This charming house is an olive grove of 10,000 m2 on the mountain of Puig Major overlooking the 'Sierra de Tramuntana', declared a World Heritage Site in the category of Cultural Landscape by UNESCO. Ideal to enjoy the peace and tranquility of a rustic environment. Only 8 minutes from Fornalutx, 15 minutes away from the town of Sóller, as well as the beach of Puerto de Sóller. The house is an example of sustainable life, using solar energy. It offers tasteful wooden furniture and stone crafts. It is part of a larger, independent and private estate, with access and own parking, surrounded by trees, orchards and marjales. Ideal place for walking, hiking, wonderful walks through the surrounding mountain landscapes, are easily accessible.

Fornalutx has been voted the most beautiful town in Spain on several occasions. Located in a valley of the mountains of the Sierra de Tramuntana, surrounded by orange, lemon and olive trees, with its Moorish stone marshes. Soller is considered one of the most beautiful and romantic villages on the island. Both villages with their stone houses, orange trees, etc. They have a lot of bars and restaurants with their special charm and traditional Mallorcan cuisine. They also have their own local market, banks and stores. In the Port of Sóller you can find some bars and good restaurants where you can enjoy fresh fish and meat too, some located on the seafront. Boat excursions are made from the port to visit the north coast (grand tour-GR) Mountain biking is also practiced.

Lovely quiet location, A perfect antidote to the crowds. Tomeu very welcoming with some lovely oranges and lemons from his farm, Coming from the Cotswolds we know all about sheep (!) but these were particularly charming with their bells and friendly manner, loved watching them especially during feeding time. Stunning location, only 10 minutes from Fornalutx which is beautiful with lovely restaurants and a beautiful outlook over the mountains. Very much enjoyed driving in the Tramontana mountains with its beautiful villages and stunning scenery and a lot of cyclists!! Thank you, Tomeu, for a lovely week In your beautiful cottage/Casa!

If you want to get away from it all this is a great place. The outside cooking area was especially good where we cooked on a wood fire every night plus there was a wood fired oven for pizzas etc. Good location for walking. Beautiful location amid the olive groves.

Rural property to get away from it all

A lovely quiet property within a short drive to facilities of Fornalutx and Soller (one of my favourite areas), plus a great base to explore the wider mountain range. We would have liked to explore some of the walking trails in the area, but the lovely weather was just too hot! Mari made us feel very welcome (even at our very late time of arrival and remained a message away from any other help/information that we needed - a perfect host!

Traditional Mallorcan house in the Serra de Tramuntana

It was lovely to stay in a traditional stone farm house in the mountains. It was quite chilly, so we lit a fire in the kitchen each morning & evening. The manager & the owner were both very friendly & helpful. It was delightful to wake up to both bird song & the sound of the sheep's bells. A good base from which to explore the north west/west of the island. We enjoyed some good walks & visited many of the recommended villages, towns, the monastery at Lluc & explored Palma. What a wonderful variety!

A very relaxing holiday in a beautiful setting.

The property was lovely and in a very peaceful and secluded setting. The owners have thought of everything. Our stay was extremely comfortable and the welcome gifts were very much appreciated. Mari was very friendly and helpful, before and during our stay. We would definitely recommend this property to those looking for a traditional and quiet place to stay, surrounded by the spectacular Tramuntana mountains.

Full of character surrounded by olive groves and fruit trees as well as friendly sheep

The setting of this property was exceptional. A real gem close to the beautiful village of Fornalutx. It did not disappoint in any way and exceeded our expectations. Inside the property was in traditional style ,comfortable and very well equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing family holiday. The outside environment was truly special and in particular the outside kitchen with BBQ and pizza oven was a highlight. This was a great place and the hospitality from Mari was very attentive - a power cut because of a lighting strike to the generator was sorted within an hour of contacting her. We would recommend wholeheartedly.

