This lovely Penthouse apartment is located on the Balcon de Europa, right in the heart of Nerja, within easy walking distance to the Beach, as well as numerous Bars and Restaurants. The small block is locate above a bank a consists of just one other property. The property is located on the second floor, with lift access, and internally there is a staircase up to the private roof terrace.
The apartment consists of a master bedroom, with en-suite and two further bedrooms, one further full bathroom. The lounge over looks the main square and church. The kitchen has a washing machine and dishwasher. The roof terrace has a pool and out door seating as well as six sun loungers, from here there are panoramic views.

Disappointing stay, despite great location!

We really wanted to love this penthouse apartment in Nerja - the location is fantastic and the size of the apartment is great. However, the cleanliness was a major issue and the place feels tired and in need of attention.On arrival, we found a dead cockroach behind the sofa and ingrained dirt and dust throughout. I had to vacuum between the single beds myself due to a build-up of old dirt. The bathroom tiles had visible grime, and the kitchen wasn’t much better - lots of dirty splashes on the tiles and crumbs and debris left in the cupboards.The master bed was extremely firm and uncomfortable - so much so that I ended up sleeping on the sofa for a few nights, which really affected our experience. The pool also hadn’t been cleaned and was full of bugs.On a positive note, John at the letting agency was great - very responsive and helpful. He arranged a re-clean when I raised concerns and quickly helped when we locked ourselves out by leaving keys in the door. His support was appreciated, but unfortunately, it didn’t make up for the state of the property.After reading so many glowing reviews, we expected much more. Sadly, this was a really disappointing stay!

Good location and spacious apartment

Large apartment in a central location and convenient for bars, restaurants and the beach. It was clean overall but the outdoor space furniture was tired and some needs replacing. The management team were helpful and checking in was easy.

The apartment was just the job, plenty room, for the 4 of us, although last minute I dropped I dropped out with a broken foot, very sad for me, apartment near all the action , my family loved it out with a broken foot which is sad for me.

We had a wonderful stay in the accommodation as a family of 2 adults and 4 teenagers. Location is fantastic, with small balconies from lounge over square to people watch. Great sea and mountain views from the roof terrace and the pool is small but was sufficient space for us all to enjoy. Really enjoyed our holiday but found Nerja to be extremely busy in peak season.

Fabulous! Best Location

This property ticked every box for us! Clean spacious and in the very best location for this wishing to explore Nerja without the need for car hire! View from balconies in living area is exceptional and only succeeded by the breathtaking mountain and ocean views from rooftop pool area! John is a perfect host and on hand with clear and easy check in instructions etc. Would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone and I really hope some say we will be back!

Fantastic apartment and location

Very enjoyable 10 day stay at Casa Kehoe - the apartment is in a fantastic location right on the Balcon de Europa, so everything is in such easy reach. We enjoyed wandering the streets, eating out and dinners on the roof terrace listening to the music below. It’s right in the middle of all the action, but it’s a friendly, more sophisticated resort with a nice family vibe so no raucous drunkards disturbing the night air. And once you decide to go to bed the soundproofing is so good, you shut it all away. I’m a light sleeper and easily disturbed, but the beds are good quality and I wasn’t troubled once by noise. Great to have so many bars, shops and restaurants on the doorstep, and be within 100 m of a couple of beaches and only 10 mins walk to Burriana Beach for the water activities. John is a very attentive, friendly property manager - we contacted him as there was a faulty light switch in the kitchen and he was straight round to fix it. All in all would highly recommend this apartment. Our teenagers also loved the location and the independence it gave them to walk round the shops, or head down to the beach in the evening while we enjoyed the view from the terrace.

Amazing location

This property has the best location in Nerja. The buzz of the Balcon can be experienced from the rooftop terrace & private pool, but shut away when windows & shutters are closed. Apartment was clean and tidy. Bathrooms and Kitchen appeared a little tired around the edges, but functional and all equipment was provided. Communication with John was excellent from booking through to departure. We did feel, however that the information provided within the apartment was lacking. A book detailing local facilities (rubbish disposal etc) would have been useful and would have meant that we didn’t have to bother John with these requests. Overall an excellent property, the terrace & pool being the major attractions that were well used by us all. Thank you x

Best location

Had a lovely week here. Location is perfect. Apartment was comfortable, and very good quiet air conditioning. The pool is perfect. Even though it was Feria week could hardly hear a thing with windows closed. Just a couple of niggles, bedding not brilliant, and no bin liners(bin quite dirty).

