The cottage was just lovely, spacious comfortable and cosy with beautiful views over Sennen. The terrace at the front was ideal for an evening glass of wine overlooking the ocean and watching the sunset. Alistair was very friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely be back again!
We loved our week in Pentire - the house us situated overlooking one of the best stretches of coastline in the UK, within easy walking distance of Lands End, and much more. Alistair and Mary were a delight to meet and the house was ideal with plenty of room for our family of 3 (2 adults, 1 teenager). Highly recommended!
The property had an excellent location on the cliff top with a fabulous view of the beech. The property itself suited all of our requirements and it was an extra benefit being able to walk down the the beech each day, albeit the walk back up was a little more challenging especially after a hard day of surfing!
Overall we had had a brilliant holiday and will definitely be back!
We were very glad with our stay. Every morning a view where you can only dream of. Every morning we went out swimming in the cold sea. It’s a good work out to walk back. In the house is every thing you need. We enjoyed the quiet place and want to go again!
We absolutely loved staying at Pentire - the views are spectacular and that would have been enough ! But the house is gorgeous - homely , comfortable , full of books and antique furniture - spacious , really well equipped . Just perfect for us !
We had a lovely stay at Pentire, a great location with an amazing view across the cove. A quick stroll down to the beach, harder work coming back up but a good big of exercise that we enjoyed! The cottage had everything we needed and anything we weren’t sure about Alastair provided the answer very quickly. Lots of accessible walks and an evening enjoyed at The Minack, St Just not far for some nice eateries! We definitely plan to go back ..thank you 😊
This cottage ticks all the boxes :-)
Amazing view, comfortable, short walks from amazing beaches (Gwynver completely dog friendly, Sennen dogs restricted 10-6). 2 good double bedrooms both with sea views, well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio, which is sunny all day. Hot water plentiful.
Good communication with hosts.
We had a lovely time at this cosy, comfortable and beautifully presented cottage with a bird’s eye view of the surf beach at Sennen Cove. Being a stone’s throw from the path to the beach, and the South West Coast path, made it a perfect spot for hitting the beach, hiking, bird watching and star gazing. The proximity to Penzance, St Just, Pendeen and the Minack Theatre made day trips so easy.
We had a lovely week at Pendire, 4 adults and our little dog. The Cottage is comfortable and easily accommodates a family. The Cove is very close and the location is ideal for Lands end and other attractions. Alistair and Mary were very helpful. Overall a great experience. To improve things, a stand up shower would be a nice addition.
Very homely property with great location and excellent views. Very easy to book with personal contact by owners. The only thing we would have liked extra was a stand-up shower, but the hand-shower in the bath was very efficient. Highly recommended, would love to be able to spend time there again.

Fabulous! (couple + whippet dog)
Very sad to leave! The cottage was very clean and perfect with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including the wood stove in the living room. Fizz and choc welcomed us on arrival. Beautiful location with superb view over Sennen Cove. A short walk down to the beach for a morning walk and plenty of space for our whippet to run crazy on the sand. Two nice pubs a short drive away/walking distance (the Old Success Inn by the beach in Sennen Cove and the First and Last Inn towards Land's End). The location was perfect to visit Sennen, Minack Theatre, Penzance, St Michael Mount, Mousehole. We also ventured to St Ives, Falmouth and watched winter surfers in Praa Sands. Highly recommend this cottage and thank Alistair with his availability!

Home away from home
We had a brilliant stay at the cottage. It had all the comforts you’d want on a family holiday. The location was perfect and Alistair has been a gracious host to us during our stay. Sennen is beautiful and the view from the bedrooms were breathtaking.

Genuinely a lovely place to stay
We just spent two weeks here as a family of four with our dog in August 2018 and it was absolutely perfect. The location cannot be beaten and the cottage has a lovely homely feel. It's a 10-minute walk to the fantastic Sennen beach and 20-mins to the even more fantastic Gwenver beach. Both are excellent for surfing. The stunning coastal path is right on the doorstep - it's about an hours walk to Lands End and a couple of hours to Cape Cornwall. The kids took a five day surfing course at the surfing centre on the beach, had brilliantly skilled instructors and stood up on their first wave. We had excellent weather and made great use of the little barbecue on the front patio - eating outside listening to the sea and watching the stars every night. We met the owners who were very chilled - even taking us surfing and lending us their boards. A fantastic Cornish holiday.