Great for mountain location and outdoor spaces

Lovely arrival down narrow lane to traditional couple of houses that are very private. The BBQ space is outstanding for long evenings and the shaded area lovely for bottle of wine or coffee. As the guidebook warns, some local paths on the map are bocked, so worth following signposted paths and using a guide for walking. 5 stars except two of us got neck ache from very soft pillows.

September in the country house

We had a wonderful time during the two weeks we spent in your house. Especially we enjoyed cooking in outdoor kitchen. We have been to several places in Mallorca, but yours is especially quiet and in close contact with nature. But at the same time it is well equipped and decorated in the traditional mallorcan style. Our kids loved feeding the sheep every morning. Though we were apart from noise and civilization, wonderful places like Soller or Fornalutx are only a few minutes away. We also made excursions to the breathtaking La Calobra and to Palma by train.

The perfect Holidays

This is a lovely house wich has ben converted to a very high standard and is very well equipped. The town of Soller is within walking of the village and Soller port is a 15 min' drive. Te views of mounatains are absolutely wonderful. The village got mumerous restaurants and great shops. I believe that would be a good place to be at any of the year. It's Perfect

The perfect holidays

If you want to rest and be confortable, this is he right plece. This summer I was in this wonderfull home with my family.My daugther is 5 years old and she enjoyed a lot in the house and with the animals. We went from Soller to Palma by train, the train is made of wood, it's very funny and the views are incredible. There is a fantastic beach in Puerto de Soller, it's very near to the house. The views and the peace in the house are fantastic. In conclusion, I recommend to everyone to spend some days of holidays in this house, they will be unforgettable.

Awesome!

3 months ago I was in this wonderful home. It is a perfect place to relax, have fun and enjoy with the family. The barbecue was perfect. Precious animals and incredible views. In conlusion, I recommend to everyone this great house where you can forget the world and spend an unforgettable holiday.

The house is perfectly situated in an amazing location, and the host personally guided us during check-in. We were delighted to find fresh oranges and lemons from the property's trees upon arrival. The house was very clean, with a fully equipped kitchen containing everything we needed.Communication with the host was exceptional - they responded quickly and provided excellent support throughout our stay. This property comes highly recommended for its location, cleanliness, amenities, and outstanding host service!

Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen, es bstand jederzeit die Möglichkeit d en Besitzer oder die Agentur zu kontaktieren. Es war woe beschrieben. Ein uriges Steinhaus im Tramuntana Gebirge, Schafe als einzige Mitbewohner. DIe Einrichtung war einfach, aber zweckmässug, es fehlte nichts. Einziges Manko waren die vielen Mücken, gegen die noch nicht einmal die einheimischen Mittel halfen. Man konnte viele Orte von dort aus in kurzer Zeit ereichen. anfahren oder aber einfacen.zweckmässig

Lovely peaceful and beautiful place

My son and I had a fantastic 5 night stay at this beautiful and peaceful place. Here you really get into gear and relax completely. There is no wifi in the house and the mobile signal is very poor, but even with a teenager you can do without SoMe for a few days. Actually think it's healthy. The warmest recommendations from here. Wunderschönes Haus in den Bergen

Einzigartiges Haus idyllisch gelegen und ein super Ausgangsort, um das Tramuntana Gebirge zu erkunden. Wer Ruhe und Zeit zum Abschalten sucht ist hier genau richtig. Die einzigen „Mitbewohner“ im Tal sind Schafe, Grillen und Frösche. Besonders toll ist auch die Außenküche mit Sitzgelegenheit.

The whole valley all to ourselves!

This house is fantastic if you are really looking for peace and quiet. At first we were surprised, the silence was deafening - just birds chirping, the bells of the sheep and the occasional frog croaking, no internet. An idyll! Tomeo, the owner, gave us a very friendly welcome and brought us a basket full of oranges and lemons from his garden. One morning he surprised us with croissants for breakfast from the great bakery in Fornalutx - very nice! It was really hard to say goodbye to this extraordinary place after a week. :-)
