommend the lovely walk to the fox and hounds from the lodge.

Excellent stay in a lovely location

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, if only it was a bit longer. The location is lovely and the cabin is very charming. Plenty of pubs and walks in the local area as well. Couldn’t be happier.

A great place for a little getaway with anyone
