This amazing luxury 3 bedroom apartment is located in the idillic Spanish fishing village of Gran Tarajal, just 25 minutes South of the island, from the airport.. The apartment comprises of 3 bedrooms with an infants cot + high chair,which are available FREE of charge if required.The large modern living & dining area is fitted with air-conditioning.
The apartment as a 45m sq private sun soaked terrace, which includes front line breathtaking sea & mountain views.The 25m swimming pool can also be viewed from the terrace.
The fully equipped modern kitchen includes cooker, dishwasher and microwave. Leading off the kitchen is a utility area & washing machine.Nespresso coffee machine is provided in the kitchen,for all those coffee lovers!
This uniquely located apartment offers lazy days by the pool,gym facility or strolls into the harbour or nearby town with its promenade & unspoilt sandy beach!
The promenade offers a good choice of restaurants of which are all very reasonably priced & to a high standard of food!And for fish lovers the daily catch is highly recommended.


Location: Vista Mar 5J located in Gran Tarajal,overlooking the harbour which takes pride in hosting the Fuerteventura. Gran Tarajal Open de Pesca de Altura. Open Deep Sea Fishing Championship. This takes place in early September and is renowned for its big catches of Marlin,there is a typical Spanish fiesta(party) at the end of the championship which takes place just 2 minutes walk from the apartment,lots of fun!!
Gran Tarajal's location means that it is a good base, it as all amenities to hand and is just a 20 minute drive to the famous white sandy beaches of the south, zoo and water sport regions!

Complex amenities: The complex as a fully equipped gym with changing & shower room facilities adjacent to it.Vista Mar also offers a 25m swimming pool with a separate children's pool. The pool area is equipped with comfortable modern sun loungers & parasols for shade. All this is exclusive for guests & owners only!
Vista Mar 5J is one of very few that includes its own private parking space, directly behind the apartment, this means no walking up or down stairs with heavy shopping or beach bags:-)

Local attractions & activities: For anyone who is partial for a round of golf,Las Playitas is just 5 minutes from the apartment and is set in a idyllic ocean view location.Also very popular on the island is the sport of kite & wind surfing,located just 20 minutes South is the famous beach of Sotavento,lessons are available here at the Rene Egli Centre.

Perfect relaxing week in the sun!

The apartment was perfect for the quiet time away we were looking for. Well equipped, loads of space, fantastic sea view and sunset from the terrace. Leslie the owner couldn’t have been more helpful throughout, from initial booking to when we left. Thanks Leslie, will definitely be coming back! Steve & Kay

Great stay

Lovely spacious apartment which was clean, comfortable and provided everything we needed for a 5 week stay. 10 minute walk into the pretty town centre of Gran Tarajal. Good selection of restaurants along the seafront. Locals very friendly and helpful with most speaking English. The host (Leslie) was there to welcome us when we arrived despite it being quite late at night which was welcome and unexpected . Highly recommended Stephen and Dee

Excellent location and apartment stay over Christmas 2021

We have enjoyed staying Ginginamar Gran Tarajal for several years and two years ago located these apartments. Decided to book apartment for two weeks over Christmas 2021. Parking and Checkin straightforward with good instructions from owner. Amazed at size and quality when we checked in. Large rooms and large terrace well furnished overlooking sea with sun all day. Excellent Christmas relaxing and strolling into Gran Tarajal.

Lovely apartment

Had a lovely stay, everything was as described. We had a swim must days and the pool was great. A lovely town a some good restaurants for dinner. We shall visit here again!

Home From Home

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the apartment. Very spacious and everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The sun terrace and the views from it are amazing and we got sun usually about 7 hours a day and were sheltered from the wind. This fishing village is very refreshing as it's unspoilt by commercialism and prices are very reasonable for your self catering needs. Would definitely return in the near future. The communication from Leslie and Tracey was very informative and the apartment is a credit to them.

