A spacious and peaceful setting- great for a big family.
Browside Barn was an excellent choice for our family. The bedrooms are spacious with comfy beds and towels provided. The kitchen was well equipped and had every gadget you could possibly want on a short break- although it would have been nice to have an oven. The 3 bathroom options was great for a large family like ours and everything was very clean and well presented. The location is great for the southern Lakes with Windermere being 10minutes away. Parking isn't easy for more than 1 vehicle although there is always space just outside the barn on the road.
Overall a very comfortable and homely feel to this beautiful barn conversion.

Lovely confortable enjoyed by all
Charming house, well located and excellent communication from the owner. All of our party enjoyed staying here and would struggle to offer suggestions to improve our stay. Would highly recommend and would happily return. Good base for the south lakes including cartmell races. Local pub/restaurant within 2 mins walk.,

Excellent property
Excellent first time visit to the lakes. The property was excellent plenty of space all mod cons with fantastic views over Cartmel fell we sat out in garden 3 nights running and popped to the local pub ‘the crown’ literally 2 minute walk away, excellent location 10 minute drive to south Windermere, the photographs really don’t do this property justice,