Fantastic location

Had a fabulous 10 nights at this apartment. The location is absolutely perfect right in the centre with fabulous restaurants on the doorstep. Apartment was well equipped and spacious. Rooftop pool was the icing on the cake ! Great communication from the host . Only negative is it’s a busy noisy early hours when they empty bins and do cleaning but other than that I would definitely return and recommend this apartment.

Amazing location, Amazing apartment, Amazing service

We stayed as a family of 2 adults and 3 children, the apartment is in a great location next to the sea and in the centre of Nerja just a few steps from the shops, restaurants and everything in between. The apartment itself is very nice, clean with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and balconys over looking the square. There is a private pool and large terrace area overlooking the church and the square with views across the sea and inland over the hills. We all had a very enjoyable stay and John the property manager is nothing short of amazing, always available to help with any questions and was very responsive when we managed to lock ourselves out of the apartment. Big thanks to John and we would most certainly recommend to friends and family.

Fantastic apartment in fantastic location

We absolutely loved this apartment. Views were absolutely spectacular and location is fantastic. Right on the square with lover looking the church. Restaurants and bars right on your door step and we had some lovely meals out. The apartment it’s self is great and top it off your own private swimming pool . Will recommend and definitely be back . Penthouse apartment, Plaza Balcon de Europa, Nerja.

John the host was excellent throughout, rescheduling the stay during the pandemic. We had a couple of problems when we arrived but were sorted out by John instantly. The apartment could not have been in a more ideal location, right on the plaza iglesia, ideal for all the bars, tapas bars and restaurants. Roomy with air conditioning in each room and a wonderful private pool on the roof. All the rooms had double glazing. The closest beach was along a walkway down the side of the apartment. Will definitely be looking to stay again. Geoff & Chris

Fantastic apartment in excellent location

We had an amazing week here and the rooftop terrace and pool were the icing on the cake. Being right in the centre of the town with all the restaurants and shops was great yet it was just a few minutes walk from the beach. The hustle and bustle of the town centre in the evenings was not intrusive at all and once the doors and shutters were closed at night there was no noise at all. We will definitely stay here again next year if possible. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Perfect location, spacious apartment, beats expectation

We found nothing lacking for a 4 adult holiday. We didn’t cook but kitchen seemed to be very adequate. Yeah the dining table is in a daft place but if we were cooking then we would move it into living area. Previous customers had mentioned street noise but we found this to be low and not an issue. Pool is smallish but a bonus for hot days. Large terrace great. Will definitely book again even for just 2 of us as cost is about same as a room in Plaza Cavana hotel we stayed at last 2 trips. Great apartment in very central location

Super central location giving easy access to all Nerja's beaches, restaurants and viewpoints. Private and secluded roof top pool and terrace is a really nice escape. Being in the lively Balcon area obviously means there is noise from the street into the night but all indoor areas are fitted with excellent sound damping doors and windows and aircon works really well so overnight noise is not a big issue at all.

Fantastic 3 Bed apartment in Centre of Nerja with private pool

As regular visitors to Nerja and have stayed in a number of other accommodation, this apartment was by far the best location, safety, amenities, AC quality and bedrooms. At the end of the season there need to be a few replacements of lounger mattresses and back bedroom mattress which was so thin. The building is secure and lift to 2nd-floor apartment. Juliette balcony overlooking the square and in the evening you could open them enjoying the music and vibe from the square. The pool is small but sufficient for potentially 6 people and Playa Salon is 300m down the slope. Balcon de Europe is literally outside the door and Burriana Beach 10/15 minute walk. We hope to return next year if it's not already booked up!. Thank you for good contact beforehand.

Wonderful apartment

Lovely apartment, could be a little noisy late at night and early morning because of the central location. That said, for us the location was perfect, so close to The Balcón and many bars and restaurants. We will 100% definitely be back and would recommend!! Loved it!

Lovely apartment, great location