Great stay

Our family of four (children aged 13 & 10) spent a week at this beautiful apartment in Gran Tarajal over New Year. The apartment itself was very spacious, very clean and well furnished, with plenty of room for the four of us. The crowning glory however is the wonderful huge terrace with amazing views of the sea and sunsets. The terrace is well equipped with a dining table, sun loungers and BBQ. The apartment complex itself was immaculate and has a good size pool, and the neighbours we met were very friendly. The parking space for the apartment is so conveniently located, literally within a few steps, which means no lugging cases/shopping up and down stairs. The centre of Gran Tarajal is within walking distance from the complex however we did find the use of a hire car beneficial to explore the island. There are a number of restaurants in town however this is more of a Spanish working town than a resort, which we knew already and enjoyed that aspect of it. We mainly used Eurospar supermarket which has a fantastic range of fresh fish and meat - we BBQ’d nearly every day. We had a great time staying at Leslie and Tracy’s apartment, thank you so much! We would have no hesitation recommending it if you are after a relaxing holiday away from the typical resorts! Liza & family

Excellent location very enjoyable holiday

I would recommend this accommodation to anyone who wishes to be away from the main resorts. It is an excellent property and ideal location for visiting the island. We would certainly stay at this location again as we very much enjoyed our relaxing holiday.

Family holiday

Great apartment for a family stay or for a couple. There’s a good sized master bedroom with a super king sized bed, a double and single bedroom with space for a cot. Good wardrobe space. Great balcony with sun loungers, awning and umbrella. The inside living area was lovely and cool in the heat of the day. The apartment is situated in a small complex, 20 minutes walk, via the port, to the local town for shopping and the black sandy beach. Fabulous gated community pool with a separate gated children’s pool, spotlessly clean with excellent sun beds and umbrellas. There is a dedicated garage space in the complex, which we found a little tricky to get into in the beginning, better for a smaller car. Sea views from the balcony and the sunsets at the end of the day are stunning. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Spectacular views from this lovely apartment

We enjoyed a lovely holiday at this spacious apartment. Well equipped, comfortable and convenient to both the harbour and main town. The pool was great, spotless and well maintained with plenty of loungers etc for all wanting to use them. While the town is not a busy resort, it suited us well having kept its Spanish feel. Thank you to Leslie and Tracey who were very helpful with all our queries.

Well situated quiet apartment with great views

This was our second visit to the apartment and we are booked for next year already! Very clean and quiet and well maintained. Leslie is very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. We would recommend the apartment to couples and families. Access to the apartment is good and the parking space a bonus. Gran Tarajal is within walking distance though we would recommend hiring a car for access to other areas on the island. We like the fact that the area is not too ‘tourist ‘ oriented so it is not as busy. If you prefer more hustle and bustle then it may not be suitable for you. There are several restaurants along the promenade, but we enjoy a BBQ whilst watching the sunset. Looking forward to our next visit already!

Super long term stay

For the second time we spent almost 8 weeks in this fantastic holiday apartment. The apartment was ideal for our long-term stay. The very well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, large fridge freezer, microwave, hot air oven, etc. was very comfortable. The new gas grill on the terrace was also used intensively. Another highlight is the fast internet access. The residential complex and apartment are barrier-free, the parking lot is directly next to the entrance. We were travelling with a wheelchair and could move comfortably in the apartment and on the large terrace. Only through the bathroom door did the wheelchair not fit, a seat change was necessary. We thank Tracey and Leslie and intend to come again.

Fantastic apartment

We enjoyed a lovely relaxing week in this amazing apartment. It was beyond our expectations as the pictures really don’t do it justice. It is well equipped and immaculate with all the rooms being a great size. Perfect for a chilled week. The views from the large balcony are breathtaking, and the only sound being the ocean, it really was perfect. The owner was incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely be back and recommending this too friends and family.

Amazing property with spectacular sea views

We had a great stay at this property, very well allocated in a very peaceful and immaculate complex and with all services, restaurants, cafes and shops only a 10 mins short walk along the lovely marina. The complex has it's own pool which we had to ourselves most days. The property is very well laid out, equipped and decorated to a high standard to assure the perfect stay . The apartment itself is positioned next to the sea with wonderful sea and mountain views. The large sun terrace has also a gas BBQ which we loved to cook on in the evening sun. We met Leslie who told us about the area, where to eat, beaches etc – very helpful from that start. Great place, would highly recommend and we would be happy to return – a gem of a property!

Spacious and unspoilt views

Lovely spotless apartment in a immaculate complex. The views from the large terrace are great and the apartment has everything you could possibly need, even a gas bbq on terrace. Car parking is not for the feint hearted, but you do get used to it.

Lovely large sea-view apartment.

A fabulous apartment overlooking the Atlantic Ocean with all the amenities a family would need. The outside patio is large and easily accommodated our family of four, including a two year old. With an adjacent undercover car park space just added to the convenience of the apartment. The position of the apartment is on a hill and at the far end of the town and could be difficult for older people, but we enjoyed the exercise. Gran Tarajal is a Spanish seaside town with a lovely yacht harbour. There are some good restaurants and bars which we found very reasonably priced. The locals were very friendly and English was not spoken has much as we expected, but we managed. To sum up, we loved the apartment, particularly the owners, Lesley and Tracey who were very helpful and informative. We loved the town and it's authentic Spanish feel.

