Overall a fantastic stay at beautiful hise

The only slight criticism is the upstairs room with en-suite was the coldest room even with radiator on. Also a tumble dryer would be useful.

Fantastic place to stay.

Fantastic place to stay. Had a brilliant stay here, would highly recommend. Was brilliant that we didn’t have to bring travel cot/high chair or stair gate for our little boy. Would stay again! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

This was a beautiful holiday home.

This was a beautiful holiday home. Stunning location. Loads of activities to do down at Rothemurchus. We had great weather all week and we really made the most of it... mountain climbing, tree zone, paddle boarding, beaches, swam in the lochs, nature reserve... We will be coming back and we are actually glad our Greece holiday got cancelled because we had the most amazing time here in Aviemore! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

The cottage was lovely and the hot and and log burner were amazing. Only 1 little thing was a number of the pots, pans and kitchen utensils were dirty. This is more than likely previous holiday makers putting them back into the cupboards dirty but another quick wash and we were good to go.

we enjoyed our stay at the above address the house is spacious and warm we had young kids with us and found because of the wet weather the house could do with a tumble drier as the log fire and radiators was the only way to dry clothes overall we would stay again in the future.

This is a great place for a family holiday, whatever the ages of the family members.

This is a great place for a family holiday, whatever the ages of the family members. The house itself is very comfortable and clean, with plenty of cutlery, crockery and cooking equipment. The bedrooms and bathrooms are similarly clean and well equipped. The hot tub is well maintained, and the provision of dressing gowns for the bathers to use is very welcome. The garden is secure, so very suitable for pets and small children. We had a Guide Dog puppy in training with us, and she loved the freedom and the space outside. We were lucky to have beautiful weather, but the situation within easy reach of Aviemore and other facilities would have given us alternative entertainments if that had not been the case. We did not manage to assemble the stair gate, but used chairs to ensure that toddlers and the dog did not have access to the stairs and upper floor. Having spoken to the Factor before our visit, I am sure that she would have responded positively if we had wished her to sort this. However, it was just as easy to use the chairs, so we chose not to. If the weather had been wet, it could have been a challenge to dry the clothes/towels etc. A second airer, given the number of people able to stay in the house, would have been helpful in that case. Overall, however, neither of these minor inconveniences had any impact on a very enjoyable stay. Many thanks.

Fantastic cottage .

Fantastic cottage . Loads of space for everyone without getting under each other’s feet . The separate TV room is a good addition . Can’t fault the house at all , although we found the welcome package a bit bizarre . For 6 adults we received a tin of cookies , a pack of 6 biscuits , a small box of chocolates and 2 bottles of beer . However we knew it was self catering and had more than enough food and drink to cover our stay . We would definitely recommend this cottage for a get away from it all break . Wonderful !

We had an amazing time staying at Birch Corner for our wedding.

We had an amazing time staying at Birch Corner for our wedding. The house is beautifully presented in a nice quiet location, with local amenities a short drive. The house is incredibly spacious with more than enough room for all of our guests. Our dog loved the very big garden to run around in, though the fence is a little low if your dog is prone to jumping over things. We had a lot preparation needed for the wedding, and as we were unable to visit beforehand we relied heavily on the house management team there, and they were amazing. Audra helped us with local information that we would need, and helped organising extra items that we would need. Going above and beyond what would normally be expected, we are extremely grateful and would not have been able to have the special time we did without her help.

We would highly recommended birch corner.

We would highly recommended birch corner. It was a wonderful house in a super location with aviemore just a few minutes drive away. The garden was a delight and incredibly quiet with only the sound of birds singing to be heard. The hot tub was an obvious hit with the adults and children. A hidden gem was the mountain bike trails right on the doorstep.

I thought the property itself was fantastic.

I thought the property itself was fantastic. Clean and plenty of space for everyone. I was disappointed with the location. The advert says it's a few minutes walk from the centre, but it was a good 30 minute walk or £10 each way taxi.

Just back from a very nice week at Birch Corner.

Just back from a very nice week at Birch Corner. Great quiet location and house perfect size for two families. I think the cleaning service could be improved, some cupboards, towel rails and utility room dusty and there was a lolly stick lying on the carpet when we arrived. It would also be good to add some decent board games for rainy days and update the leaflets etc. In the lounge as some very dated. Hope this feedback is helpful. Overall a really pleasant stay.
