Lives up to its magical reputation!

Wow! We were really worried that the magical description would not live up to its promise but it really did. When the sun shone, which it did for the majority of the time it really is in a magical location. All the facilities are excellent and we would definitely stay again.

Location - cleanliness

Location is excellent. Property poorly maintained, on a short -term(cleaning) basis or a long-term (ongoing improvement/maintenance) basis. No blind on the bathroom window (we had to use bodyboards for privacy). Many windows are corroded and do not open. Putting a rustic label that says don’t open the window, is not charming. Tumble drier vents into a kitchen cupboard in an already (by its age) damp property. Not clean. Kitchen floor had to be vacuumed (after we cleaned-emptied and cleared a blockage in the vacuum cleaner). We had to transfer wet towels from the washing machine to tumble dry. Flies in the kitchen constantly. Kitchen units peeling from damp. The location is second to none, however there are better options on this coastline.

Great short stay

Lovely little cottage. Right up against the sea for super views and peace and quiet. We saw many dolphins from the cottage.

Lovely cottage, beautiful location

The cottage was everything the listing and photos promise, an absolutely stunning location right on the coast road so easily accessible from Larne, with trips to the towns, villages and glens very easy. We spent a fair bit of time in Cushendall which has a fantastic Tourist Information as well as petrol, small shops and cash machines. The property itself has a fantastic large living room, very effective heating, a bathroom with the best view ever and really comfortable bedrooms. If you're into Game of Thrones there's also a GoT location hidden away in the hills behind the coast road, 30 minutes steep walk away. Communication with the host couldn't have been better. All in all, Fallowvee Cottage is a stunner.

Beautiful

The setting is absolutely stunning, and we totally lucked out with the weather. The cottage is really comfortable. I traveled with my wife, two teenage girls and two dogs. As we had the dogs with us we were restricted to outside dining only, of which the immediate area offers very little. My only criticism of the property is that the access into and out of the driveway is extremely dangerous….visibility is really poor and the road is very busy at times.

Spectacular location

Absolutely lovely property, ideal for exploring the glens and the coast. The weather was excellent for our visit but to be fair even when overcast and raining this area is still beautiful. The sunrise and sunsets were stunning. We are definitely going to return to the area as we have fallen in love with NI, cannot wait for our next visit...... so sad that we have to leave ☹️

Lovely house, quite seaside house

Absolutely beautiful house in a quite seaside location. Amazing views in a quite harbor. It was an easy drive around the glens and antrim. House has all the amenities and is very cozy. I would recommend adding a mirror to assist with getting in and out of the driveway. It's a blind exit and currently impossible to see if cars are coming down the road.

Great sea view

Well appointed with a lovely sea view. Una, the hose keeper, lives next door and is easy to contact. Lots to see and do within 45 minutes drive including Belfast itself for rainy days. Will miss sitting in the garden staring at the see with my tea in the morning.

Brilliant, fantastic

Lovely cottage, Ideal location, the gales were a curse but it was February!! Perfect for Belfast and Giants Causeway and everything in between. Some idiot put disappointing in the Guest book but God knows why, you have to quantify and qualify your comments. Beautiful views, great for stargazing if no clouds, delightful part of the world, would highly recommend for dog lovers or not. If you don't like the sound of the sea or waves cascading over the rocks, stay at home. Otherwise you wont be disappointed. Peter, Liverpool.

Fairy tale cottage

Everything was perfect. This was a magical stay at an idyllic cottage. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were fortunate to see dolphins, a seal, and even sharks in the water. Locals were very friendly and we hope to come back again. Thank you Johanna for an enchanting experience!