Schönes Appartment mit tollem Blick aufs Meer

Das Appartment ist Teil einer größeren, aber insgesamt ruhigen Anlage. Die Terrasse ist sehr groß und bietet einen wunderbaren Aublick. Der Swimming-Pool bietet eine gute Badegelgenheit, wenn man nicht ans Meer möchte. Das Appartment ist gut ausgestattet und es war alles piccobello sauber. Das Parkdeck liegt praktischerweise auf Ebene der Wohnung, für sehr große Fahrzeuge ist es evtl. etwas eng. Gran Tarajal ist ein beschaulicher Ort und guter Ausgangspunkt, um die Insel zu erkunden. Zu guter letzt: Leslie und Tracey sind sehr angenehme Vermieter, die alles perfekt organisieren. Wir haben uns als Familie enen tollen Urlaub genossen.

wonderful, peaceful location

Our stay was so peaceful and relaxing. The apartment was just beautiful very spacious and of a hich spec. There is everything you need for a perfect time away. A large kitchen area with all the utensils. The sunbathing area was huge and we spent most of our days relaxing here and enjoying the view. It is a 10 minute walk in to town where there are two big supermarkets. The days are between hot and warm but the evenings in December are quite cool so take a jacket. We would highly recommend the apartment and contact with the owner is very easy and any problem is dealt with straight away.

Impressive, well equipped clean apartment with stunning views

Had a great two weeks in this apartment in September. We were impressed as soon as we walked through the door, such a lovely apartment with everything we needed and an amazing view from the balcony. We couldn't believe how big the apartment was and for such a reasonable price. Very clean and really well equipped, was great to have such a large balcony with sun beds, barbecue and a large table and chairs. We had breakfast every morning on the balcony. Was good to meet Leslie who gave us some tips on places to go. The welcome gift was a lovely touch. Gran Tarajal is a great base for exploring the island, we hired a car for the full 2 weeks which allowed us to visit the amazing Sotovento and Costa Calma beaches. We took a boat trip on Leslie's recommendation from Morro Jable.... and saw dolphins !! We went as far north as Corralejo, and were impressed by the dunes. We enjoyed the Zoo (Oasis Park) and also visited the historic capital of the island, Betancuria (in the mountains). We only sampled a few of restaurants in Gran Tarajal but loved Da Nonna as we went three times. Can also recommend Shivam Indian Restaurant and Pizza Pomodoro, be warned that the 'gigantic' pizza on offer really is gigantic ! We had a wonderful stay and we would happily come back again. This was our first experience of homeaway.co.uk and found the whole experience easy. The reviews really helped us to decide where to stay and we cannot recommend this apartment enough !

Lovely apartment in top class complex

Spent over 2 weeks here in June with my wife,2 young kids and my father. Apartment was fantastic,complex was very well maintained and the view was beautiful from the huge terrace. In my opinion a car is a must for visiting surrounding beaches and resorts. Gran Tarajal itself was a bit too quiet for us and choice of restaurants was a bit limited. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the only negative on the apartment was the air conditioning,we felt that this is badly needed. Would recommend this to those looking for a very laid back holiday but possibly more suited to older people. Having said that we would definitely not rule out returning. We found Lesley and Tracey a joy to deal with and any issues that arose were dealt with quickly. Conor Ryan & family.

Amazing apartment with breathtaking views

Couldn't ask for anymore from this amazing apartment. Everything was spot on from the moment we arrived. The pictures don't reveal the true beauty of this property. The location Is an excellent base for getting around the island if you want to explore. Leslie and Tracy couldn't have been anymore helpful if they tried from booking the apartment, to recommending restaurants, car hire and places to see. The restaurants were all fabulous although we did keep going back to the same one due to it being so nice. The facilities were of a very high standard and the apartment is beautifully furnished and very modern. We can't wait to go back here, I can see why the apartment is so popular. The views are amazing we didn't want to leave. I Would definitely recommend this apartment it was amazing.

Fabulous apt, but gran tarajal not for us.

Could not fault the apt. It's perfect. From the underground carpark so close to the front door of such a well equipped apt, to the stunning views. It has everything you need. We just wish it was in or near Corralejo. Gran Tarajal was just a bit too quiet for us.
